I wont name the poster, they seem like a nice person but, sorry that's funny. To edit one of the CSS files, you need admin access to the site. If anyone had that level of access and malicious intent there are hundreds of ways to hurt the site worse than what's happening now. This isn't "hacker" problems, it's "programmer" problems. What George needs to do is set up a "child" of the current style sheet scam uses and test his changes on it. If it all works fine, make the same changes on the parent style. Of course if he was online when all but the first and last posts in each thread disappeared that means he edited the CSS and didn't even bother to see what effect his changes made before he logged out. That's not exactly best practices from an Admin perspective.
