"Ken doll" spends $100,000 on cosmetic surgery



An American man has spent $100,000 on plastic surgery so he could become "a living Ken doll".

Justin Jedlica, 32, told The Doctors television show, that he had undergone between 90 and 100 surgical procedures.

"I've always been into plastic surgery because it's an extension of me being creative," Mr Jedlica said.




The Daily Mail in London reports that operations included five rhinoplasties, a cranial brow bone shape and augmentations to his cheeks, lips, buttocks and chin.

His first cosmetic procedure was a nose job at 18.

"It was really something that set me apart and validated me and I felt so euphoric," he told the Daily Mail.




Mr Jedlica, who proudly shows off his pec implants and silicone biceps, said surgery was a ways he could "treat myself as if I were my own sculpture, my own artwork".

A doctor on the TV show said Mr Jedlica was "extremely lucky" to have avoided any complications and warned him that the implants could deteriorate over time as his body tissue broke down, the Daily Mail reports.

Wow, is he getting ripped off.
