    Humanity Against Nuclear Power

This morning me email was spammed with messages from a group that I did not join. Someone joined for me (how can that be?) in Facebook. It looks to be something to not jump into. I removed myself but I see others buying into it.

I retired after 30 years in the nuclear industry and it has been a good life. I do not, nor do I expect to ever glow in the dark.

Well, sometimes a guardrail on an interstate reaches out and pulls me into it but I don't think I can blame it on nuclear. LOL

In spite of baylee's obviously magnetic personality, it is probably worth pointing out that there will be all manner of schemes set up to help Japān.

As with Haiti and other disasters, there will be some unscrupulous individuals trying to cash in on the human misery, mixed up among the legitimate efforts to raise funds for aid . So it is important to make sure that they are real charitable groups, before you send your funds. No legitimate group will mind you asking for their credentials, if you are in doubt.

You mean you have not been taken up by the little green guys and held hostage because of your magnetic personality!!?? We live within miles of a nuclear plant and refer to it as "The Emerald City".

It looks like there is quite a debate going on in FB about this subject and people wanting to close down nuclear plants. I am still staying out of it, we have to have several sources of energy and that is just one of them.
