    In memorium

It with a heavy heart and deep sadness that I announce the death of Paul Schlegel who died suddenly on December 7. Paul was a regular poster here at RS and posted under the moniker justtoomuchtime. Paul also helped behind the scenes when needed by the admins and was a great supporter of RS.

On a personal note, Paul was a dear personal friend of ten years, co-partner with Eagle’s Blog Swindles.org, assisted Eagle with research on special projects, worked with the FTC on many of their cases, and was a great supporter of Eagle.

He leaves behind a wife and two children, as well as his parents, brothers and sisters. Please keep all of them in your prayers as they cope with their loss, especially the children this Christmas.

Rest in Peace Paul, and you are sorely missed.

This is extremely sad news Lynne. Paul's contribution to the world of scam busting will be remembered for a long time. Very sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will certainly be missed by many members of this forum.

We all loved Paul dearly. He stepped up as an administrator and gave so much time to helping us run the forum. He was also instrumental in warning and informing the public. He truly had a servant's heart. Condolences to his family.

You were highly respected and will be greatly missed, Paul.

Horrible news . . . and right before Christmas, too.

I always liked Paul. So sad to lose such a highly valued and well-liked member of our community.

I regret I ignored this message because I thought it was about David Bowie. I was surprised when I read this just now.
Condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Paul's family. I only knew Paul through his posts on RS but I valued his interesting contributions. The space he leaves behind while it sadly provides a constant reminder of his absence is no doubt matched by the welcome he is receiving in the better place to which he has gone.
