U.S. Justice Department Official Serves HUGE 8 month prison sentence for $87 Million Scam - Keeps $60K guv pension too!

The guy with the white hair in this photo is 20 year Justice Department executive Edward Myles Chism Sr. who was the president of a small company with only 9 employees called American Financial Group. Because they had BIG clients and friends in Washington and Panama, the SEC did not force them to refund the $43 million stolen from Canadian investors and made no mention of the $20 million investor Manuel Noriega or that Chism's wife Teresita Tapia Chism was the personal banker, assistant, and translator for Noriega for 10 years. Chism obtained 9 letters from U.S. Federal judges recommending a light sentence. Why? Also see how this 20 year veteran official of the U.S. Justice Department serves a HUGE 8 month prison sentence for an $87 million swindle and not only does not give the money back but also gets to keep his $60K government pension! Former U.S. Justice Dept. Exec (Edward Chism) Serves 8 months For $87M Fraud! - WORLD Law Direct Forums. Just how much do you think this guy knows about the Justice Dept? Here is a hint http://americanfinancialgroupfraud.wordpress.com He also wrote a book about how he outsmarted Interpol and got to keep the sales proceeds from the book as well. He now lives in Panama in a home estimated to be worth $5 million. Remember boys and girls...Crime does not pay!

P.S. He served his 8 months at a luxury federal prison resort known as Eglin Air Force base, where he could play tennis and miniature golf every day, had cable TV, and weekend visits from his wife. There are no bars at this prison, at least not the ones you find in most jails and prisons.

What do you want to bet this is the reason why American Financial Group was set up in the first place... Here is the short version of the book written by the former AFG executive that the feds seized from him at gun-point. The story is not new but the characters are what make it interesting I think!
