Re: IT Questions Here Please
The easiest way is to join one of the free storage sites such as Photobucket, Imageshack etc and link from there.
When pics are uploaded to a free storage site, the site stores the image and gives you a new URL for the pic which loads perfectly into "insert image"
The storage sites allow you to select images to upload from your computer and stores it / them and gives you the option of making the images publicly shared or private
Photobucket free accounts are limited to one month, I believe, but there are several, including Imageshack with unlimited usage and even fully paid accounts are relatively cheap
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing

Only we know if you right click on the picture, the URL of most pictures are a mile long.
So I go to Google URL Shortener to make the URL a manageable length.
When I copy that URL into the "Insert Image" dialogue box, it's not recognized.
Why is that?
Is there any other way to insert an image other than downloading it to your computer then uploading it?
Have been wondering about this for some time.
Thanks!
I haven't run into an issue yet using the picture function of the board and selecting 'from url' and uncheck the box under it. The unchecking the box underneath may be the key as I found out.
