Jack sure has got himself a big shovel:
SoapBoxDad 06-19-2006 07:39 AM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

You can doubt all you want, but the great thing about the truth is it is the truth whether you want to believe it or not. And the only reason I am here is I am outraged by the ignorance and hate posted by SoapBoxMom, Renloyx, Phinnly and WishYouKnew.

Over my two decades, much of it being an entrepreneur after getting my MBA, I have NEVER built a business with a man of uncompromising integrity like Tim Darnell. I vetted the legality and business model out before ever aligning with Advantage Conferences. I have attended the last 3 Millionaire Mindset Conferences, in fact meeting with one of the speakers this afternoon; I have been on over 100 training and corporate calls now; and I have never seen a leader or corporate so committed to the field.

Those who have shared to date have no personal real experience with Advantage Conferences. Christians are not called to be punching bags to simply take the lies, libel, inaccuracies, etc.

I have repeatly shared that if someone is looking for a get rich quick scheme or if they have a problem with a business that is Christ-centered to go somehwere else. I am not here to sell our business and in fact, we don't even talk with a candidate until they have gone through 3 steps takes 90 minutes. I am here to give some balance to the absolute innaccuracies posted here.
These lies will forever come back to haunt Weinzierl. Tim Darnell has been ripping people off for decades. If Jack has checked out Darnell's history and asked more questions he wouldn't be in this mess. Tim is so clueless he freely admits he wrote the comp plan for United Sciences, was involved in Global Prosperity, renounced his citizenship and was sending in Affidavits instead of tax returns.

SoapBoxDad 06-20-2006 02:53 AM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

Actually, my business is worth $2.2 million at a minimum based on cash flow and profitability right now after a recent valuation. Thanks for asking.
txfan 06-21-2006 05:31 AM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

I've been reading this thread and doing some investigating on my own. Since when do millionaire's (Tim Darnell) get their jaguars repo'd?!?

I sure don't think I would want to take "millionaire advice" from someone who can't even pay his monthly car note!
    Millionaire Mindsetters - Page 4 - News - Houston - Houston Press
Good Christian that he is, Darnell decided to go into business with Colorado City residents Claudia Cawley and Elizabeth Knudson, and form All-Star Entrepreneur. That company was the first to promote the Millionaire Mindset Conference. As proof of how good a business opportunity All-Star was, the company's site showed a picture of two All-Star reps who won a 2003 Jaguar. The car was subsequently repossessed by Ford Motor Credit, which had sued Darnell in Collin County Court for nonpayment. (Darnell accused Cawley of rigging the contest and giving the car to two of her friends who then refused to take on the payments -- even though it was supposed to be a "giveaway." Darnell said that since he had signed paperwork for the car, he was left holding the bag.)
the411 06-23-2006 01:26 AM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

    Innocent Folks:

Let me explain what will happen when you get involved with AC.

You can review their 3 steps, submit a President's Interview, and be Accepted. Then it is your option to become a Rep for $59 with no product purchase OR you purchase one of their conferences based on the level of commisions that you hope to earn. They want you to purchase a $10,000 conference that last 2 days. Just pause a moment and think about that logically. 2 days= $10,000.

Moving on. By this point they will have you fired up about the business opportunity and will continue saying all the right things to make you believe FAITH and hard work is enough to succeed at this deal. You will be plugged into message boards with people praying and hoping for success. Many of these people are honest Christian people I'm sure. But this thing becomes a money pit for people. The advertising cost after your initial $10,000 is going to put you in an enormous hole.

You will be advertising on the same web spaces as 300 other Reps. Those that got in at the top will monopolize the top ad spaces. You will have to shell out BIG bucks in the long run to get your advertisements seen enough.

Remember, while this opportunity has some uniqueness in it's Christian appeal, it is part of an industry that people are hugely skeptical of. Don't think that you can sign up everyone for $10,000 bucks a pop.

I am opposed to encouraging anyone to give Advantage Conferences even one dollar. But if you simply must see for yourself, Become a rep for $59 and prove to yourself that Wishyouknew is telling you the truth. HE IS!!

If you purchase the $10,000 conference. I pray that you have deep pockets, cause if that first $10,000 doesnt sting, the next 10-20 thousand on unsuccessful advertising sure will!!

Chris, I mean PowerOldGlory, if that's not the pot calling the kettle black!! Neither you or SBD will ever directly answer any questions posed to you about anything to do with numbers related to AC. You just come back with these wordy responses of "Christianese" and why people should just believe what you say and trust you. I've always been told that people with nothing to hide, hide nothing. Apparently that's not the case with AC. They won't reveal any numbers on earnings, they won't release any info about who the speakers are at these conferences that your paying $10,000 to go to.

And, I'm sorry, I must have missed your reply on how as a Christian this is being a "wise" steward of my money?

Furthermore, you can come on here and claim all you want about how many people you are bringing to Christ through this business. I'm just wondering what it will be like when you have to stand before God one day and answer for all of the people that got further turned away from Him because of your words and actions!
SoapBoxDad 06-23-2006 08:17 AM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

Wishyouknew you are humorous and have no credibility except with your piling on team. Yes, we have joked about your username on a call.

AC is the plaintiff, just so you remember. You are one challenged individual. I thank the Lord every day for AC and for strong leaders like Tim Darnell who will not stand still when their is libel and slander. You guys and gals--SoapBoxMom should work for the Enquirer or Star. A two headed SoapBoxMom is found in church with Renloyx and Phinnly. Now, there is a story.

AC lost in summary judgment. The BBB's motion was granted in all respects. Tim never produced a provably false statement made by the BBB or me. The libel and slander is all coming from Weinzierl and Darnell as thsoe 2 court cases decisively show!!!
SoapBoxDad 06-23-2006 08:19 AM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

I actually have more business experience than Mr. Ramsey so I will go with my experience, education and personal track record at Advantage Conferences as well. Boy, if you knew what I knew, you would be laughing at your posts right now.
Chapter 7 bankruptcy 2 years later says it all! More douchebaggery!

Re: Scam Thread - Advantage Conferences / Tim Darnell (Financial Planner from Allen, TX) / Jack Weinzierl

Jack Weinzierl continues melting for post after post and Tim's office boy states Advantage Conferences got a "clean bill of health" from the Texas Attorney General's Office. Complete fiction, but isn't that par for the course for scammer Darnell!

    Consumer Protection

Attorney General "Endorsement" Is Usually Bogus
    Thursday, October 14, 2004

Our office occasionally receives inquiries from consumers seeking to verify that we have endorsed a business, organization or solicitation. We are always glad to answer this question, and the answer is almost always no. Our office does not generally endorse businesses or organizations, programs or clubs. Attorney General Abbott privately supports various charitable causes, but he does not use his office to endorse them. He certainly does not endorse for-profit activities.

If someone attempting to sell you something states or suggests that a product or service has been "endorsed" or "approved" by Attorney General Abbott himself or his office, they are misrepresenting our policy against endorsing any such items, and the offer could very well be a scam.

Also, under various circumstances, our investigators contact individuals seeking information, usually about the practices of a business you may have complained about. ....
And, needless to say there were zero sales via Ebay! LOLOLOL!!!!!

Keep up the good fight, renloyx. Unfortunately for me, I know too much about AC. :(

People are spending thousands per month promoting this stuff. Most will never come close to breaking even.
SoapBoxDad 06-26-2006 07:01 PM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

Here is some more insight for those who care about the truth about Advantage Conferences.

We could look at hundreds of examples like the ones I shared regarding almost any subject. The point I’m making is that statistics can lead to a surmise of a situation that would be seemingly intelligent, yet perfectly invalid. This discussion now brings us to the world of the business opportunity offered by Advantage Conferences.

Depending on which statistics you read, you’ll come to understand that the world of business is fraught with failure. In fact, most businesses fail over a period of five years or more. Advantage Conferences and her products are here in large measure as a response – a “solution” to those figures. We are dedicated to changing the statistics regarding business failure and success so that more check marks go in the “Win” column than in the “failure” column.

Tim Darnell has been dedicated and focused for years to define and describe the necessary intangibles that are requisite in becoming a business Champion; as well as to expose the problematic areas of the business world that can impede an enterprising person’s progress or even sink their business completely. I believe it is extremely important to talk openly and honestly about what can go wrong in a business (including AC) at least as much as we talk about the benefits of successful business.

In addition to the educational product and environment provided by Advantage Conferences, the Company also offers a powerful income opportunity. As we offer our approved Representatives this opportunity, you will never hear us say the word, easy. In fact, our Reps are not allowed to use that word, because it is simply not accurate in describing any genuine business endeavor like the AC opportunity.

Frankly, Tim has done everything he possibly can to create an opportunity that is more doable and accessible to the common person than anything else out there, but he would never make the mistake of saying this is “easy.”

Neophytes to the income opportunity industry see an income opportunity and their first reaction – their first thought is always the same – “get-rich-quick-scheme.” You will never hear us describe the AC opportunity in that regard although there have been some time-frame exceptions that actually allowed a few Reps to get rich quick. For most people this opportunity requires considerable time and diligence to figure it out and take the appropriate actions that bring in the potentially sizeable revenues.

I would also be the very first to state publicly that most people don’t have the wherewithal or ability to sustain an endeavor for the amount of time necessary to attain the profits that are potentially available here. The fact is, like the statistics above have pointed out, most people quit. Many quit before they even get started. Some give a three or four month effort. Unfortunately most people quit, to use a football analogy, on the 2 or 3 yard line.

Changing your life financially requires changing many things about your life that include long held perspectives and enacting repeated action steps – two areas of change that most people are not willing to make. Creating a successful enterprise takes work and it absolutely requires endurance. In addition, success requires consistency and a totally positive attitude all the time. In reality, how many people can do that? The answer, in my opinion and experience is that there are very few. The battle for success is in the mind of the enterprising individual. It is that battle with self that few people ever win.

The ones who are successful and the ones who have said and mean the following statement: “I will be the exception to these statistics. I will be the one who prevails. I will be the one who is able to trust in God during the down times and “last out” the days in the desert when no revenues are coming in.” They listen to positive messages and “tell-it-like-it-is” training, and believe in that teaching. They have faith and the single intangible SUB (Sustained Unwavering Belief). Most people can’t or won’t implement sustained, unwavering belief. The ones who do truly change their life for the better.

So, can you make a successful go of the AC opportunity? Here’s the answer: “Only you know the answer.” In my opinion, this is the best, most doable and most reasonable opportunity in existence and it just keeps getting better. It is designed for the common person who is willing to make an uncommon effort. Did you hear that? Are you willing to make an uncommon effort? Are you willing to do more than you ever have in the past to create more reward for yourself than you ever have in the past?

If not, then Advantage Conferences may not be a good fit for you. I don't know how this can be stated any more clearly.
the411 06-26-2006 07:58 PM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

    SoapBoxDad,
Now that you have posted 10,000 words of pre-prepared advertising documents written by Tim Darnell, I will respond to the "value" of your product.

It is obvious that the $10,000 price tag of the MMC was fashioned for the purpose of creating a low volume, high commission compensation plan. The $10,000 has nothing to do with the value of the conference and everything to do with Tim's hope of sustaining a business opportunity. You want people involved in the business opportunity to think that the price of $10,000 is cheap when they consider that they will be raking in $7,000 over and over again. The problem is that those who take the $10,000 plunge will have almost an insurmountable task of recouping that money. The market for $10,000 2 day conference tickets is miniscule.

Another thing to ponder.... A house divided against itself cannot stand. The people at Advantage Conferences have been very clever in wearing two hats. When it is a legality discussion, they cannot overcome their enthusiasm that people can become involved for $59 WITHOUT A Conference purchase. But when it is a Advertising Campaign to prospective buyers, that is something you must wish you could forget. As long as people are hesitant about taking the full $10,000 plunge and realize the $59 entry is the most common sense approach....$7,000 over and over again will vanish!

On a Spiritual note, if the information at these conferences is so revolutionary that it is going to cause an Earth shaking world wide crusade, then pricing such information at $10,000 (out of the reach of Millions and Millions of people on the planet) is hardly a noble effort. You talk about the truth setting us free. Let me remind you that Christ shared the Truth and offered it for free! I am so glad it has never cost me a dime to open up my Bible and Reap all the Blessings of God's promises and HIS MINDSET. And if I were a Christian Millionaire, I would never use that position to SELL, at Exorbanant prices, the information to people. Perhaps you should stop "Thinking like Millionaires" and start "Thinking like Christians."

As for the good Christian people who are part of this movement. Anything good that comes of their efforts will be in spite of Advantage Conferences and not because of it.
Jacko, this was Tim's fifth conference scheme. Global Prosperity landed folks in the federal pen for tax evasion among other things. Tru Dynamic imploded. Tim was sued and responded to that by renouncing his citizenship and Texas residency. Then he helped found that scam Liberty League, which got spanked by the Arizona Attorney General's Office. The virtually identical scam, All Star Entrepreneur, founded by Darnell and run out of his home caused massive losses and around 100 reps didn't even get the conference they paid for as it sank into chapter 7 bankruptcy. And, lest we forget Tim's comp plan for United Sciences which was deemed illegal by 3 attorneys general and with the fraudulent medical claims led to that scam imploding as well.

Darnell is a liar and fraud and the minute he is cornered he goes on the attack. Weinzierl being cut of the same cloth joined Tim in fabricating death threats and stalking allegations against me and publishing said. Weinzierl didn't speak out and refute those lies, so obviously he is just as guilty and derived some twisted pleasure out of putting my family in danger. Now, he is paying the price for his deceptions. The truth is here for all to see and will not be removed ever!!!!

I think the last post on that page is brilliant. I too think Jack should stop pretending to be a Christian!

The debate over this company's legal status or even it's Christian nature is an important one. But the Bottom line is that this system is simply NOT profitable for the vast majority of those involved.
I TRULY know more about AC than I wish I did. I TRULY wish I had never heard of them. :(

The leaders may have good intentions but I cannot imagine most people will ever break even. A lot of their marketing efforts seem to be Google Adwords. I cannot believe that you can have 500+ people bidding on a lot of the same keywords and all of them be successful. Only a few of the highest bidders will be successful in my opinion. The highest bidders will likely be those that have already covered their expenses.

Advantage Conferences has one advantage and that is people's ignorance. Most people are ignorant about Internet marketing and Google Adwords. They're ignorant and told that one of the things you should do is market over the Internet ... yada, yada, yada ... We'll teach you all you need to know ... yada, yada, yada ...... Internet marketing certainly sounds easy enough to the ignorant. Truthfully, it is rather easy. However, making money when you have 500+ others with the same goal isn't easy.

In my opinion, beginners will spend A LOT of money before they get to the $40,000 in sales needed for their first $7,000 check. That is unless they've already got friends and family willing to sign up for $10,000 each. Some of their websites say no selling friends and family. Yeah, right.

Anyway, I've said about all I can without getting into legal issues with them. Everything that I've posted is my opinion on things that are available to the public on their websites.

I TRULY wish I had never heard of them. I cannot, being of good conscience, promote this company to others. I believe too many people trying to better their situation in life will only make it worse. I don't want to see anyone get hurt by this.

Good luck to those that pursue their goals with AC. I just know it's not for me. In addition, there's no need for AC members to question my faith. My faith in God is strong. My faith in AC isn't. Hopefully they can understand my ability to separate the two.

AC members may also question my values for posting my opinion of their organization. Well, in my opinion, the Christian thing to do is to help others from being hurt. It's just my opinion that AC will hurt most people.

Everything that I've stated is just my opinion.

DEEPSOUTH, From your posts it's clear how deeply this company has affected you in a negative way. I truly sympathize with your situation.

I want to touch on a very important concept, which is hi-lighted in your quote above. It deals with the issue of faith. I want to be very clear that I am a faith believing Christian, and that I recognize the importance of living out your faith in every arena of your life; including business.

But what MUST be mentioned here, is that faith should never be used as a manipulative force to control employees. Advantage Conferences makes use of weekly "Mindset Calls" where top representatives and Tim Darnell himself will promote a "transending-type" mindset rooted in faith. This, in and of itself is not all bad. But if Representatives are told in the Getting Started E-Package, that their success is Ultimately "in God's hands" and that their work with Advantage Conferences will require "entrepreneaul faith" to keep dumping thousands of dollars into a system even with no results, the dynamic is altogether different. Faith can be no part of this equation.

An illustration would be for me to jump off a cliff and expect faith to do "all the magic." It is nothing about faith and everything about gravity at this point. Likewise, I really view AC reps (sadly) as jumping off of cliffs into a system that doesn't work, while top dawgs keep churning out lessons in faith.

Listen to King Solomon, the wisest and possibly the most wealthy man to ever live:
"I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does the food come to the wise, OR WEALTH TO THE BRILLIANT, or favor to the learned; BUT TIME and CHANCE happen to them all." Ecclesiastes 9:11

If you are a current Rep and have dumped thousands and thousands into this company with no results, please realize that your failure has nothing to do with your lack of mindset, faith, or persistance. And the success you've seen in your mentors has everything to do with TIME and CHANCE.
I think the real burning question one must ask while reading these archived posts is why Weinzierl to this day is singing Tim Darnell's praises and so valiantly defending him still. I wonder what Darnell has on Weinzierl that he is destroying his own integrity and job prospects in order to maintain this bizarre friendship.

Honestly, I hope A.C. does take this to court. At least then the truth will come out. You see, if they file a suit for slander and win, then it will become obvious that those who are guilty of this type of abuse are liars, and can't be trusted. Thus they will get what is due to them by penalty of breaking the law.

However, if such accusations against A.C. can be proven, then A.C. will be shown to be liars, and their intentions will become obvious to all.

But judging on the matter that the bbb has only one complaint against A.C.
for the entire time that they have been in business--about 36 months or more( a complaint that was resolved nonetheless), this tells me that A.C. does not fit the description of an unscrupulous business. By the way, ONLY one complaint with the bbb in 36 months against a business speaks volumes!

What it does tell me however, is that those people who oppose them could very well be their competition and are possibly endeavoring to ruin their (A.C's) reputation so as to steer their traffic in their (the competitor's) direction. But this is just my guess of course. It could be true, but then again it could be false.
deepsouth 07-07-2006 07:57 AM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell
I've dumped thousands of dollars in AC and I am not neutral.

AC could easy support its claim just by showing how many people received $7000 checks last month. That would put an end to any speculation. They won't do it because it certainly wouldn't help them get new members.
    Page 35 of 95.pdf

    Page 36 of 95.pdf

Gee, how did those suits against me and the BBB turn out. LOL!!!! Advantage Conferences and Timmy both lost in Summary Judgment and never were they able to produce a single false statement made by me or the BBB. The BBB garnished AC's account to the tune of $10,000.00 and left a mere $500.00 in the millionaire account in May 2007. Timmy couldn't make payroll and had to con an 80 year old rep out of $30,000.00 because the business was down the tubes and long since in the red with piles of unpaid bills.

The reps were terrified if they complained Tim would sue them or attack them online and call them mentally challenged as he had done to other reps. Robert Gandley vigorously pursued a refund and only got a partial one when he signed a confidentiality agreement and agreed to have his BBB complaint taken down. There is no truth or honesty behind AC. It was built on lies and threats as the court papers prove! Notice Darnell and Weinzierl have never honestly disclosed any numbers related to AC. We may never know exactly how many checks were paid out. We can be sure the 98% loss rate is correct from what Darnell was forced to turn over when he foolishly sued the BBB.

Those frivolous groundless harassment suits Tim and his partner-in-scamming cooked up sure did prove where the truth lies. I am 100% truth, facts and opinion and I am going to take the tens of thousands in expense, hassle and fear of retaliation my family suffered with right out of the scammers behinds. Weinzierl and Darnell making false accusations of criminal activity telling the world I was stalking and sending death threats has guaranteed I will never rest until justice is truly served!!! Maybe scammer Stephanie Weinzierl can lecture her third graders on the consequences of lying and abusing God's precious word!!!

Yossarian is incredible. Tim Darnell very effectively uses his background in psychology (his minor in college) to defraud people.
yossarian 07-07-2006 06:01 PM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

I wrote the following post in response to SBD's claim that their President's interview was "unique" to their business and served to filter out people who really aren't cut out for AC.

AC’s interview is by no means even remotely "unique to the industry." You have made this claim in many of your posts, and it is time to refute it.

This is standard operating procedure for this type of company. Out of the several I can point to, one that I have extensive personal experience with is Robert Alan's "No Money Down" mentoring program (at least, that's what it was called back when I went through their 'stringent' interview process; now, I believe it's called "The One Minute Millionaire.") Theirs was almost identical to the interview posted above, both in content and underlying motive. There was a written questionnaire/interview followed by two phone interviews.

Here's how it works: by the time the prospect is filling out the initial qualifying interview, he is already partly sold on the concept.

The company has planned this out very carefully and deliberately. They know that everyone filling out the form has already whetted their appetites on the company's website, which lists testimonial after testimonial of affiliates who say they became wealthy using the program. These people look pretty normal, he thinks to himself. I don't see why that couldn't be me. The prospect has begun to salivate: Mission One accomplished.

The problem the company now faces? – the prospect does not yet know about outrageous price tag, which they realize no rational human being in their right mind would ever pay. ‘Right mind’ are the important words to focus on here.

To solve this dilemma, Mission Two’s purpose becomes to gradually move the prospect away from rational, objective thought and toward a mental state that facilitates a situation where the prospect is practically begging you to let him pay the $10,000 fee, and when you eventually oblige him, he feels as though he just got the deal of a lifetime. This may sound like an impossible task, but it’s Salesmanship101 and fairly simple to achieve, and it is where the 'interview process' comes into play.

The Interview Process Accomplishes Two Important Things:

1.) It provides the company with the appearance of legitimacy. If this was a scam, they wouldn’t be so careful about who they let in, would they? It is used to build up that all-too-important credibility factor, which, due to the program’s exorbitant cost, will be vital in closing the prospect.

2.) It utilizes reverse-psychology (and to great effect) to manipulate the situation to the point where the prospect begins selling himself to the company – as if it is an actual interview, and he is speaking to the manager of a Fortune 500 company! You would be amazed at how quickly they can move a seemingly intelligent person into this frame of mind. In fact, it has very little to do with intelligence and everything to do with the prevailing thoughts running through the prospect’s subconscious at this time.

Their questions are geared toward making the prospect want to convince the company how hard-working and dedicated he is:

    Quote:
Are you a positive, enthusiastic person and are you able to maintain “Positive Expectancy” for the long run and amidst all circumstances?

“Winners never quit” - can you be consistent and persistent for an extended period of time – however long it takes to accomplish what it is you want to accomplish (question #5)?

“Quitters never win” - do you understand that should you quit you will lose your money, time, and any contacts you may have introduced to your business?.

Once he has completed the written portion, he is invited to speak with a representative. Whew! he thinks to himself. That was pretty thorough, but I made it to the next step.

The phone interviewer asks questions similar in nature to those found on the questionairre. They are targeted at the prospect’s sense of self-worth, and ever-hinting at the company’s "strict selectiveness" in choosing those it will accept.

In addition, the rep makes intermittent comments that seem to suggest he is constantly on the verge of turning the prospect down. “I don’t know, John -- we only want the most serious and motivated people to join us, and it sounds like you might not be right for this…” which elicits from the prospect a gut response: Wait! No, I’ve got what it takes. I’m dead serious about this and am willing to go the distance!

He does this without thinking; he almost can’t help it. Human beings possess a strong emotional desire to appear valuable and capable in the eyes of others. Our gut reaction is to defend ourselves and our abilities, which is precisely the purpose behind the company’s ‘cautious’ approach. Consequently, the interviewee does his best to prove himself, touting is work ethic, dedication, etc… shifting even deeper into a defensive state of mind, and unconsciously elevating the company’s prestige (as he perceives it) in the process.

The company rep has now effectively done his job; he no longer has to try to sell the prospect on the program; the prospect is now trying to sell him on his own worthiness to become a member. The interviewer will push the prospect as far on the defensive as he possibly can, and, once he has reached the ideal point – once the tables have turned a complete 180-degrees – he closes the deal.

The prospect hangs up the phone, both exhilerated and relieved that he made it through the phone interview, and that the company has agreed to take his $10,000 payment and given him the chance to reap the vast riches that surely await him.

These are nothing more than slight-of-hand parlor tricks. Salesmen and con artists alike have used reverse psychology for hundreds of years and will continue to use it as long as the human psyche possesses the capacity to be taken.

Wishyouknew, it is so sad that you feel you are insulated and protected from sharing your inaccuracies and outright hate-filled lies here. You have SoapBoxMom to thank for that false sense of security. SBM seems to know Dr. Taylor quite well. I can imagine a very interesting conversation under oath. Dr. Taylor, do you know SoapBoxMom, WishYouKnew and other participants on scam.com? Well, I, ah, they are protected by their anonymous usernames there, aren't they? Answer the question Dr. Taylor.

    What fun :)

The great thing about the truth is it is the truth whether you decide to believe it or not.
Wrong, scammer Jack. The fun is right now watching you get nailed! There is accountability!!! You are now paying the price for your shenanigans. You just never realized that the truth would be here for all to see and your deceit would cause your horrific downfall. Pride does go before the fall and your arrogance is beyond astounding.

I will be forwarding everything here to Coram Deo Academy as those children must be protected from the influence of your partner in scamming Stephanie. The parents and staff should read every word you wrote and know of your treachery and vicious attacks on my family. You should have retracted those hideous lies about being stalked, renounced Darnell, apologized and settled fairly with your victim in court.

Jack as SoapBoxDad whines about how there is such a spirit of victimhood on that thread. Well, Daddio I am not just one of your victims, but I am the thorn in your side that can not be removed and I intend to make sure you are completely taken out and will never be able to harm anyone else ever again!

    !
If you've made over $200,000 then you would have to be one of only three or four making money from AC. There's over 500 people in the organization and there's only about 300 sales from what I understand.

Now I can understand why you'd want to keep this game going. You're one of the very few that ever receive a dime from AC. Others are throwing money into advertising so that you can get another check.

How many have you signed up that are making $7000 per month? What would you estimate that percentage to be? You never answered that question. I am sure you could figure that out.

What percentage of people in AC are making $7000 per month? You know it would be very very few.

Thanks but spare me your holier than thou attitude. I am sorry but I would just feel like I was bilking people of their hard-earned money.

It would be very easy for AC to open their books. Why not show us how many people are making money?

If that is what they are looking for, they should look somewhere else.
#1 If the "success" variable is, in fact, in the hands of the person building the business, then Advantage Conferences has been extraordinarily deceitful in touting a Automated system where (direct quotes) "the system is the Pro so you don't have to be", "you don't have to talk to anybody," "without even talking to their candidates," "Over the years, we've found that the LESS "personality" and "human involvement" is required, the MORE likely the business is to work for any and everyone!"

You cannot have it both ways. You cannot mislead people through your advertising that this system is something so revolutionary that they need no prior experience, or that it is the pro so they don't have to be. You cannot take that stance (which is substantiated with your own documents) and then come on here and criticize people who fail in your business while criticizing their character flaws. Sounds like double talk to me.

#2 You say, "We live in a microwave society and people jump from thing to thing looking to get rich quick. If that is what they are looking for, they should look somewhere else."

Again, Taken directly from your own material, a headline reads "What is the quickest way to make $7,000?" This headline precedes 2 testimontials: 1 from Jim Wald ironically states "I didn't have to say anything to a single person, the system did all the work" He claims to have gotten $14,000 in a few weeks. The next Testimonial also highlights a timeframe of receiving $21,000 in three weeks. Next a compensation plan is introduced where it states, "you can realize a healthy six even seven digit return within one or two years."

Another section is started, "Quickest and most profitable Activity I can do now?" Answer--Simply encourage any and everyone you know to fill out an interest form on your income opportunity page.

SoapBoxDad, are you so blinded by the trees that you cannot see the forest? You are condemning strongly a world where people seek quick riches, and then your company uses that very same tactic to draw in people. Read your own documents. It's all there. All of this amounts to double talk and misrepresentation. AC seeks desparately to be viewed as distinct amongst other shady income opportunities. But by simply reading their own documents, the same red flags are still present.
The best Bible verse on the thread:
Proverbs 13:11 - Wealth obtained by fraud dwindles, But the one who gathers by labor increases it.

I love the last post. I wouldn't get near scammer Weinzierl as one can never know when lightening might strike him down!!! If the system does all the work, what could the effort of the rep possibly have to do with their success? Perhaps, you made money, Weinzierl because you are a slick liar and spent $6,000.00 a month on advertising in the early months which by far outspent all the little guys. And, yes, scammer Jack, let's see those AC books. You know everything Tim Darnell knows and vice versa, right???

Here is where I expose that lying sack of manure, SoapBoxDad, as scammer-in-chief Jack Weinzierl and the lying dirtbag denies it. He is nothing but a lying conniving fraud!
Soapboxmom 07-19-2006 02:25 AM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

My Personal Perspective by Jack Weinzierl

The Millionaire Mindset Conference is of great value and I believe what we offer goes so far beyond that. Think of how many individuals invest $100K+ in a franchise to hopefully get a proven business system and they are buying themselves a job, often a very low paying one. Well, at Advantage Conferences, we provide a proven system, a highly differentiated product, and ongoing training and coaching to help people succeed long term. We don't just give people a seminar, we provide them a system and continuous coaching with very successful entrepreneurs and advisors to put that knowledge into practice.

You know the one key thing that the summary does not address is the value for our new partners from the coaching and training they get from me and other successful entrepreneurs and business advisors.

I say that without arrogance, but with confidence. In my first 6 months in networking 4 years ago, I invested approximately $35,000 on leads and various marketing campaigns to build my business. It was a disaster in terms of ROI, but it was the best failure I ever had. I was then able to leverage that knowledge in terms of what works and what doesn't and direct my team members, so they did not have to make the same mistakes I did. In my consulting profession, I used to bill out at $2,300 a day for that coaching, mentoring and training, while I was with Michael Milken and Larry Ellison's consulting firm, Nextera. In addition to the Millionaire Mindset Conference, the ongoing training and coaching is invaluable to your success.

Where else can you partner with MBAs, successful entrepreneurs and advisors who have a vested interest in YOUR success?

    To Your Success,
    Jack Weinzierl

Gee, our own SoapBoxDad is probably Wacko Jacko himself. How many of the 500 reps could possibly just happen to be consultants that billed out at that particular figure? That also means our SBD did make a multiple six figure income, but lied when he suggested it was around 200 grand. We know Wacko Jacko has made $544,000 as of March 2006. We also know that with 300 sales and 500 reps that very few could be making even the $200,000 Daddio claims as there is only slightly more than 2 million $$$$$$ for the reps to fight over. So, my educated guess is that Super Sudsy Daddio is in fact Jack W. Who else would have any real incentive to try to peddle this bum deal?

txfan 07-20-2006 01:53 AM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

Since SBD is always sharing his "insights" from his devotionals, I thought I'd share what I read today during my Bible study time.

Galatians 6:7-9 - Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Even though I have read this passage many times before, it was such an encouragement to be reminded that God CANNOT be mocked. And that is exactly what these goons have been attempting to do. No matter how many people they have managed to swindle, the ultimate one they are trying to scam is God by their use (or misuse) of Christianity, and He will not stand for it. I think we may be beginning to see the first signs of AC and its scammers reaping the destruction they have sown as a result of their evil ways. It was also an encouragement to me and to all those on this thread who have diligently and persistently gone after them and their lies that at the proper time we will reap a harvest (AC's demise) if we do not give up!
    I will never give up!!!!

    So many wonderful posts:
deepsouth 07-22-2006 04:45 AM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

Anyone still trying to get others to join Advantage Conferences is morally bankrupt. The math is simple. They should easily be able to tell that people aren't making money with this scam.

The guy that set me up clearly lied to me about a few things. I learned of this shortly after I joined.

Honestly, I don't see how they can even pay their support staff with as little money as they've got coming in. I am hoping that AC crashes in the near future before more good people lose their money.

I also hope that anyone considering AC will find this forum before losing their hard-earned money.

Again, anyone still promoting AC is morally bankrupt.
humbled-by-grace 08-08-2006 08:08 AM Re: Advantages Conferences / Tim Darnell

Here is an example of the email response I receive from Mr. Darnell (or the program that claims to be Mr. Darnell) when I asked some probing questions. Instead of an honest response, I get more of the same script. This one touting spomething called the Systematized Qualifying Process© (SQP©):

"Before - You Never Had a Chance
    By Tim Darnell

I wholeheartedly believe in the Direct Sales Industry, and have dedicated a major portion of my life (now over 25 years) to this industry as a marketer, consultant, trainer - and since 2001, a direct sales company owner.

I'll be the first to tell you that our industry has massive room for improvement. This brief message is designed to highlight an amazing evolution of ideas – indeed, a radical upheaval that is just now becoming a reality. Reading this letter will make a major difference in your understanding of the industry and things about which you simply must be aware.

WARNING: Ignoring this letter, I promise you, will cost you a fortune in time, capital, and possibly important relationships.

The fundamental changes and differences that I will explain to you are indeed revolutionary – and serve to dramatically separate a single model from the vast array of options (other Income Opportunities and Companies). Indeed these differences are profound, starkly contrasting methods and philosophies that add up to the difference in success or failure for someone looking to further their financial situation. You should take every bit of this message personally and to heart.

To put it simply, if you worked other programs in the past or are currently involved in another program now, the odds are so stacked against your being successful that you really never had a chance. Glaring problems that have persisted for decades are fundamental to those programs; AND YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THEM!

The Manifestation of the Problems -
MOST PEOPLE (90+ PERCENT) IN HOME BUSINESSES
    DON'T MAKE MONEY

Is that an important problem to deal with? Obviously, certainly in my mind, this is THE single most important issue in our industry. It is THE PROBLEM that has desperately needed to be fixed and has not been fixed – until now.

Frankly, due to my being outspoken about these problems, I don't have a whole lot of friends left in the other programs, meaning I have very few friends in the entire industry, unless they are working with me now. Se la vie, the truth must be told – those programs are unquestionably fundamentally flawed. People simply don't like to hear that their business has problems.

Serious Question of Ethics: I find it unconscionable that companies promote an income opportunity at which the overwhelming majority of people fail. The people who are exceptions to this statement (those who do succeed) comprise such a small percentage of people that it is a blatant misrepresentation for a company to parade their "stud's" success in front of the unsuspecting public and say the opportunity is for everybody.

    The Positive News

The good news is that through years of prayer, trial and error, consultation from several people who came into my life at precisely the right moment, a band of loyal followers which has now turned into a rapidly growing, powerful, international marketing force, endless rabbit trails, lawsuits, and unimaginable blind-sides, the following solutions have finally been revealed to me and have converged into A BUSINESS MODEL that is undeniably FAIR & WORKS FOR ANYBODY who is serious about making significant money! The changes are totally in the average income opportunity seeker's favor. And, they make success absolutely predictable, more sizeable, and more quickly attainable than all the other models out there – and I can prove in black and white what I am saying is true.

I will tell you that arriving at this model has not been easy and has come about at no small price (literally millions of dollars and years out of my life). I'm not saying this to complain, but rather to point out a basic premise of innovation - dynamic solutions are never cheap or easy to come by.

If you truly want to achieve success in a home based marketing business, the following concepts are things that you must know about:

    ....

    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

    ...

This phenomenal RADICAL DEPARTURE bears repeating –

    You Only Talk to People
    When They Have Completely Qualified
for Your Specific Opportunity on Their Own!

These people are fully informed. They know all about your business. They qualified themselves. And they are excited, or they wouldn't be calling you or e-mailing you. Now, that's another radical departure – only talking to excited people who are ready to get started! That is a genuinely qualified person, and that is the only classification of person you will be talking to.

Who can participate in SQP©? Anybody who has the intelligence to understand the importance of what I've just detailed; and someone who has been approved after their interview with the President of the Company.

    BUT…

Everything we've talked about so far is only Reason #1 that Advantage Conferences makes 100 times more sense than any other business opportunity out there. There are two more radical departure components that are just as important, if not more important than Reason #1, effectually setting this business model light years ahead of anything else you may be looking at.

Not Hype – If you "get" what I'm explaining to you, then you're beginning to see why so many "average" people are already making huge amounts of money with this new model. (If you knew what we paid out in commissions last week you would drop your jaw.)

But be assured – this is not hype. No, this is rock-solid educational information from a professional, life-long, (and I don't mind telling you) highly successful marketer explaining developments in the home based business world that you must know about.

I trust you are listening and will take this info to heart.

AC says that there's no selling. That's bs.

Another thing AC says is that there's no calling friends and family. Well, I can tell you as an AC member, that is total bs. Seems like most of their emphasis now is on getting AC members to dump this on their friends and family. That way, Tim and a few others will get lucky and still pull a few checks.

I know I had to get out of AC because my conscience wouldn't allow me to dump this on anyone.

    Just my humble opinion.

The Treasures for the Kingdom Foundation is still not registered or in the addendum for newly registered charities. Our scamming goons are still trying to fool the public. It certainly is not federally recognized. Apparently this is just an avenue for Timmy and company to defraud folks out of more money. That is misrepresentation, deceptive trade practices and a sure ticket to purgatory now isn't Super Sudsy Daddio? The only miracle is that Timmy and Wacko Jacko haven't met up with the iron hand of justice yet.

Frank, I will pray for you brother. For you to judge that which you have no clue and obviously have done no due diligence is not only sad, but not Christ-like in any way. I wish you well and I have attached a copy of Slay Your Giant without charge as you have some giants that need to be slain. The Lord gives us the power to get wealth as you know from His word and not so we can hold tight to it, so it can flow through us. How dare you make such an accusation and I will stop at that before I reflect the lack of love and decently that you have demonstrated here. I have already forgiven you brother whether you asked for it or not.

Be blessed so you can be a blessing. We are reaching over 8,000 people with the Good News every week and most of them will never be representatives of AC. We will raise $250 million for His Kingdom over the next 5 years. My best to you and enjoy your read.

It is apparent these men (Jack and Tim) have bought into the health and wealth gospel, which is not a gospel but unscriptural error. I am reading the "Slay your Giant" which I downloaded. I will be making a point by point scriptural critique of Tim's false teachings. I will not sit back and see Gods little ones led down a path of financial destruction.

Regardless of what has been said to you or about your company, your retaliation in like manner is most unbefitting for someone Representing a Christian Company. You have responded not in love or gentle words which turn away wrath, but in harsh words that stir up anger- Proverbs 15:1. You and SBD have repeatedly referred to your opponents here as "lame brains," "cognitively challenged," "delusional", "scizophrenic," "bigots", "ass" and flat out "idiots." To add to this, you have taken a "Holier than Thou" stance in each of your post, often asserting that you are part of a world wide crusade while those here serve a useless purpose. If that wasn't enough, you have had the audacity to end these snide retaliations with "God Bless You."

Sir, I am going to ask you kindly to hold to your commitment of being done with this thread. You are making a mockery of the Christian faith that I hold dear.

Let me remind you of the only time our Lord lashed out in anger. In Matthew 21 the tables of the money changers were over turned in the temple. These "robbers" were convincing good men and women that the sacrificial animals they brought to the temple looked weak and pitiful. These temple go-ers were conned into paying ridiculous prices for better, healthier looking sacrificial animals. The parallel here to Advantage Conferences is left to interpretation, but clear to me. With the new "Treasures for the Kingdom" slogan you have adopted, you have taken a similar role. The real crusade you are a part of is convincing good Christian people that they need your Network Marketing program in order to offer God a meaningful, more giving life as a part of his Kingdom. The fact of the matter is that people do not need your $10,000 conference in order to please God, be part of a world wide crusade, or even be successful in life. And to call those who express opposition to your crusade "idiots" only confirms my suspicion that it is only a matter of time before the tables are over turned on you!

Any Person thinking of joining this scam... i'd Highly recommend that you read one persons personal story on this scam

    scams

    Hi Everyone,

I wish that I would have found this thread a year ago! I need to warn everyone about a scam called the 7kadvantage....

There is an evil man masquerading as a Christian, and his name is Jack Weinzierl. He will lie and cheat every last penny out of your savings and then never return your calls after it is obvious that you have no more to give.

I fell for this scam BIG TIME.... I believed in Jack.... and he and his wife kept telling me to "believe" and that everything would "work out" in God's time. What a fool I was.... he tried to tell me that my faith wasn't strong enough! The more I got to know him, the more un-Christian I realized he was! There is truly a dark spirit around this man and his wife! They are EVIL to the core!

My entire life savings was blown on this ridiculous opportunity. I fully understand that is probably my fault as much as anyone's, but there was Jack and his evil wife... encouraging me every step of the way! I am so embarrassed.... but I feel the need to share this disaster with others so that they don't fall for it as well!

I literally cried the night I went to my hotel room after attending a Millionaire Mindset Conference... I knew then that I had been taken. And I felt worse because I had unknowingly conned a close friend of mine to attend as well...He could only afford a one day ticket...I was sick.

PLEASE people.... beware of this scam. I have lost everything because of this opportunity, along with my poor decision making... my wife left me...everything.

    BEWARE OF JACK WEINZIERL!!!!!
Beware the Satanic Trinity of AC, Weinzierl and Darnell!!!

I at one time had to come to the same conclusion regarding the AC opportunity. Unfortunately for me, I joined AC and lost thousands of dollars like so many others.

I've posted on this board for a few months and I've received PMs (private messages) from several others that have lost a lot of money with Advantage Conferences. I've been hurt by being involved and I know that others have been hurt far worse than me. I don't know you but I don't want to see anyone get hurt by AC.

You may take the route of only starting with the $59 membership fee or you may blow the $10,000 upfront. If you only go the $59 membership fee route, you will then need a website, ~$500. You will need the autoresponder for the website, ~$150 & ~$70 per month. You will need to buy your domain name. You will need a few other misc. things that you will pay for. THEN, YOU WILL NEED TO PAY FOR YOUR ADVERTISING!!! ADVERTISING your site will cost you thousands of dollars!!!!

Please don't buy into the INTERNET MARKETING garbage. There are a VERY FEW AC members that were spending several thousand dollars advertising on the Internet each month. You'll be spending your money trying to buy keywords competing against a FEW THAT ARE HIGHER ON THEIR FOODCHAIN that were spending SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS each month. I don't know if they're still spending that kind of money since many have come to realize that AC is a big flop.

Another thing you need to consider is that they'll soon be pushing to you promote this to all your friends and family. They state in their advertising that you won't be selling or bothering friends and family. If you join, you'll be hearing the term "WARM MARKET" a lot in the very near future.

Honestly, I wish I had just given the thousands of dollars that I blew with AC to some charity or someone in need. I feel like I just BURNED thousands of my hard-earned dollars with AC.

I hope you'll consider my comments. I don't want to see you or anyone else lose their hard-earned money on this big flop.

The following pages are filled with posts that are obscene and quite disjointed. They are all the work of one beautiful, kind soul who had just come to realize Advantage Conferences was a scam and Jack Weinzierl and Tim Darnell had lied extensively. This is an incredibly painful thing to face for good, trusting people who had put in their life savings, maybe quit a full-time job to pursue this alleged business and totally committed to it. This person lashed out as they didn't know how to face the incredible, horrific mess that Advantage Conferences had gotten them into. Their pain is so fresh. God forbid this Satanic Trinity of AC, Weinzierl and Darnell should ever rise again!

We should pray that all those hurt recover financially and emotionally from the damge done by this egregious scam.

Re: Scam Thread - Advantage Conferences / Tim Darnell (Financial Planner from Allen, TX) / Jack Weinzierl

aboveandbeyond 12-07-2006 02:09 AM Re: Advantage Conferences BS (Merged)

I wanted to respond to this post to warn others (as many as I can) about Advantage Conferences. My eyes were opened to the fact that this has to be a ponzi scheme as others have mentioned. I didn't know about that and I only wish I did before I joined. That's why I'm writing this.

The company didn't honor their 100% money back guarantee for the conference and revealed the true nature of things. The conference is not worth it--they hardly talk about business at all and nothing extraordinary, as they promised, was said. It is cleverly disguised by weaving in Christian sentiment and big fan-fare (that is low too to use religion). It wasn't even professional or organized. The Reps are supposed to sell the "product" -- the conference-- and how can someone sell that if it isn't worth it? It isn't ethical or moral.

When I advised the president that I wanted my money back, he nastily told me that wouldn't happen. He refused to honor his promise and continued to ignore my messages. I then found out that he had removed the 100% guarantee from the site and that's fradulent misrepresentation.

So I urge others to avoid Advantage Conferences and not join!
The head of Advertising for Givers Magazine, trainer for the Hidden Treasures and failed rep of AC Judy Sterling was my best friend. We helped her out since the middle of 2007 as she was ruined financially by her involvement in AC. She lived with us for over four months and told me everything.

Judy was there at the conference when this happened. She found Darnell alone in a back room of Jack's million dollar mansion very upset. She asked him what was wrong and learned that there were refund requests and he was extremely upset. I take it he knew with the BBB decision loss and truthful posts on Scam that Advantage Conferences was for all practical purposes dead and gone. Tim also knew he could not possibly refund that rep as AC was sliding downhill avalanche fashion.

Millionaire Mindsetters No skeptics need apply
    Keri Rosebraugh

Everyone in this room wants to be a millionaire. What sets them apart from the rest of the schlubs who want the Big M is they're attending the Millionaire Mindset Conference in the downtown Dallas Hyatt Regency. They have shelled out between $995 and $9,995 for the privilege of hearing bona fide millionaires -- Christian millionaires -- tell their Horatio Algers.

In order to be a millionaire, you've got to think like a millionaire. And the Mindset Conference can offer that to you. Because once you buy into the conference, you're part of an elite Christian wealth-building force called Advantage Conferences. It's run by a guy from Allen, Texas, named Tim Darnell. Never heard of him? Your loss. Because he's got the tools to make you rich. All you need is a check and what he calls SUB: Sustained Unwavering Belief. It's like the Advantage Conferences web site says: "Doubters, skeptics, low self-image individuals need not apply." It's how AC weeds out people who doubt they can get rich. Since all those low-self-image individuals have been bused back to Loserville, you can be assured that everyone here is a go-getter.

And, as with all things, this is all made possible by the grace of Christ. Today's portion of the conference kicks off with a sermon by Darnell's dad, holder of a Duke doctorate of divinity.

    Info

    Millionaire Mindset Conference

David Darnell starts by recapping yesterday's exploration of Numbers 12. That's where God says he speaks to Moses not in riddles or dreams, but face-to-face and clearly.

"Think about that difference," he says, "between face-to-face and riddles."
And now, it's Matthew 6:5-15. That's where, Darnell says, Jesus introduces the word "hypocrite" into Biblical literature. Hypocrites are actors, showboating their religion, making a big deal of how pious they are.
Darnell puts it this way: "Don't practice your religion to be seen by people."

This is just part of the knowledge you get when you give Advantage Conferences your $10,000. It might be worth it, since it turns out that Jesus was a pretty smart guy, what with warning about hypocrites and all. And that wasn't his only warning. David Darnell didn't discuss it, but if he would've jumped ahead one chapter in Matthew, he could've pointed out something else Jesus said: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."

Given the histories of Tim Darnell and his current and past business partners, it's a passage that the hundreds of people who have joined Advantage Conferences might have done well to consider.

The first thing you need to know about Timothy Spencer Darnell is that he's not a U.S. citizen. Or at least not when it suits him.
In 2001, three months after a former client sued Darnell, Darnell filed an affidavit in Dallas County Court claiming that he's not a citizen, that the Dallas County Court-at-Law #3 is "an underling corporate fiction of the State of Texas, a corporation and a fiction," and that the court has no jurisdiction over him. Darnell's renunciation of the United States of America was supplemented by supporting affidavits by other Dallas-area noncitizens who claimed that Darnell "cannot receive a fair and impartial trial by jury of his peers by law in County Court-at-Law #3." When contacted by the Houston Press, affiant Mary Lou Starnater declined to say why she filed that affidavit, then hung up. (Darnell's wife's maiden name is Starnater.)

Brett Flagg, the Dallas attorney who represented Darnell's disgruntled client, said his client invested several thousand dollars in a company Darnell ran called Tru Dynamics. Flagg said the affidavit signaled a hard row ahead for his client, who decided to just call it a loss and move on.

Darnell has an entirely different recollection. He says he did not file the affidavit in response to a suit, but as a response to an affidavit filed by someone else that included Darnell's name in all upper-case letters.

Maybe it's best to let Darnell explain in his own words:
"The use of my name in upper-case letters...What that does, when you use uppercase letters, it signifies that you are a state-created entity. In other words...you're not a living human being, you're a corporation. And I was disputing that fact by this affidavit."
Uh, okay. And that stuff about not being a U.S. citizen?

Darnell offers this clear, riddle-free response:
"There is a definition of the United States...the specific definition of that is Washington, D.C. and Guam and some of the holdings of the United States -- I think it's a 17-mile radius, if I remember correctly, around the capital: there's a definition that says that that's what the United States is, and I am clarifying that that is not the case. I do not live there."

Specifically, Darnell lives in Allen, Texas, which has been home base for a multitude of multilevel-marketing companies he's been part of since graduating with a degree in sociology/psychology from Texas Tech in 1980. On the shorter side, with dark-brown hair he wears long in the back, the 52-year-old Darnell has a warm, friendly drawl that no doubt helps sell Advantage Conferences.

And here's a good time to explain exactly what Advantage Conferences is. According to its web site, it's "a higher-learning educational products company that helps individuals on a massive scale improve their thinking as regards 'wealth.'" In the company's online flash presentation, Darnell claims that Advantage's business model is a unique, time-tested formula sculpted by brilliant marketing minds over many years.

"We are federally protected with the official trademark on this type of compensation...so we are the players in this particular kind of compensation," he says.

Well, actually, they're not. There is no federally protected trademark on this business plan, which Darnell calls "reverse margin" and a bunch of other things. Others call it by other names such as "pyramid" or "Aussie 2-Up."

Advantage's products include business books and CDs, but the flagship is the Millionaire Mindset Conference.
Here's how it works: Once Bob pays $10,000 to go to the Millionaire Mindset Conference, he is considered an Advantage "rep." Bob is qualified to make $7,000 off of each person he recruits at the $10,000 level. But that commission doesn't kick in until the third person he recruits. The commissions for the first two go to a person above Bob (hence "Aussie 2-Up").

You can join Advantage for $60, but you don't get the conference at that level. Candidates are encouraged to join at the $10,000 level. This allows them to make the most money by "selling" the conference.

In the flash presentation, Darnell suggests that it's a waste of time for anyone to join at any level other than $10,000. He says that start-up cost is "a joke" when compared to the higher costs of buying a franchise restaurant. And what if a candidate balks at the entire concept?

"This is not for everybody. Most people want to stay where they're at in their mediocrity and their complacency," Darnell explains. But if you don't want to be mediocre, you will do whatever you can to pay that $10,000, even if you have to borrow it. And what of the perceived difficulty of getting your first three recruits? In one case, Darnell suggested that new recruits imagine a gun pointed at their kids' heads, and that their lives depend on getting those recruits. Under those circumstances, anyone will come up with a plan.
But last November, Darnell ran into a problem. When he tried to hitch his remarkable business formula to the Dallas Better Business Bureau's post, the Bureau smelled a pyramid.

The Bureau asked Darnell for proof that ten Advantage reps had made at least $7,000. Darnell provided the names of ten people and no hard financial data, which the Bureau concluded did not constitute "proof." The Bureau also criticized Darnell's advertising claims. So Darnell rejoined the ranks of U.S. citizens and sued the BBB in the very court he previously claimed had no jurisdiction over him. He accused the Bureau of defamation, business disparagement and negligence, among other things.
In October 2005 the Bureau's online report of Advantage included the following: "This company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to its failure to modify, substantiate or discontinue advertising; concerning copyright and trademark protection claims; earnings; and evidence that the company primarily engages in promoting a pyramid scheme."
In his lawsuit, Darnell accused the Bureau of defamation. In its response to the suit, the Bureau stated: "Not only did the BBB have 'evidence' that [Advantage] is primarily engaged in promoting a pyramid scheme, but that evidence is overwhelming...Any claim by [Advantage] that commissions are paid only on 'sales' of the conference is nothing more than form over substance. These sales occur only inside the pyramid."

The Bureau's response also states: "Unlike Amway, whose compensation plan stressed that retail selling was essential, [Advantage] has no requirements whatsoever that a representative make any retail sales of the conference -- or any other product -- to non-participants...Not surprisingly, there has not been a single retail sale of the conference thus far; i.e., every attendee of the conference has been an [Advantage] representative interested in the income opportunity of large commission income."
And: "[Advantage] exerts tremendous psychological and economic pressure on a new representative to make the large initial purchase...Accordingly, AC itself describes the failure to purchase the conference as 'business suicide'...Playing upon greed and fear of losing a good deal is a common psychological tactic employed by pyramid schemes."

After suing the Bureau, Darnell gave a deposition and several affidavits explaining why Advantage was legitimate and how the Bureau did not have the facts.

Darnell stated in one affidavit: "[Advantage] is not a pyramid because no purchase of the conference or business opportunity is required to be able to sell conference tickets. To sell a conference ticket, a rep needs to pay a $59.95 independent contractor fee...Additionally, it is important to emphasize that [Advantage] screens out individuals who are looking for a get rich quick scheme and that there are many individuals who wanted to purchase a conference ticket and sell conference tickets who were not allowed to."

Advantage begins its highly selective qualification process with an online "interest form," which begins by asking a candidate if they are "serious about earning" $100,000, $250,000 or $500,000 a year. The candidate must then read a "Getting Started" overview touting Advantage's ingenious compensation plan. This overview states that many candidates fail the final selection plan, which is a personal interview with Darnell.

"We don't need 'flakes,' 'whiners' or 'projects' here," the overview states.
So if you're not a whining flake, and you're serious about earning a couple hundred grand this year, there's a very good chance you're Advantage material.

According to the Bureau's response, "Although [Advantage] claims that a recruit can qualify...by paying the application fee of $59.95 and 'selling' three conferences...no one qualifies in this fashion...[Advantage] questions a representative's commitment to building the business if the conference is not purchased."

A Dallas judge granted the Bureau's motion for summary judgment last October. Advantage was ordered to cover the Bureau's court costs.

The lawsuit, and Advantage as a whole, is fodder for discussion on watchdog web site www.scam.com. Since the forum also has its share of Advantage supporters, the Press posted a query to hear from those with both positive and negative experiences with the company.

Satisfied reps flooded an e-mail inbox with testimonials of how Advantage was a life-changing decision. They praised Darnell's integrity and the efficacy of the program. The name Jesus Christ was mentioned quite a bit. They talked about values, leadership, quality and God's will. In fact, they talked about everything except how much money they actually made by selling the program, or if they even had an income stream outside the program. While many of them ran web sites with names like "earn7kathome.com," when asked point-blank what they actually earned, it suddenly became rude to talk about money.

So where did Darnell get his training? Why should you feel comfortable giving him your $10,000? Let's take a look.
After graduating Texas Tech, Darnell toured with his gospel group, Dreamer. He was drawn into the business world of multilevel marketing. He cut his teeth at companies like Amway, and, he says, "I became fairly adept at compensation plans and actually wrote the compensation plan for a company called United Sciences of America in 1986. And that was a big program here in the Dallas area."

Carrollton-based United Sciences sold a nutritional plan that included something called the Fiber Energy Bar. By eating said bar and others in the United Sciences family, the company claimed, one could protect oneself against AIDS, cancer, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, PMS, acne and dandruff. This was one motherfucking candy bar.

The company relied on reps to sell the product, promising big rewards if they signed on with the United Sciences team. It hired William Shatner to narrate a promotional video. It paid New York Mets pitcher Gary Carter $50,000 to say in the tape, "Join me and hit a financial grand slam."

In January 1987 the Texas Attorney General's office sued United Sciences for allegedly running an illegal pyramid scheme. Attorneys general in New York and California filed similar suits. At the time United Sciences filed for bankruptcy, it claimed to have 140,000 reps. (In October 1987 a permanent injunction against United was issued in a Dallas district court. Under the terms of the agreed settlement, United did not admit any wrongdoing or liability.)

In his deposition for the Dallas BBB suit, Darnell said he also worked for Global Prosperity Group and NuSkin Enterprises.
Global Prosperity reps pitched $1,200 worth of tapes and a $6,200 conference (in "tropical locations") designed to teach recruits how to get rich via tax loopholes. By 1999, authorities in six states filed cease-and-desist orders against Global. Quatloos.com, a fraud watchdog web site run by California attorney Jay Adkisson, states: "The slimy-est of the slimy, Global Prosperity marks the absolute rock-bottom low of the MLM [multi-level-marketing] programs. There simply is no MLM program which is more of a scam, or has such a disreputable background, as Global Prosperity and its many equally-sordid spin-offs...Global Prosperity's reputation is so bad that other network marketers will often add a disclaimer to the bottom of their own spams and advertisements which says 'Not Global Prosperity.'" (Adkisson is an asset protection attorney who has testified as an expert witness before the U.S. Senate Finance Committee on matters of charity oversight and financial fraud.)

Global later operated under different names, including the Institute of Global Prosperity, whose offices were raided by the IRS in 2001. In 2003, two former Institute administrators pled guilty in federal court for tax evasion. (Darnell was only a representative with these companies and was not part of any legal actions.)

As for NuSkin, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission fined the nutritional supplements company $1.5 million in 1997 for violating an earlier order requiring the company to have "competent and reliable scientific evidence to support benefits claims for any product they sell." Under the terms of the payment, NuSkin did not admit any wrongdoing. Today, NuSkin is a thriving company, claiming 820,000 representatives. It also runs two charities which provide food and education for needy children worldwide.
Created by Mormons, NuSkin is based in Utah, which is ground zero for multilevel-marketing companies. Jeffrey Ressner examined Mormons' ties to nutritional supplement multilevel marketing for Time in October. "More than 100 supplement companies dot the terrain alongside I-15 snaking through Salt Lake City, Utah, generating $4 billion in annual sales -- four times the revenue of the state's more famous ski trade," he wrote. Such companies are popular not only among mainstream Mormons, but among their polygamous fundamentalist offshoots just across the border in Arizona as well. Enter Darnell's next business partners.

Darnell met his polygamous buds in 2000, when he was with an Arizona-based multilevel-marketing company called Tru Dynamics, which sold an "Executive Conference Experience." By 2001, Darnell and a handful of coworkers left Tru Dynamics and formed a company called Liberty League International, which sold its own conference. The head of Tru Dynamics sued the defectors in an Arizona court for conspiring to hijack Tru Dynamics' customers. The Liberty Leaguers filed a counterclaim accusing Tru Dynamics of breach of contract.

The suit was eventually dismissed and Liberty League went on to do huge sales. In May, the company paid $115,000 in a settlement with the Arizona Attorney General's office, amid customer complaints. A statement issued by the AG's office indicated that "the majority of participants did not earn enough to cover the amount they paid to buy the products sold to them."
The money, according to the statement, would be used to pay for "consumer education, attorneys' fees and investigation costs, and victim restitution to be determined at a later date."

While Liberty League promised not to make "unsubstantiated income claims" and to "refrain from making any false or deceptive statements in their marketing materials," the company did not admit any wrongdoing.

Darnell was only with Liberty League for a short period; he and his fellow defectors left that company to form their own company. His partners were residents of Colorado City, Arizona, founded by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In 2005, church leader Warren Jeffs was charged with sexually assaulting a minor and conspiracy to commit sexual misconduct by arranging a marriage between a 16-year-old girl and a 28-year-old man. When he fled Arizona, he made the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list and was arrested in Nevada last August. [Check out former Phoenix New Times writer John Dougherty's investigation into the FLDS: www.phoenixnewtimes.com/ Issues/current/polygamy/index.html; and Houston Press staff writer Keith Plocek's examination of Fundamentalists moving into West Texas: www.houstonpress.com/ Issues/2006-04-27/news/feature.html].

Incest, polygamy and statutory rape -- often condoned by and participated in by local authorities who were FLDS members -- are the norm in Colorado City, where it's believed that a man must have at least three wives to enter heaven. Thanks to inbreeding in the community, the Colorado City area has a high incidence of fumarase deficiency, an enzyme disorder that causes profound mental retardation and extreme epilepsy.

The web site also included testimonials from satisfied reps, although it was not disclosed that most of these reps were residents of Colorado City. (Cawley and Knudson did not return multiple messages.)

Before All-Star went bankrupt in 2005, it staked its reputation on Darnell, Cawley and a guy from Houston named Glenn Green. And just who is Glenn Green?

According to an old All-Star web site, he has "30 years experience in top-level management in Corporate America. His extensive background in major motion pictures and music industry brought him to the development of patented technology."
When the Press asked Green to elaborate on this impressive rsum, he had this to say: "If you're going to print a bunch of crap in the newspaper about me, it better be right."

And this: "You better be right, pal. I ain't threatening you. You just watch."
And, still: "Let me leave you with this: You write your article, just be sure it's right, okay?...I'm not threatening you by any means...but when you write your article, just be sure that your butt's covered. Because if it's not, and you put something in it that's not the case, I'm coming. And trust me, that's no threat."

Green says he got involved with All-Star when he was running a media company. He says Cawley contacted him and asked him to "build some marketing tools." He says he was never paid, which, he says, has to do with Darnell's abrupt departure from the company.

"They told me the reason I didn't get paid was because of Tim Darnell," Green says. Darnell denies owing Green any money.
So Green did what any shrewd businessman would do when a client reneges on a contract: he accepted the company's offer to be its chief executive officer. As Green says: "They offered me a position in the company 'cause I'm a decent business guy."
And just to accent how decent a businessman he is, he advised, "If you're investigating me, then you need to be talking to my attorneys, 'cause I'm going to sue your ass, okay? 'Cause you don't have anything to investigate me about, I will assure you."
For the most part, Green was right. There was nothing in his background worth investigating.

Except the ten-year sentence for theft in 1990, according to Harris County Court records. Green was released after one year. According to an affidavit by a Texas Department of Public Safety officer, the theft worked like this: Green gave an accomplice an American Express card in Green's ex-wife's name. The accomplice charged multiple purchases of $49.99 at a Chevron station, when "in fact, no merchandise had been bought." The accomplice then gave the cash to Green. During April and May 1990, the charges exceeded $20,000.

At the time Green was popped for that crime, he was on probation for forgery for two earlier charges out of Brazos County, according to Texas Department of Criminal Justice spokeswoman Michelle Lyons. He was sentenced to ten years for those, which he served concurrently with the Harris County sentencing.

Also falling short of the Glenn Green Investigative Worthiness Standard was the ten years deferred adjudication in 1993 for fraudulent transfer of a motor vehicle. According to the investigating officer's notes, part of the case record in Harris County Court, Green bought and sold over a dozen cars, promising to pay off the leases, when he had no authorization from the lenders.
All but one of the 20 associated charges were dropped. He was also ordered to pay $31,233 in restitution
Harris County court records also show that the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo sued Green and his wife, Starla, in 2002. The suit was for nonpayment of $107,000 Glenn and Starla bid on a champion steer and a grand champion barrow pig named Cowboy in the 1999 Rodeo auction.

"I know that the money spent here goes for a great cause," Green is quoted as saying in the Rodeo's press release.
Then Starla chimes in about the 17-year-old Brownfield Future Farmer of America who spent four hours a day after school tending to Cowboy: "[He's] very deserving. We were prepared to do what it took."

Everything, that is, except actually pay what they bid. A Harris County judge ordered the Greens to pay the full amount, plus legal fees.

Rodeo Vice President Leroy Shafer says the Greens never paid the money -- the largest debt of any one entity in the show's history. He says it was the first time in the Rodeo's history that a grand champion was involved in a bad purchase, and the first bad purchase of two champions in one year. (The highest bidder's money goes to whoever shows the animal, any charities the bidder earmarked money for, and the Rodeo's scholarship fund. Shafer says the Rodeo was able to pay the $25,000 promised to Cowboy's exhibitor, as well as the approximately $1,000 Green had earmarked for the Houston Women's Shelter.)
Green now works for a multilevel-marketing travel package company called Your Travel Biz.

As for Darnell, All-Star described him as "a nationally known master trainer in sales and marketing" and a lifelong business owner. It also stated that Darnell "brings unblemished integrity, character and work ethic to the company."

Texas is increasingly becoming a nexus for scams," says Robert FitzPatrick, founder of the North Carolina-based Pyramid Scheme Alert.

He's part of a small network of consumer watchdogs who believe state and federal authorities too often given scammers a free ride. Because FitzPatrick is an expert witness in the Dallas BBB lawsuit, he said he could not comment directly on Advantage Conferences. But he could talk about multilevel marketing and pyramids in general. He could also talk about Texas's anti-pyramid scheme law, which he says was crafted by the MLM lobby.

"It's written in such a way that it would appear that as long as the money is laundered through a product of some kind or a service, it won't meet the definition of a pyramid scheme," he says. He adds, "Whether you legalize a pyramid scheme or not, it will produce exactly the same result."

And that result is proven mathematically, he says. In the case of an Aussie 2-Up, the model has a built-in brick wall. The people at the top of the pyramid will make the dough; the competition will increase exponentially; and the base -- the human population -- will remain the same.

"You can only go 32 levels and you've exceeded the population of the Earth," FitzPatrick says. "That's every man, woman, child, baby, inmate in an insane asylum...the real number is far less than that."
FitzPatrick is a man who understands the headache-inducing, logic-bitch-slapping nature of "business opportunity" programs, because whether it's Advantage or any other "income opportunity," you wind up having the same conversation with the dogged rep.

FitzPatrick has both sides down pat:
"What is the real business that you're selling?"/"The business."/"What's the real product you're selling?"/"The business opportunity."/"Opportunity to do what?"/"To sell the business opportunity."
"So," he concludes, "the real product is: I'm making money; you can, too. Doing what? Making money telling people I'm making money."

But Tom Kelley, a spokesman for the Texas Attorney General's office, says the Texas anti-pyramid statute is clear: if there's more emphasis and energy on recruiting people rather than selling a product or service, there's a problem.

According to the statute, a pyramid scheme is "a plan or operation by which a person gives consideration for the opportunity to receive compensation that is derived primarily from a person's introductions of other persons to participate in the plan..."
The Direct Sellers Association echoes that belief. Spokeswoman Amy Robinson says you can determine a business's legitimacy by evaluating the compensation plan.

"If your compensation is not based on the sale of a product or service to the ultimate consumer, you're looking at something that is a fraud," she says. And, "if the money that you're paying to come into the business is really just going to your upline because they brought you into the business, that's a huge red flag."

But for FitzPatrick, frauds can still be perpetrated under the guise of selling products or services -- especially in Texas.
"You can let these predators run loose and engage in this deception of telling people this is an authentic business opportunity, when it is not. You can do that -- it won't change what happens to the consumers in Texas, though...In fact, it will probably result in more of them losing their money."

For FitzPatrick, "Most people don't grasp the math...it is a math trick, at the end of the day."
It's reminiscent of something Darnell says in his flash presentation:
"This is math. This is nothing more than how numbers work."

And then there's how the Book of Numbers works. God speaks to Moses clearly, face-to-face, without riddles. It's a pretty good book. Tim Darnell and his followers might want to give it another look.

What a great selling technique. I'm changing our entire marketing structure for 2007. I've got a conference call today with our managers and this is my plan.

"You walk into a prospects place of business, meet with the decision maker, having done your homework on the guy or gal. To close the deal you don't even have to sell. You simply assume the close by telling your prospect that you have an associate who has his wife and kids at gun point and unless he buys from you, yada, yada, yada...!!!!!!

Priceless, I should have thought of that track before. LOfreakingL!!!

I can't believe he would do that either considering all he'd been through with the lawsuit. I mean he should know the workings of an interview/article --they have to "research" their sujbect in order to do a good job. Craig is a very good writer and I should know because I'm a writer. I appreciate true talent.

It is such a great feeling. A wave of relief has swept over me since I saw this article--a sort of peace in knowing that this man is a complete con artist, not to mention a very evil man. I hope that makes sense?? I mean it helps to know that I would have never discovered any of these facts out on my own.

This board is a vital part of getting the truth out there and I applaud and commend all of you that have stood your ground and kept the flames burning. It is because of you that so many will now see the fraud of Advantage Conferences and avoid all contact with them...at least I hope they do!

It's time to renew with Advantage Conferences.

The renewal fee is like $40 or $50. My guess is that the number of members will drop considerable. It won't be easy for a lot of people to let go since they invested (sorry, AC doesn't like that word) over $10,000.

It's a shame that a lot of them lost well over $10,000 because they also blew thousands in advertising dollars.

Out of over 500 people, it would surprise me if over 3-5 people are making money on it. If people consider the advertising expense, it would very likely wouldn't be much more than that.

After the renewal period, my guess is that membership goes down below 100. The ones that renew are just hoping that they can somehow recoup their lost money. They should just do like me and realize they'll never see the thousands of dollars they blew on this scam.

    WOW

    WOW

    WOW

    I am SavedByGod.

I have been considering AC for several months and have given much thought to being an AC Rep. I had completed the three "simple" steps and actually went to the bank, got the cashiers check, and had completed the enrollment application. All I needed was my wife's signature as a co-applicant and the check was going fed ex straight to AC's corporate headquarters. I prayed all the way home from work for the Lord to give me a sign if this was the right thing to do.

Don't ask me why but I had a sick feeling in my stomach when I got home and was about to ask my wife for her signature. I jumped online and found this AWESOME thread. I spent about 5 hours last night reading all the comments posted here about AC. God had given me the sign I was looking for. :)

Being raised in a Christian home I felt that this was the perfect opportunity for a home based business based around God. I had not been going to church much anymore and I thought that this company would be the fit I needed to bring me back to God and would allow me the free time so much discussed by AC to spend with my 3 young daughters. I work about 60 hours a week and thought this would be perfect for allowing me to be with my children and earn "BIG BUCKS" as promised by AC.

I would like to personally thank all those who have posted here on this thread about what a crook this Tim and Jack guy really are. Especially SBM, WYK, CID, and HBG for all your feedback and investigation into AC. I pray for those individuals out there who have been tricked by AC into believing that this "God centered" company would stand by them and "mentor" them. It appears that too many people have been "mentored" straight to Tim and Jacks bank account. I find it utterly repulsive that they would use the teachings of the Bible to swindle good honest people out of their money.

Tim and Jack - I still have my $9,995.00 cashiers check and it WILL be going back into MY bank account and NOT yours.

I thank the Lord for giving me my conscience and intuition, that gut feeling, to make the correct decision.

    I am SavedByGod.

The Third Affidavit of Tim Darnell is summarized and we discuss the BBB's brilliant Summary Judgment Motion that won the case:

Scumbag and liar Jack Weinzierl is back as Shining Light:
Wishyouknew 01-27-2007 12:41 AM Re: Advantage Conferences BS (Merged)

    Shininglight,

There is no need to cut and past things from the website. We have already read them. We have already reviewed the stupid Testimonials.

Testimonials are a joke of a way to market trust. Of course these fools will say something positive. They are trying to get their $10,000 back!

This does seem like Jack W. Like last time you pick and choose who you repsond to in your post.

Is Scam.com costing you money?? Not able to make the lease payments on your Hummer?

Obviously others believe what we say.. They have logged on and Thanked us for preventing them from wasting their money. They have vowed that WE were sent by god. What about the testimonials we have from those who have logged on scam.com??

Also, you can get Christian Mentoring for FREE at many local churchs.. Again, no need to pay $10,000 for it! And the mentors at church actually have a Theological Degree, unlike Tim Darnell and many of the others...

Can people make mistakes in their past? Of course, but I have witnessed nothing but incredible christ-centered leadership from Tim Darnell and those involved at AC. I am sorry we have a difference of opinion there. Too bad you were not on a the 2 hours of recorded testimonials this past week. These were for no one to see, not for marketing, but just to share from people's hearts what the ongoing mentoring has meant in people's lives.

If you are getting ongoing entrepreneurial mentoring at your local church Monday through Saturday, praise the Lord. I have yet to see a church focus on the marketplace in this fashion, but you may be blessed there.

So sad that you and others here do not get that. Truth and light always win and the battle is not fought on this board, that is for sure. Do you really think that a person would dedicate his life to a prison ministry, spending hours getting the Messenger out every week to 8,000 or so, sending Bibles to Muslims and others who accept Christ through the site, and then give away most of the commissions to the field, is in this to make a quick buck. Please. Think about it. This business could make several times more, not taking a bold stance for Christ. I saw your post about not even reading the Messenger from yesterday. I pray that the Holy Spirit convicts you to not only read it, but to learn from it. It direct applies to many of the folks on this forum.

So the testimonials from dozens of people involved in the business are "stupid" but the posts on this site from folk hiding behind a screen name are intelligent and the truth. Good luck to you on that.

I have 8 IPs addresses specifically from folks coming from scam.com since 1-21-07. I had them ready to post and I knew that SBM and others would just get me banned if I posted those.

If folks think they can just hide behind a screen name with no accountability, you are mistaken. We can look at Jack and AC's ACtestimonials.com site logs to track every incoming clicked upon link and tie it with the time just before and after a post. Yes, IPs can be looked up and you can do a search on IP lookup if you care to.

If you would like those IPs privately to see if I am bluffing, please private message me. This is no threat, it is just facts. If you are going to blast and attack folks simply because you do not agree with them or their products and you cross the line legally which many have here, there is accountability. Have a wonderful weekend.

Oooh. Is big bad wacko jacko and timmy boy going to sue us for exposing their lies? Maybe they'll get lucky and get Judge Murphy again!! Which brings up an interesting point, SL, you haven't once brought up the very public outcome of the "iron-clad" BBB lawsuit. Now remind us all again how that turned out... Oh, that's right AC LOST and has now been ordered to pay all the court and legal fees. Why didn't "truth and light" win out on that one. Oh wait, IT DID!!! Or did Judge Murphy have an agenda from Day #1 just like Craig from the Houston Press?

Hmm... It seems like SBD used to always say things like "I'll be praying for you on that" and "good luck to you on that" - very similar writing style to Shining Light. Kind of hypocritical don't ya think blasting the rest of us for "hiding behind our screen names". At least we're not changing ours to try to pretend to be someone else after you were outed on your last screen name. Good luck to you on that and I'll be praying for you on that also.
ShiningLight 01-27-2007 03:11 AM Re: Advantage Conferences BS (Merged)

TX Fan, the BBB was the defendant on that case and as you all should know, the defendant is innocent until proven otherwise. I guess the case was not proveable there, even though many believe the BBB was mistaken. A win or loss in that case is such a non-issue. One can look through the posts on this thread and see where folks have crossed the legal line. If people think there is no accountability they are mistaken. We have tons of us who do not hide behind screen names at http://actestimonials.com and publicly elsewhere on our own sites and blogs. I will gladly share my information if all the bashers do here publicly.

Oh, and TX fan, I do pray for those who persecute others. I also walk by faith. So good and true:

I know personally that they experienced all kind of ridicule, because I get it every day. Proclaim your faith in Jesus in a public forum and see what happens! Hardly a day passes that I’m not accosted in print (newspaper, e-mails, blogs, etc.) by someone proclaiming how bad a person I am or how stupid I am for doing what I do, especially proclaiming the name of Jesus in the marketplace.

Articles come out daily that contain slander, accusation, and some of the most preposterous lies I could ever imagine. But I’m not complaining. I am in no way guided by the roaring lions of the accuser / the enemy (see Hebrews 11:33-38). Why? Simply because I’m guided “BY FAITH”. I’m not guided by circumstances or what other people think about me. And I’m certainly not guided by fear – no, faith is the compass, and 100% trust is the fuel that carries us through another day in full expectation of VICTORY!
Jack Weinzierl comes on under his own name at the end of the page bragging, " I love and respect Tim Darnell." His long and twisted diatribe rivals Gone With the Wind for its lack of brevity.Again, I ask what does Darnell have on scammer Jack???? Doesn't Jack look especially smarmy making endless lawsuit threats and trying to smoke out the posters on that thread???

Is Weinzierl going to make up more stories of me stalking him? Is he going to make more bogus police reports and find others that will join him in doing so as Tim has with Vincent Wright in order to harass my family still more? When will this Satanic Trinity finally end its reign of terror?

And, now we have Jack on under his own name loudly singing his own praises:

It looks like to me, the only reason you are posting under your own name is so you can sing your own praises. Since you are always so quick to quote Scriptures, here's one for you: Proverbs 8:13 "To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech."

If you're not debating us then what do you call it?

If that's not the pot calling the kettle black. All you have done in your posts is to attack and put-down everyone on here who disagrees with you. Even those who try to have a civil conversation with you, you find some reason not to answer their questions legitimately.

So are you saying that his info about all of timmy's past adventures are false. Most of his article can be backed up by public record. Just because you do not like his writing style does not change the facts being true.

I love how the only verses you seem to quote are the "prosperity verses". I (and I know many others on this board) actually study ALL of God's Word and not the "pick and choose" gospel you so obviously follow.

Where were all these "hundreds" when timmy was ordered in a court of law to reveal the names of those who had been successful in AC?

More of your "prosperity gospel". Yes, this is an awesome promise from God. However, it does not only refer to financial prosperity. It is also one of the most often misused verses in the Bible. My Bible is my most prized possession and I will not sit back while you quote it out of context and use it to "beat up" those you see as inferior to you.

I was also amazed to see he did register the name Reverse Margin back in 2003.. I found this weird..
I would like to take a crack at the fine points you made. Advantage Conferences was trademarked because Timmy boy had no alternative. The Better Business Buraeu and the scambusters here had called him on his lies and misrepresentations on his webpages. Tim Darnell claims it was first used in June 2003. That would be right around the time All-Star Entrepreneur began to founder like the Titanic.

The Reverse Margin was used for his All-Star Entrepreneur business and he claims first use in early 1999. Which means he registered it in his own name and used it even before All-Star was up and running. Also note how many catch phrases he brought to AC with him.

    COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
The All-Star Compensation Plan is simple, yet very powerful. All-Star has chosen the Ingenious Reverse MarginTM Business Model for several reasons:

One-Time Qualification: To become an F101 Mentor and/or and M101 Mentor, you must make three sales, of which one can be your own product purchase. During your training process, the profit from your first two training sales will be split equally between you and your Mentor. Your goal is to become a Mentor as quickly as possible; here you make the total profit from any direct sales you now make of the F101 and/or the M101. This Mentor status is lifetime as long as simple Mentor requirements are observed.

Profit Paid Bi-Monthly: Customers make payments for products to All-Star Entrepreneur for the full retail amount, and commissions are paid to Enrollers and Mentors bi-monthly. (Payment dates are the 15th and the 30th of each month.)

No Inventory Required: Products are shipped directly to customers from the All-Star Fulfillment Center, and Mentors are not required to inventory product.

50% to 67% Profit Margins: The Reverse MarginTM concept allocates 100% of the profit on each direct sale to a Mentor, and 50% of the profit on each training sale to a Mentor and to an Enroller respectively.

Number of Associates: The All-Star Entrepreneur Reverse MarginTM concept can create a significant income by introducing only a few qualified people to the business, unlike Multi-Level Marketing, which requires an individual to enroll hundreds and thousands of distributors in order to create a similar income.
Tim Darnell claims the Millionaire Mindset Conference logo was first used in commerce in January 2005---an outright lie as it was used by All-Star Entrepreneur which was founded by Tim Darnell in Sept. 2001.

I remember Advantage Conferences auto responder letters Timmy wrote promising more income in a month than one used to make in a year. Morph the same scam and lies over and over and emptying people's pockets until the determined scambusters exposed these lying frauds! I think Jack and Timmy are shut down for good!!!

Re: Scam Thread - Advantage Conferences / Tim Darnell (Financial Planner from Allen, TX) / Jack Weinzierl

Soapboxmom 02-05-2007 06:48 PM Re: Advantage Conferences BS (Merged)

    Jacko's latest press release:

Jack Weinzierl, Founder of OneOasis.com, is Seeking Entrepreneurs for His Expanding International Advantage Conferences Marketplace Ministry Team

Flower Mound, TX (PRWEB) January 18, 2007 -- Jack Weinzierl, President and Founder of OneOasis.com from Flower Mound, Texas, is seeking Entrepreneurs for his expanding International Advantage Conferences marketplace ministry. Jack launched his Advantage Conferences marketplace ministry two years ago after being the president and owner of a medical device company and a network marketing firm. Jack has earned in excess of $762,245.50 with Advantage Conferences as an Independent Representative.
Jacko, you are such a silly litttle man. You and your recruits are not entrepreneurs. You, Jack, are selling Tim's bogus conferences. Your recruits are just lining your pockets with their own conference purchase and the majority are not selling enough to ever qualify, so they are out 10 grand +.

Does the bogus title of president turn you on? Are you in charge of your own converted bathroom office like Timmy? Do you run around waving your official toilet brush?

You are the only AC "stud" whose earnings are being paraded around. According to Timmy boy in his Sept. 2006 Affidavit only 5 or 6 were making the promised $21,000 (as in make $7000 Over and Over and Over Again!) So, Jack, why don't you post the earnings tables for your reps?

"What is most important is that you believe in and are passionate about the product you're representing. I decided to partner with Advantage Conferences 2 years ago, as the business focused on Christian entrepreneurial mentoring, which is important," he continued. Jack had evaluated over 110 network marketing companies before deciding to partner with Advantage Conferences. "I really needed a business that was based on a strong biblical foundation instead of the new age content being taught in many network marketing companies," stated Jack.
What is this product that Jack is so passionate about? Ongoing Christian Entrepreneurial Mentoring.
Jack, successful companies can be run with honesty and integrity, without religion in the mix. A biblical foundation is not a part of any major corporations structure.

Solomon states in Proverbs, "He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who cherishes understanding prospers." He also says, "Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed". Those two verses are powerful, yet only a small example of wisdom found in the Word of God - teaching that is more relevant today than ever. Advantage Conferences is a dynamic marketplace ministry that provides ongoing Christ-centered Mentoring for entrepreneurs and business owners, as well as training for corporate employees.
If this information was so profound how come Tim Darnell went to numerous Millionaire Mindset Conferences with his previous scam All-Star Entrepreneur and didn't benefit at all. All-Star went bankrupt and Timmy boy is still in a Fox and Jacobs starter house with a repoed Jaguar on the county records. Advantage conferences is virtually the same scam with the only real difference being the religious twist.

Now, what corporations are paying losing scammer Tim Darnell to train their employees? We are still waiting for names, Jack, and don't tell us who these hired trainers have worked with before. We want to know specifically what companies have hired Timmy.

Weekly Tele-Mentoring calls, powerful recorded audio and DVD packages, and profound Seminars and Conferences effectively help individuals optimize their business and personal lives. The trainings, conducted by Advantage Conferences Founder and Author, Tim Darnell, along with dozens of highly successful and professional Christian Millionaires is rock-solid mentoring that is providing life-changing impact for hundreds of Advantage Conferences clients on an ongoing basis.
If these conferences are so powerful how is it your only business, Jack, is selling this bogus conference and attached opportunity? Why are you not running any other real business? Why don't you clowns disclose Tim's true net worth? I will bet he ain't no millionaire at all.

"But it isn't just having a great product that matters," he said. "You've got to be committed to it as a business. This network marketing business is not a get-rich-quick scheme. I tell people that every chance I get. This is a building process; it is a 5 to10 year plan, and if you're willing to put some time and effort into it, you can do great."
...drive to realistically earn a mid-6 to 7 figure income in the next 18 months...
Yes, I would like to find out more about earning $7,000 on an ongoing basis! ......
Yes, I am serious about earning
    $100,000 plus this year
    $250,000 plus this year
    $500,000 plus this year
    $1,000,000 plus this year......

You must be expecting to make at least $100,000 or more your first year.
You sure have changed your tune scammer!

But Jack Weinzierl conducts his business a little differently than most network marketers.

"I'm really not a salesman. I am terrible at closing. I just don't do it. I've been in the business long enough to learn almost everything you shouldn't do, so when I'm talking to someone about getting into the business, I really try to scare them out of it. And a few people decide it isn't for them. But if someone is considering it, I'll tell them to think about it for a few days. Pray about it with their spouse. It can be a very lucrative business opportunity. But anything worth doing is worth prayerful consideration."
Must you post that same drivel over and over and over again? What devious selling tactics you use.

Jack also says his faith plays an important role in his business dealings.

"It used to be that people were hesitant to let their faith come to the forefront of their business," he said. "But really, I think it's ridiculous to separate one's faith from their business. We are walking our talk every day in our Christ-centered Advantage Conferences business and life."
Why, if thats true then you should happily honestly disclose your recruits earnings and honestly answer all the other legitimate questions posed here, lad. Care to tell us why the conference isn't scheduled and why you can't get a more enticing and exotic location than Dallas?

    About Advantage Conferences:

Advantage Conferences, based in Allen, Texas, is focused on providing Ongoing Mindset Mentoring for business professionals and entrepreneurs. Dynamic mentoring is delivered through a variety of excellent training products and is appropriate for all enterprising people and business owners. Powerful and stimulating, Advantage Conferences is the Company and Product that is effectively impacting lives world-wide.
There is certainly some impact when one loses their life savings or home because of you and Timmy boy!

    Soapboxmom
Jack treats us to numerous long diatribes of religious and other nonsensical drivel. Please see the link to page 54.

How pathetic!! Man, business must really be bad for you to stoop to advertising on the very web site that is exposing your scam for what it is! And don't try to justify it with your jibber jabber about "truth and light" and defending you scam's "honor". I hate to break it to you, but nobody cares about reading your endless posts about how great and wonderful you are. And you still haven't answered the question: Where was "truth and light" when the judge ruled against AC and for the BBB?
The thread continues with CuriousinDallas apologizing to Jack. Well, that is an ex rep of AC. Tim Darnell and likely Jack as well were threatening him and many others. The people at his church he had threatened were communicating with many other of Darnell's victims as well. CuriousinDallas was told by Tim that a lawsuit was in the works to silence him and all the other reps that had dared to speak the truth. Tim was in a veritable psychotic rage over his reps openly sharing the truth. Many Cease and Desist letters like this one went out. Not in the least businesslike, honest, Christian or professional in my book.

Tim Darnell and Jack Weinzierl threatening people and fabricating death threat and stalking allegations has completely backfired on them. The truth has a funny way of rearing its head!

Official Cease and Desist - Judy Sterling

You have bitten the hand that fed you, tried to help you, and totally trusted you, and you obviously have proven that you are not a person that can be trusted whatsoever. You are libeling (that is a major legal offense) the Company and me personally when you spout your poison and negativity to other Reps, Candidates, or anybody for that matter. I want to remind you that the last time this happened, we sued and won a 400K judgment in court; and the case was not nearly as well documented as yours will be. Several of your conversations have been recorded already, and we will put the word out for any and all Reps to record should you call.

If I hear a single other instance of your lambasting me and the Company you will hear from our Attorney, and the results will be very serious. There have been several reports of your slander, gross negativity, and "insider" reports; and you are hereby notified that your actions contain potentially grave consequences. Your slanderous discussions should be something you should not even remotely consider. I will take action and find it nauseating and reprehensible that you could accept checks from this office and harbor all of the darkness and misgivings you have at the same time. How two-faced can you possibly be? You are a user of people, Judy. This is a very serious warning to you about your tongue – it has and will cause you a ton of problems. You had best take this message seriously.

This message is confidential between Tim Darnell and Judy Sterling. The message or comments about this discussion is prohibited from being copied or posted anywhere for any reason whatsoever. Failure to observe non-disclosure of this message will be used as evidence in criminal or civil proceedings.

    Jack,

Here's a passage for you that is applicable: Proverbs 6:16-19 "There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to Him: haughty eyes (pride), a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers."

    Hmmm...

They’ll put down any person or company that says these millionaire concepts have value. Pretty amazing to me – it is a “broke, small-ball” arrogance that shields them from transformational information and contacts.

Amateurs don’t get it. They don’t value the instruction from, and personal interaction with accomplished, successful people who are willing to give very real information filled with corresponding value that, when acted upon, can translate into bigger dollars. To talk to an avowed employee who has never had anything but a job about paying any money for entrepreneurial coaching is a waste of time. They simply don’t get it, and unfortunately for them, their station in life will never change.

That stubbornness (pride really) to not recognize the value of coaching and connections is common. That’s why families experience generational mediocrity. Those same people will complain daily about their bad luck in life and their inability to make ends meet. They will always buy the cheapest items forever, never adding value to their life. That is what their parents did and their parents did before them. That’s all they know about buying – buy cheap. And all they know about making money is “get a job”. They insist on another man or corporation paying them, having to bow to their bosses’ most insignificant wishes and commands in exchange for “just get by” wages, long hours, and their sacred health benefits. What an amazingly bad choice – when freedom can be attained through business ownership - the proper opportunity, and consistent long-term work.

I choose free enterprise. I choose freedom. I choose hard work. I, and many others who “get it” choose being paid based on our own productivity, not the security of a regular, although ridiculously low, weekly “guaranteed” paycheck. Freedom can be attained and should be attained. God gave us the wherewithal and privilege to have it. To reject freedom is the greatest tragedy I’ve ever witnessed - a true, disastrous shame. But for those who will risk it - to bust our buns for years and finally attain that single thing – freedom - is the greatest lifetime reward a person can ever experience.
WHAT?!?! Jack, do you mean to tell me that any hard-working Christian, who does not subscribe to your entrepreneurial mentality is an "amateur" with a "broke, small-ball arrogance"? What about missionaries who sacrifice everything to spread the Gospel of Christ. They often have next to nothing. What about others in the ministry who often work for little pay because they do not place their value in money and material possessions? According to your post I guess that is just their "stubbornness and pride" getting in the way!

Again, since you're so quick to spout off your "prosperity gospel", here's another passage for you: Matthew 6:19-21,24 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also... No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money."

I will agree with one comment you made in your post - "To reject freedom is the greatest tragedy I've ever witnessed." However, I think our definitions of freedom differ immensely. I define freedom as the freedom from sin and death through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ - not through being a millionaire with all the worldly possessions that entails. Matthew 16:26 "What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?..."
Of course, we know the truth is that scammer Jack has been desperately scrounging for a Just Over Broke since 2008. Such an arrogant lying buffoon he is!

    Jack,

One of the main things I have a problem with is if all this "mentoring" and information is so "invaluable" and life changing then why is it priced out of reach of most Christians? How is this noble? You constantly talk about "truth and light". Well, the only truth I care about is from Jesus. You quoted a verse in one of your posts, but I want to include the verse prior to it to put it into the correct context. John 8:31-32, "To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, 'If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.' " See, it's not the message of some milllionaire Christian businessman that is going to set me free - only God's Word can do that. Christ shared this truth and offered it for FREE!! Every bit of wisdom and Christian mentoring I will ever need to know comes from the Bible - God's Word - not some $10,000 millionaire mindset conference. You're right, I will never see the value in the "millionaire mindset" conference because I only want "God's mindset" - which I can have for free!!
    1 Corinthians 9:18
What is my reward then? Truly that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.

Unfortunately for me, I joined AC and lost thousands of dollars like so many others......

I think he does a superb job of pointing out the tremendous cost involved in this scam. My thanks to you Deepsouth for sharing with us!

    To all AC Victims:

The Story that had told. Not going to live in FEAR any longer.

My Biggest Mistakes Came When I Forgot My Faith!
    Lowered my standards!
I was caught off guard getting involved with AC-Tim, Jack and Jim.

What really gets me is this:
Before the interview, had some words with Jack and he said:
" If you like I can go over the interview with you before you speak with Tim"
    which I declined.
After I had the Interview with Tim, I asked him this specific question:
"Tim is there ANYTHING that would hurt me after I sign up?"
    Tim said "NO"
I also said to Tim "I am a person that I if someone does me wrong, I will fight for the truth"

After I send in the Money:
( BTW the money I sent in were HARD COPY CHECKS and Tim only accepted
    Certified Funds__Credit Card Check__Money Order__Cashier's Check__E-Check__PayPal-
Payment under $1000.00 only (including The Financing Option) may be paid by Credit Card, please indicate your email address as we will invoice you through PayPal.

I tried to work the program with JWald Pay per Click, Sending Post Cards with Jack etc.
and received several complaints. I was asked to go to BBB site by a prospect.
I asked Tim about the Complaint's listed re: Copy Rights, Trademarks etc. on the BBB site and especially being a member of the BBB when none of them were true:

Tim's reply was: "I applied for membership and it is process "
To me it is like driving a car without a license, get stopped for speeding, the officer stops me asking for my license and I can tell the officer: "Officer I will get my license tomorrow and I am in process of getting my license. OK"

Because I told some of my prospects that AC was a member of the BBB and it was not true, I felt it was wrong I apologized to the most of my prospects and let Tim Darnell know that...

Than I received this email from Tim cc Tim's Attorney
I felt a threat, I felt that he was taking away my Rights under the first Amendment!

This notice serves as official notice to CEASE AND DESIST regarding all libelous statements to anyone whatsoever, and especially Advantage Conferences Reps and/or prospects.

For your own good, you should think very carefully about making, speaking, and/or sending out libelous letters or statements. It only takes one instance of libel to be indicted and the penalties are harsh and severe. By your threat, you have or are planning to send hundreds of letters of libel – a very bad idea. The last person who did that to me was issued a court mandated legal penalty of $405,000.00, the settlement of which they are now paying on a monthly basis for 20 plus years of their life.

If you insist on involving yourself in this type of activity, our Attorneys are poised to uncover the hard evidence of your libel against me personally and against our company, Advantage Conferences, and will act immediately. I advised them of your mental situation and that I have compassion for you personally; but that we are now in a position to not stand for any further ill-advised, adversarial and tortuous interference with our Company.

This is an OFFICIAL NOTICE PUBLISHED ON JANUARY 19, 2006 and will be retained as official documentation for possible court proceedings.

So I did file a complaint with the BBB. Testified under Subpoena for BBB in person NOT via Phone for several hour.

If it only helps one person, I feel I did my job.

My FAITH pulled me through the tough times in World War ll and my FAITH will pull me through again.

My entire life savings was blown on this ridiculous opportunity. I am concerned about my health also. I fully understand that is probably my fault as much as anyone's and I lost my FAITH! and put my full Trust in AC (so called Christian-based Co) and Tim . I do have a lot of support and encouragement every step of the way! Yes I am embarrassed.... but I feel the need to share this disaster with others so that they don't fall for it as well!

I literally cry myself to sleep . I knew then that I had been taken. And I felt worse because I had unknowingly conned a close friend of mine into being AC Rep. She could only afford a one day ticket...I was so sick, I vomited for days because of it. I returned the $500.00 commission I received from her to her and returned Tim's $31.25 to Tim which he also cashed. This alone made me feel that I had a ton of brick had been lifted off my shoulders.

PLEASE people.... beware of this scam. I have lost everything because of this opportunity, along with my poor decision making... my family left me for a while ...until they saw the light.

I feel the need to share this disaster story with others so that they don't fall for it as well!

Then the Houston Press was an eye opener - I was in shock! Thank you Craig!

    Good Lord.

Some of these stories are among the most horrific and heartrending I've come across.

It's no wonder that Weinzierl and Darnell specifically targeted Christian victims.

Anyone else and they both would have been done over with baseball bats years ago.

If it wasn't for the Christian "turn the other cheek" ethos, I shudder to think where the pair of snakes would be today.

    Victim of AC,

I am so sorry for your horrible experience and am so glad you posted it here. So many people are so blinded to just how wicked and evil Tim Darnell is. I would highly encourage you to also contact Tim's pastor at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church. For some reason, they have also been blinded by his lies and deception up to this point. I do believe however that if more people tell them of their personal experiences, they will finally see him for what he truly is and immediately remove him from his high profile positions in the church (ie. teaching a Bible Study class, singing in the choir...). You can reach them through their web site at www.cottonwoodcreek.org. Unfortunately, he is using these positions to entrap more unsuspecting Christians and it needs to stop.

I would also encourage any other reps out there who have had similar experiences to also contact Tim's pastor. You can be assured that it will be a safe avenue - no fear of Tim's threats of lawsuit. See the one thing Tim does not want is to look bad to his church pastoral staff.

I personally know of others Tim has tried to bully in a similar manner. The wording of your letter is almost identical to another that someone showed me in person. Unfortunately, the one I saw was even more threatening - to the point of being almost criminal. He is nothing more than a criminal bully who needs to be stopped!
Cottonwood Creek needs to protect their flock and send this demonic scammer who uses His Word to defraud the flock packing! Timmy drove off the Bonnema family, the family he threatened and others.

Ten years in the conference business?? That's a bold face lie!! Wouldn't that be construed as false advertising and actionable as such. I'm sure he's counting his stint in All-Star, but he can't have it both ways. When fighting the BBB he does not want to be associated with All-Star because they are out of business and it leaves a negative impression on the possible recruit, but for issues of credibility in longevity it's okay? Once again, another example of the master of manipulation and deception at work.

Here's some more passages for you timmy and jack: Matthew 7:15-16 "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them..."

I think Victim of AC gave us a great testimony of which kind of fruit tim is bearing!!
Most of the debt in All-Star Entrepreneur was accrued during Tim Darnell's watch as president at his home address. All-Star was tens of thousands in debt. Scammer Timmy never reported the $400,000.00 he alleged was embezzled on the bankruptcy, to the authorities who could have prosecuted it as a felony or sued to recover it even though he is a proven litigious goon. Timmy lied under oath to the Better Business Bureau and claimed he thought All-Star might still be in business as it was listed with the secretary of state. He knew damned well it was defunct and had been liquidated in chapter 13 because he made a claim for almost $8,000.00 in the chapter 7 bankruptcy.

    Jack,

Thank you for listening and hanging up the phone. It was RUDE! and certainly was the NOT Christian way.

, after the way you have treated me and bashed me and Tim in the past, I told you the last time you contacted me that was the last time that I would talk with you. I never brought you into this business, . You continue to want to blame others for where you are at. I am sorry for that.

Jack I told you how I felt - that is my right.
Had the problems be solved the Christian Way and AC gave back the money to the people that asked for it - where would AC be?? Yet AC chose which people get the refund. That is also NOT the Christian Way.

When I received the complaints, and ask you about it and you told me to "DELETE the email!"

Now you are making this up completely. Why would I say delete the email? You are sorely mistaken.

    Jack, what is this?
This was your response after I received the second complaint!

All you need to do is delete this person from your autoresponder which you have done. Tim used " member of the BBB.---This was NOT true!

Actually, this was well after you join AC and he used while his application was in and then they did not approve AC. This has nothing to do with your involvement with AC, .

If a person looks at two companies and one was a member of the BBB and the other was not, People seem to choose the one with the BBB. It is misrepresentation. It looks better for AC and gives them more credibility. Right?

Tim used federally trademarkeds on his products.--This was NOT true.

He used TMs where he thought they were in place. When confronted with these errors, he did what anyone would do, he removed those that needed to be removed. A trademark means nothing in this equation, but it is obvious who you are connected with.

Jack, It is still a lie according to the Bible.
If a person looks at two companies and people see those fed trade marks, It gives AC more credibility. Right? But it called misrepresentation.

Tim used Copyrights - This was Not true.

    Same answer as above.

    Tim Darnell says:
"Get the money somehow, use credit cards by the end of they month before the bill come you will have the money to pay it back." Tim said: " I used three credit cards to star one of my businesses :(using the phrase I’d heard Tim say) doing WHATEVER it takes.” Well Tim Darnell (I refinanced my home) and now losing it.
    ====
    Tim's statement at the conference
Re: income - "I want you to add a zero to the amt of money you are making now.
Example if you are making $4,000.00 per month add a zero to that which brings it $40,000.00 per month."

The Bible says : The borrower is a Slave to the Lender. Tim Darnell does not teach that.

, people always need to be resourceful in any business. We work with adults who know where they are at financially and we do not direct people to put themselves in peril.

Jack"Get the money somehow, use credit cards by the end of they month before the bill come you will have the money to pay it back." Tim stayed: " I used three credit cards to star one of my businesses :(using the phrase I’d heard Tim say) doing WHATEVER it takes.” Well Tim Darnell (I refinanced my home) and now losing it.
This is called directing people what to do.!!!!!

, the FU comments and worse truly were bad judgement on your part. Your personal attacks on me and this business are irresponsible.

Jack, I am a Christian and thought AC was a Christian-based Company. I put my TRUST in Tim and AC. - But using Christianity as a Marketing tool is WRONG.

If you would have spent 1/2 the time building a business over this past year, you would be much further ahead. The only way a person loses in this business is to quit, .

Jack, I spent $10,000.00 and spend $3000.00 on the paper click. I spent $600.00 on postcards which you suggested.etc or as Tim would say: " You have to step out of the BOX " Well, I did as you were suggesting on the conference call.

I asked for the refund because I feel I was done wrong. and yet I was denied by Tim and Yourself.
Why? because I am pointing out what I felt I was done wrong ??? and NOT Christian lke.

I returned the $500.00 check to my friend and returned the $31.35 check to Tim (which he cashed)
Why did I do that? I felt that I told my people that AC was a member of the BBB and turned out it was NOT true, It bothered me and shared it with a pastor we prayed about it and I RETURNRD it. That was the Christian way.

When you asked to contribute for TIM's Birthday, I immediately sent you all I had.

Yet on the scam site, SOAPBOXDAD stated that I never refinanced my home. which is a lie.

I am not doing this for myself. I am doing this for my grand children. I am denying them the basic thing that they enjoy like going to the soccer game, school events which all takes money.
I quess I''ll post this on the scam.com site.
We will keep you in our prayers.

    P.S.

This is what a paster sent me:

This is a destiny that GOD has for you.
GOD has given you a Super-Anointing.
He wants you to become the
vision that he has for you.

He say’s, “just keep your hand in my hand.”
“Give me your hand and I’ll pull up.”

GOD walks with you and he talks with you.
You were given a bigger vision.
You can't allow yourself to fall for lesser things.
These are things that would prevent or
detour you from your mission in life.
Gee, Jack, trying to snow this wonderful honest rep sure backfired, didn't it???
