If you read my one post on this entire thread, it doesn't insult. It only confirmed what one person brought to light. I usually don't comment on these types of threads since they're basically worthless.

ALA did make some goood points about footcare but he assumed that he was able to speak for everybody and evey condition. He may have visited numerous podiatrists and an orthopaedic surgeon about HIS CONDITION. That does not qualify him to pontificate about other peoples case histories.

ALA spoke about Morton's Neuroma. My doctor sent me to an orthopaedic surgeon about a condition that he thought could be Morton's Neuroma about fifteen years ago. The surgeon advised surgery and he told me that there was no alternative.

My doctor said that any medical diagnosis on the feet was extremely difficult as there were so many joints ligaments etc in the feet. He said, that he always advised patients to get as many opinions as possible before making decisions. I had been seeing an alternative medical practitioner on a regular basis then. She thought that the surgeon was wrong, that my symptoms could have been caused by a number of other things. I tried her homeopathic remedies instead of surgery and the condition was cleared up in a few weeks. Whatever caused my symptoms remains unknown but not all orthopaedic surgeons are right every time so I consider listening to an airline pilot who thinks he knows so much about the subject, to be the height of folly.

I can guarantee you it is not ALA. When I left Scam a very dashing, debonair gentleman asked me to run this forum.

ALA and I are long time friends from Scam. It got very heated over there and he always had my back. I had a scammer with 9 IDs and a proxy server accusing me of making death threats and stalking people. That scammer tried to get my children removed by child protective services among other vile things. ALA is really a great guy. He does take things very seriously, however.

I do not like the atmosphere and I must insist we see more respectful responses. If anyone has been made to feel unwelcome you have my personal apology. I will be around more as my son is doing better. Do use the ignore button when needed. I wish I could use one on my son who has begged for a skateboard a million times even after the doctor seconded my flat out no this morning.

Hello, ALA, are you talking about me? I used to post as alasycia but asked SBM if I could change my ID as it is also my business name and that has nothing to do with anti scam stuff, but I'm not pretending to be two people, I havent posted on this thread as you all seemed to be doing fine without me and it was getting very unpleasant, so if not I apologise. I am sorry about Judy's feet though and am glad she is not going to let the fish eat her flesh after posting here and I am going to stick up for her about feet, as I didnt look after mine and do all the stuff you suggested and now am paying for it.

People, this personal and "us and them" crap is getting very childish IMHO. We all come from different places. I posted on Patrick P's blog, the old ASD forum until banned and Scam, some of you posted on WLD, TG, MMG, Quatloos and others, and some posted on nearly all of them. We are all here because we hate scams and to post information on them to help people find out the truth. I have the greatest respect for all the members here who are willing to give their time and energy to do this, and I certainly include you, UT and Okosh in that list, but couldnt give a sh*t what forum they posted on before and wish we could let the subject drop (and by the way Okosh and Judy TG can be just as inhospitable as any other forum if they dont know you.)

SBM sorry to hear about your son- the only suggestion I can offer is to lock him up until he is 21, I never found a solution.lol

Hello again Folks! It surely is nice to be back in touch with the world. During a thunderstorm a week and half ago our satellite modem decided to retire for good. It has taken this long to get a tech out to replace it. Living in the country is great but it does have its quirks.

I checked in here and went first to new posts, that seems to bring me up-to-date quicker. Saw this one and could not imagine how so much interest was placed on Fish Theraphy for the feet. NEVER would I put my tootsies in a pool with fish to nibble on!! P2P I do sympathize with you on the foot problems. I have noticed that some people just have worse feet than others whether they take good care of them or not. You are very fortunate to have free medical care on that, we pay through the teeth in USA for dental (no pun intended), eye and foot care.

The soaks sound like a more efficient method to me, perhaps an oatmeal one and certainly see a trained medical person to have the ingrown nails cut. It is hard for us OLD folks to bend enough to get to the toes and even if you get there, it takes correct glasses to see and a steady hand doesn't hurt either. Try to find some really good softening skin cream for the feet to help with those callouses.

While reading through here, I thought for a minute or two I was in Adland and just got confused. Some of you don't like that place but the kind of bullying I see here would be stopped in ALP. We have a couple that sound just like ALA and they have been banned in many of the forums. Don't go get your hackles up with me again, you seem to be good at this scam busting but you have a problem with other people. I am not here to defend a friend but to call attention to all of you that this kind of trash will close this community down in a flash. We are supposed to be here to help and expose scam and internet fraud. If people come here and see this kind of dialogue, you will lose your credibility.

SBM sorry about your son and hope he heals well. Don't you have moderators to keep this kind of thing under control? I agree with the person who mentioned doing the rant & rave in the correct forum for that.

I am lucky to only suffer from foot problems at my age HM dear. I am lucky to be alive so don't waste sympathy on my feet. I go to the hospital every two months but it is a long wait between visits and fish therapy was one of the few things I had never tried. My particular problems are connected with several medical conditions including my hip joint and weight distribition. I will moan if and when I need a hip replacement and have to wait for years.

The point is that we are very lucky to get free treatment for essential health care here.
