One theory around here and on other sites was LC banned his own name.
Starred out his name to prevent Google searches.

That's brilliant!

They've un-banned Lenny over at scam.com and are trying to lure him back to post something.

Nobody seems to know who banned him in the first place or why.

Hence the conspiracy theory - Lenny banned himself!

As I said, brilliant!

Sounds like something he'd do.

The new reader might wonder about all the attention lavished on Lenny. Is he some kind of MLM god or something. Not really, just in his own mind he is.

Actually, the guy is a train wreck in perpetual motion. Always good for a chuckle. A real duffus. That is why we keep needling the little twerp.

Yeah I've seen lots of discussions about him. Being new to both forums I really had no idea what his deal was. He looks to me pretty knowledgeable about the whole MLM business from experience but I would never trust anything from him. Nothing against him, just doesn't look like a trustworthy person.

That's interesting because my understanding is that Len's handle "Mwave" on scam was not banned. I suppose he may have banned himself? But why would be do that?

According to GlimDropper, it was George who banned him.

I should add, I was sure someone told me in a PM that LC had banned his own name (********) as a way of "damage control" toward the end of his Admin position.
Sounds like a crazy idea, I know. I couldn't find the PM, but that was my understanding of what happened.
Another example is when Wil was a mod, he deleted all of his posts before leaving. Two different ways of trying to erase your history.

With his mensa level IQ, he must have figured that banning himself was a good way to avoid all the negatives associated with his name by having his name turn into *** ********.

Clemmy Lemons made another recent appearance on the "other side". His comments were humorous.

Well, I see nothing has changed here. Just a bunch of anonymous cowards who ignore everything you say, and instead respond with personal attacks.

What a complete waste of what could be such a great resource for exposing scams. I'm still hoping for the day those in power here will take control and allow it to achieve its potential to educate, inform, and warn, but that would require shooing away all the trolls. Since the trolls account for well more than half of all the activity, at least in this forum, and ad revenue is based on traffic, I'm not holding my breath.

If anyone here should ever, God forbid, have the courage to come out of hiding and discuss any of these issues live, with an audience, here's the conference line: 712-432-1000, 569-864-201# (the outgoing message about the last such discussion will be changed, obviously). Just let me know when you're ready.

You've done the MLM jumping thing several times, I was in diapers when you started doing MLM, and from the appearance of your home and where it's located your lifestyle is easily achievable for someone with a two-year degree in an employable field or with a certificate from a trade school. When I showed your home I wasn't necessarily implying that you live in squalor, but that your standard of living is lower-middle to middle class at best. With thirty-six years in the industry, and your resume, I expected a little more affluence:

People are buying your products and services because they think that they're getting expert advice. Meanwhile, You're no better off than someone who worked for 36 years at an average J-O-B. What exactly are you trying to teach people about MLM, recruiting, writing comp plans, etc? It's no different than the Amway/Quixtar Diamonds from around 2005 or so that were making $250k, but only doing $60k from their MLM distributorship. Getting MLM advice from someone who is clearly doing now better than the average joe is like hiring a certified personal trainer with no college from Gold's Gym to be the head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the NY Giants. You're no better than the BS artists that write guru books about flipping RE, making $$$ off of Tax Lien Certificates, things like that. 36 years is the "Four Year Career" nine times over, just sayin'

Google Earth does not do Lenny any favors. The writer of the post was being generous as to his social status. At least he didn't have his car in his yard or driveway up on blocks.

For someone who touts how "successful" he is in all of the MLM companies he has promoted, expert testimony, his client list, etc., his home doesn't reflect any of it. I have seen burger flippers at Mickey "D's" with nicer homes. Of course he is divorced and I don't know his financial obligations to the ex or if there are any children, but that could be part of it. If like a lot of divorces, the ex gets the nice house and you have to find the cheapest home/apartment to live.

It just goes to show you that no matter how high of an IQ you have does not equate to living in luxury or being in the upper-middle class or higher class.
