How low can you go ????

Playing HYIP games is bad enough,

how low can you go, though, when charities and their supporters are directly targetted ???

    Where's a bloody policeman when you need him/her ??

Here's the latest HYIP being offered on the "usual suspect" HYIP forums:

    DISASTER CLUB

Complete with the usual B/S disclaimer:

This system is 100% legal, Refer to title 18, Section 1302 of the US Postal Laws, and the IRS code in section 2501-2504 and 2511.
    Well, surprise, surprise,

the website has a hidden owner:

and people wonder why forums like this exist and it's members get angry at times.

Curious that this scam quotes Title 18 Sect 1302, when if you read the statute: United States Code: Title 18,1302. Mailing lottery tickets or related matter | LII / Legal Information Institute it seems that the site taken in its totality DOES NOT comply...!
Is this the latest ploy? Throw out a code section in the hope that prospective suckers don't bother to read it?

It's not the "latest" ploy, by any means.

HYIPs having been throwing out that red herring for years, as have "cash gifters"

You'll find variations of the phrase used in fake disclaimers on autosurfs, HYIPs and cash gifting disclaimers all over the 'net.

Oh holy crapola! An MLM Charity Scam? Are you kidding me! That is beyond low. People in this country lose millions donating to phony charity scams every year. This just ups the level of it all. When I read of all the scams targeting the victims of Hati, I couldn't believe it. "Everyone joins for free. However! You must encourage others to join you and your group, and they are to do the same."
    Oh brother!

Re: How low can you go ????

    Hello all.

After seeing littleroundman's post, I went and checked up on this program. Lo and behold, one of the four principals was already in my files, with records of scams
from 2006 onwards. That was Suzette, one of the members of Belinda Grandberry's little tax fraud gang, and who formerly had her own webpage on
giftingislegal.org. One might note that her home phone number in Houston is the same number that the nhm4disaster "company" gives as contact information.

Now, it seems that both Suzette and her husband Lyndon are members of Connecting Us All (which as far as I'm concerned meets the legal definition of organized crime), in Grandberry's downline. Stokeley is also there, in the same downline, but he's physically located in Gainesville. As one of the officers of NewLife Radio Broadcast, which has the same postal address on 67th Place that A Life Aloft gave us above. He's also the head elder of a Seventh Day Adventist church in that city (I matched his phone number of a Disaster Club advertisement to the one given on the church site).

I may or may not have identified Antoinette as well, but Ann remains a mystery to me. On a rough guess, I would theorize that the three ladies are Stokeley's daughters - he's certainly old enough relative to Suzette to be her father.

    Hmmnn,

methinks it may be time for me to hunt down and post the names and addresses of the relevant state and federal anti charity fraud agencies.

I'll put them in this thread later on today so that anyone sufficiently interested can file complaints with the relevant authorities, complete with info.

HYIP ponzi games are one thing, this is down and out indefensible and reprehensible fraud

Prof, What I have found thus far, is Ann Catherine Hall in Gainsville and related to Stokeley Samuel Hall,
Antoinette Marie Hall, Annette L Hall, but I don't know what the "relationship" is, but they are relatives. Her age is also showing up as 75 years old (one other souce says 78 years old). Can this be an Aunt or a Mother or Grandmother or what? Small update.... one source says it might be Stokeley's sister. Also former address for her before Florida is CLEBURNE, TX.

At that age, sister or wife would be most likely.
Stokeley was 76 on CUA's member list, while Suzette was born in 1965 according to her marriage records.

It must be a sister or wife. Best source says she's 78. Did he live in Texas previously, because two sources I saw said she did.

That I don't know, A Life Aloft, but Suzette and the Antoinette I was initially suspecting of being the one are both in Texas.

Man, the plot thickens doesn't it? lol Ya gotta love this stuff! Cleburne is not all that far from Houston either, like maybe three hours drive. And did you see that house in Florida? What a dump! The property looks very uncared for as well.

To tell the truth, I haven't a clue how to see it.
I've only had a computer capable of viewing Youtube for the past 4 or 5 months; before that I was making do with something from the early 1990s.
