    Google Ads

I've never looked into Google Ads, but I noticed something interesting this morning.

I was using Google to search about the Ukraine. Some of my ancestors came from that region and I was doing some genealogy tracking.

    Fair enough.

That's where I found out about that REVO energy drink I started another thread about.

So then I wandered over to scam.com to check out my theory why new members aren't posting. I clicked on the link of the newest member there to see if they had posted anything. Nothing, which confirms my theory. But I digress.

What I got were a lot of Google Ads:

    *
    Single Ukranian Ladies
Pretty Women from The Ukraine Are Looking for True Love - Now!
    Single Baltic Lady

    *
    Single Ukraine Ladies
Ukrainian girls and women are looking for dating with foreign men
    Online Dating Ukraine

    *
    Ukrainian women
Nice women from Ukraine looking for serious relation
Private contacts to women from Russia, Ukraine and Poland. InterKontakt NET

    *
    Meet Sexy Ukraine Women
Ukraine Dating and Singles Site. Find the Perfect Ukraine Woman Now!
    www.UkraineDate.com/Dating

    ... and so forth.

Which leads me to believe Google must install a lot of tracking cookies on your computer when you use their search function.

But what led them to believe I'm looking for a date with some Ukrainian жінка?

Was it because of George's porn sites and dating services?

    Interesting!

You can disable that function on Google. They do track cookies and your assumption is correct.

If you want to give yourself a giant fright, install a security program such as Webroot SpySweeper and see just who is tracking you and how many cookies, including tracking cookies, are being installed on your machine.

This is part of the reason I have my computer nuke all my cookies every time it boots up. Firefox remembers my passwords so logins are no problem and whoever wants to read my cookie crumb trail only gets a day or so of it at worst.

That's a pretty good one but my brother highly recommends Malwarebytes. It's also the top rated one on download.com. I also clear my cookies every day using ccleaner.

It is getting a little insane.. I found what I think might be a scam.. Blue world pools.. Just read ripoff report.. So I googled them, and now whatever sites I go on with google ads, there it is a blueworldpool ad..

Don't know if this is a good long term stragedy for google...
What ever happened to that guy? What was his name.. Ben, Finn... That's right it was Len!!!
