Love can burn hot, but a scorned lover can burn even hotter.

A South Florida woman is in jail for setting her boyfriend's car on fire because she found out he was cheating on her, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

Tochara Stephens, 25, was charged with second-degree arson for the vengeful act, which also caused damage to two other cars parked near the fully engulfed 1998 purple Oldsmobile.

It could have been worse. Just ask a few other South Florida men who have had their pants lit on fire by angry girlfriends while they were still in them. WTF?

Early Wednesday morning, Stephens drove to the Delray Beach Maroone car dealership where her boyfriend, Lefrance Defranc, worked as a mechanic.

She dumped a couple of cans of gasoline on her beau's car and struck a match.

    Voila! Revenge served very hot.

When firefighters arrived to put out the fire, Stephens was parked across the street.

Police said she had a baseball bat and two gasoline cans in her car.

Defranc admitted to police he was cheating on Stephens with his baby mama.

    and,

An Ocala man says he is staying with his girlfriend even after she was arrested for pouring gasoline on his genitals and setting him on fire.

42-year old Andrew Williams suffered serious burns and was taken to Shands Hospital in Gainesville last week after police say his 29-year old girlfriend, Victoria Bynes set him on fire. Witnesses called police after seeing the couple arguing, and then Bynes poured gas on her boyfriend and lit him on fire.

Officers found Williams lying in front yard, smelling of gasoline and not able to speak. Bynes was charged with aggravated assault, but after she got out of jail and Williams was released from the hospital, the couple seems to have reconciled. Williams told reporters that the whole incident was a big misunderstanding. Bynes told detectives that she saw her boyfriend drop to the ground and roll to put out the flames. She says she left the scene because she thought he wasn't injured.

Family members say they are worried about the couple's relationship. It is not known if the couple will seek counseling or take a fire safety class. ROTFL!

    Time for some fireproof underwear!
