Before you laugh, sadly too many people did and they lost it all. Last heard Dr Mara had fled to Germany where it is believed she still lives, but then again she could have snuck back into the U.S. and is keeping a low profile.

Yes they are fraud victims in the eyes of the law, we know that but the law is an ass (as said by Mr Bumble in Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens) As I said earlier they are architects of their own misfortune.

As you should know it is illegal in the US and other countries to participate in a ponzi or other similar fraud, you should also know that ignorance is no excuse although I suppose it could be argued in court that anyone joining a ponzi, then the balance of their mind had to be disturbed when they joined.
