This site is a scam. https://idscheme.uk/ The real site you need if you are applying for a UK Citizen Card is https://www.citizencard.com/

The scam was originally designed to fool young people who needed proof of age to get into clubs and bars or buy certain products. It is now endangering old people who do not have a driving licence or an up to date passport for identification because there are a great many special offers in supermarkets and travel concessions for people over seventy and even better ones for the over eighties. I wanted a card to prove my age for some official sites as well as the offers so I was very pleased to learn about the proof of age card.

I signed up to the scam site thinking that it was legitimate and I gave them all the information which they requested. I gave them my full address, post code, telephone numbers, place of birth, DOB and my mother’s maiden name. I uploaded a passport sized photo and I asked a senior member of Wandsworth Borough Council, if he could guarantee my photo as being a genuine likeness and say that he had known me for over ten years. I gave the scammers enough information for them to drain my bank accounts. I paid them £14 through payPal and waited for my ID card to arrive

Fortunately somebody stole my wallet when I was waiting in a long queue in our local Post Office so I had cancelled all my bank cards before I contacted the real Citizen card by telephone. I reported it all to Action Fraud and the person on duty was amazed how legitimate the web site appeared to be. He told me to report what had happened to the Passport office and a credit reference agency preferred by the police than others (noddle)

Any help from RS members to make sure that the scam site no longer appears on the top of Google, would be deeply appreciated.
