That's why it's called circumstantial evidence.
It is far more plausible than trying to blame an iced tea beverage in one outer garment.

I asked on another messageboard and they seem to remember it being during the FDLE testimony.

We haven't even touched the '******* punks'/'******* coons' discrepancy.

Exactly. It's circumstantial and can't be proven therefor it doesn't hold much.

You do realize that's how ALMOST ALL murder cases are tried right?

How quickly things have changed for George Zimmerman.

Over the weekend, it seemed like he was the most hated man in America. Thousands of people were protesting in the streets. Some people even resorted to violence. Of course, the media loved it.

    Today, it's different. Now he's a hero.

    From yahoo:

George Zimmerman, who has been in hiding since he was acquitted of murder in the death of Trayvon Martin, emerged to help rescue someone who was trapped in an overturned truck, police said today.

Sanford Police Department Capt. Jim McAuliffe told ABC News that Zimmerman "pulled an individual from a truck that had rolled over" at the intersection of a Florida highway last week.

The crash occurred at the intersection of I-4 and route 417, police said. The crash site is less than a mile from where he shot Martin.

Seems the only one that knows of that tale is the sanford pd - the same dept that tried to cover up for him.
Why didn't his media whore brother run to twitter and his 'media buddies' shouting from the rooftops the day this allegedly happened like he did with misinformation before trial?
Why was jumbo out if he is getting all these alleged death threats and all these protestors are out there since the whole family has tried to convince people they have had to live in hiding since he was arrested - not just since he was acquitted?
Seems funny a story like this comes out the day sanford pd has to turn over all the evidence collected for the State trial to the Department of Justice and the FBI.

and, of course, the story changes an hour later. seems to be a common theme in the life of zim. Now it's a whole family. pretty soon it will be a tour bus of senior citizens:

George Zimmerman helped family out of overturned SUV in Sanford, deputies say
    SANFORD, Fla. -

Authorities said George Zimmerman, who hasn't been spotted in public since being acquitted of second-degree murder in Trayvon Martin's death, helped rescue a family trapped in an overturned truck on the highway last week.

Seminole County Sheriff's Office said on Wednesday evening, Zimmerman stopped at the scene of a crash where a truck had rolled over at Interstate 4 and State Road 46 in Sanford.

There were four occupants inside the car, two parents and two children. Deputies said Zimmerman, with the help of another man, helped the family get out of the overturned Ford Explorer SUV.

    No one was injured.

Deputies said Zimmerman didn't witness the crash and left after the first deputy arrived.

Sanford police also tell Local 6 on Monday they delivered evidence from the Zimmerman trial to the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Zimmerman was acquitted of the charges on July 13.

Re: Zimmerman found not guilty in Martin death

For those of you that buy into all the media hype, ( either direction ) remember that the media IS biased! Example ? The doctored tape that NBC released that conveniently left out the part where the DISPATCHER ASKED Zimmerman about race. The following anecdote may help:
    The Biker

A Harley Biker is riding by the zoo in Washington , when he sees a little girl leaning into a lion's cage.

Suddenly the lion grabs her by the collar of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, all under the eyes of her screaming parents.

The biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.

Whimpering from pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly. A reporter watched the whole event.

The reporter addressing the Harley rider says,'Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I've seen a man do in my whole life.'

The Harley rider replies,'Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind bars. I just saw this kid in danger and acted as I felt right.'

The reporter says, 'Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a journalist, you know, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page. So, what do you do for a living and what political affiliation do you have?'

The biker says, “I'm a Marine and a Republican.”

    With that the journalist leaves.

The following morning the biker buys a paper to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads the front page:

U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS AFRICAN IMMIGRANT AND STEALS HIS LUNCH

...and THAT pretty much sums up the media's left wing approach to the news these days...
For whatever reasons the media slants, omits, and alters the so-called "news" to fit whatever their agenda happens to be at the time...!
It seems like in this "industry" common sense is not all that common!

This basically sums up why I think he should have been charged from the start. Even if the charges were dropped a little while later.

Every single party involved would have been better off.

Zimmerman would have been free and clear months ago. Hopefully with some fire arm restrictions and removal from the watch.
Martins family would have received some closure and a sense that equal justice was done.

Instead the Martin were basically told that there son was killed for walking down the street and being black and police were going to do nothing about it.
But don't worry the person who shot your son will be perfectly fine and only had some minor injuries.

Re: Zimmerman found not guilty in Martin death

Here we go again . . . apparently, the media has found the new Trayvon Martin.

So, I thought it would be a good idea to put this article about the "gentle giant" in the George Zimmerman thread:

Mourners urge black Americans to take action

The mourners filled an enormous church to remember Michael Brown — recalling him as a "gentle giant," aspiring rapper and recent high school graduate on his way to a technical college.

But the funeral that unfolded Monday was about much more than the black 18-year-old who lay in the closed casket after being shot to death by a white police officer. The emotional service sought to consecrate Brown's death as another in the long history of the civil rights movement and implored black Americans to change their protest chants into legislation and law.

More than 4,500 mourners filled Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis for the service, which at times seemed like a cross between a gospel revival and a rock concert. It began with upbeat music punctuated by clapping. Some people danced in place.

The crowd included the parents of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed 17-year-old African-American fatally shot by a neighborhood watch volunteer in Florida . . .
