Sports Illustrated Play is exploding and will continue to do so as most of the customers fleeing Jevin are going to their software platform and I have heard great things about it.

Re: Jevin Inc. / Dan Ptak / Online Sports Organization Management Software / David Arciniega / Garland Soccer / Chargeba

A 12th league out money contacted me today. An attorney on that board claims that they are owed about $50,000.00 from spring registration. Jevin is clearly imploding and David Arciniega continues to force Garland Soccer to use this software even though it is obviously a tremendously risky proposition. It seems quite clear that Jevin is operating as a ponzi. Existing customers are having a hellacious time getting their money, so it is quite possible that new customers or other existing customers money is being used to pay the oldest debts. I checked online and the number of customers is obviously shrinking rapidly, so the complete collapse of this deal is likely imminent.

I advised those out money to do chargebacks as that has been a successful strategy for other groups that couldn't get their money. It is always advisable to file a police report, but as it appears Jevin doesn't have the money to pay and collection is difficult in Texas with litigation (that can run hundreds of thousands of dollars) that chargebacks are a good option and may be the only way to get any funds back.

When the chargeback bonanza ends if not sooner, the credit card companies will stop Jevin from being able to even accept credit card payments and those companies may file litigation or criminal charges themselves to cover the chargebacks that Jevin does not have funds to cover in its accounts. The credit card companies / payment processors / banks are going to be out a bundle due to Dan Ptak and his Jevin debacle. This circus show is just beginning!

Jevin has boatloads of garbage links up and coaches contact information is still publicly splattered all over the internet. There are still pages up for Jevin customers that were fighting to get their money. Hilariously, the group that was owed over 30 grand and that filed reports with the police and FBI still has a page up and I will guarantee that they will never use Jevin again. All smokes and mirrors! Caveat Emptor!

Re: Jevin Inc. / Dan Ptak / Online Sports Organization Management Software / David Arciniega / Garland Soccer / Chargeba

Brian Stracke, a Jevin salesman, sent out the following drivel to the remaining customers:
    The Truth…..

It appears that one of our competitors has joined our cyber stalking in circulating false and misleading information regarding Jevin and its employees. Thank you to the dozens of you who sent us notes stating your disbelief at the statements and your disappointment that a competitor would invite themselves to the party. One of you said it better than we could ever have….”it is clear that they realize they cannot compete with Jevin on a feature, product, or support basis…..so their only hope is to discredit the company”
Below is a list of false and misleading statements made by others that you have forwarded to us with the actual truth about each. Please let us know if you have questions or would like to discuss any of these items.
    · False Statement #1 “Jevin is going out of business” - Jevin is financially stable. In fact, Jevin has grown quite rapidly and is currently in the middle of hiring several additional people.

    · False Statement #2 “Jevin owes a Utah organization $40K…I saw it on TV” - The “Utah issue” started as a clerical error that was blown out of proportion by the Utah organization. The claims of stolen funds are baseless. Jevin has approached the media outlets about correcting the facts but they have shown no interest. Jevin’s attorney is dealing directly with the Utah organization to recover the funds owed to Jevin as the result of a coordinated fraudulent activity.
If Jevin is financially stable why did 12 groups contact me saying they couldn't get their spring registration money? That is between $2,000.00 to $50,000.00 these groups were having trouble getting. The total was around 300 grand. Many have been paid. Some groups initiated chargebacks. Police reports were filed in Utah and in Allen, TX. The FBI received complaints.

The "Utah issue" is not characterized at all the way I heard the story from multiple sources involved. They had spent two months trying to get their money.

Wasatch football league unsure about season after money disappears | KUTV

Youth football league says company collected about $45,000 in fees but won’t give them the money | fox13now.com

Sky View Youth Football league accuses software firm of misplacing $45K | The Herald Journal | news.hjnews.com

Sky View Youth Football's missing registration fees under police investigation - CacheValleyDaily.com : Local News

I spoke to 2 of the reporters directly and talked to the other media outlets news tip people. All of them now have a copy of Dan Ptak's lie-filled letter. After several days of leaving messages, I caught a representative from the Sky View Football program in the story that made the time to update me on this fiasco in early July. Ptak had never informed Sky View (Utah issue) that he had paid them nor did he bother to contact the media outlets and inform them so that they could update their stories on this fiasco. They had all been chasing Ptak down.

The football group had filed a formal report with the police and it was in fact being investigated. After they filed they heard nothing from Dan Ptak, and certainly never heard anything about any "offers for immediate resolution" as Ptak was bragging about in the magic letter from what I was told. They also instructed all of their parents to use the police report number to initiate chargebacks from what I understand. They had to spend money on legal fees as well. So, they spent two months in hell thanks entirely to Jevin. Now, it will get comical for Jevin as the company will have to accurately document the money involved in the chargebacks and probably pay more in fees to fix that huge mess. And, the football league at the time I talked to them had received no notification of over-payment yet either from what I was told. They noticed the payment of money owed entirely by accident and of course immediately closed that account and opened a new one as they are changing software providers.

So, the football league in Utah fought for weeks to get their money and there was no "coordinated fraudulent activity." It looks like the league had already gone to the police and was using that police report number to initiate chargebacks. Dan Ptak then overpaid their sister league by $7,000.00 and they had that, and then later the full payment from Jevin. Ptak finally paid them while the chargebacks were well underway. So, I hope the salesman has documentation to back up his version of the story!

Jevin is wildly successful to be sure. Garbage pages everywhere and vicious attacks on customers they couldn't pay as in the "Utah issue." Who would use a software provider like this?

Organization # 13 (for 2016 alone) has contacted me about having problems getting their registration money from Jevin. They claim that they are owed $15,000.00. Jevin is clearly in trouble. More reports with the police and chargebacks will likely be forthcoming.

This issue of money missing with no documentation provided to the board is in my lawsuit and if Dan Ptak and David Arciniega think they won't be turning over documents and have their depositions posted online, then they are in for a big surprise!

Re: Jevin Inc. / Dan Ptak / Online Sports Organization Management Software / David Arciniega / Garland Soccer / Chargeba

David Arciniega insisting on retaining Jevin Software was pure genius:

Funds mishap has Northeast little league struggling to play ball
According to Jevin, a freeze was placed on all the accounts the company has due to a youth football league in Utah demanding refunds.
That is now 14 organizations reporting late or missing payments since May of this year of 2 - 50 grand each and totaling well over $300,000.00.

It looks like the chargebacks have finally shut this scam down!

    NELL Fraud Recovery Fund

    Share
    Tweet
    259 shares

The Board of Directors of Northeast Little League is saddened to inform you that we have been the victim of fraud by our league management vendor. The fraud consists of all registration fees paid for the Fall baseball and softball seasons. Despite repeated demands, our vendor has refused to return the money that we need to keep our Organization alive and thriving.

Conversations with other leagues and the St. Petersburg police make clear that we should hold little hope that any funds will be recovered directly from our vendor.

Approximately 60% of our funds are derived from registration fees. NELL is in the rare situation of owning the facilities on 1st Street and we are responsible for all operating expenses related to the facility. Largely because of this fact, this is a potentially catastrophic loss - not just for our ability to fund the day to day operations of our league, but also for the necessary long term maintenance and other improvements we had hoped to make so our kids have a better place to play.

NELL has been able to operate for nearly 60 years not only because of the support of its families but also the support of the local community. It is in this spirit that we ask for any contribution you can make to help us keep the league thriving while we pursue all avenues to collect the money illegally withheld from NELL.

In closing, it is heartbreaking to have to bring this news, but we know the type of community we have and we will persevere through this crisis. Thank you for your support to the kids of NELL.

    Kindest Regards,

    NELL Board of Directors

PS: All donations to GoFundMe are tax deductible.
They can place the blame squarely on the shoulders of Garland Soccer President and NTSSA Board Member, David Arciniega. He has been hiding financial records from the board members and charity members for years. I filed a police report about missing money due to Jevin in 2013 and David Arciniega stopped the police from investigating and forced Garland Soccer to continue using Jevin.

David Arciniega's secreting documents and allowing the Jevin scam to go on unchecked has cost charities across the country tens of thousands of dollars. He must be removed immediately!

Re: Jevin Inc. / Dan Ptak / Online Sports Organization Management Software / David Arciniega / Garland Soccer / Chargeba

    St. Pete’s Northeast Little League missing $35,000 | WFLA.com

    T. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – It’s just two weeks into the fall baseball season and the Northeast Little League in St. Petersburg is finding itself in a financial slump. A sports management company in Allen, Texas called Jevin is holding back payments collected from fees. The payments amount to almost $35,000.

Parents are outraged. “I’ve spent many hours sweating in that concession stand, so it’s upsetting to say the least,” Kelly Ewert said.

The lack of funds is putting a real crimp on league activity. “We have almost 300 kids playing baseball here. And we owe thousands of dollars to local printers and T-shirt people and landscape people,” League President David Vann said.

8 On Your Side contacted the owner of Jevin. Dan Ptak said his credit card processor froze his account after parents at a Utah youth football program began asking for refunds.

“We’re trying to do some temporary short-term things and we’ve discussed that with the Northeast Little League board and treasurer. We’re kind of caught in the middle and at the mercy of the merchant bank releasing the funds,” Ptak said.

The Northeast Little League President isn’t buying that explanation. “It doesn’t really matter what their explanation is. I mean somewhere between Mr. Ptak and the credit card company, the funds are not here. And we have a league to run,” Vann said.

St. Petersburg Police don’t believe there is any criminal wrongdoing, however, the forwarded the complaint to authorities in Texas.

In the meantime, parents have started a GoFundMe account to pitch in.
Jevin / Ptak couldn't pay Utah and other leagues. They initiated chargebacks to get the money Jevin owed them as they are way too smart to waste their time in court. They used the police report numbers to get the chargebacks!

Jevin is now no longer able to accept credit card payments and can't pay out money either. My prediction that the chargebacks would shut down this scam seems to be coming to fruition.

League #15 reported to me today that they are owed 3 grand and when they heard about the chargebacks being the reason for the frozen accounts said to stick a fork in it. Jevin is done for!

ST PETERSBURG (FOX 13) - A local little league is nearly $40,000 in debt after an online company withheld their money.

Two weeks into the season, the Northeast Little League of St. Petersburg cannot access the registration fees parents paid online during the summer.

"We've received absolutely $0 in funds from all the parents that have paid the money for their kids to play baseball," said David Vann, President of the Northeast Little League. "We have local people who have printed our shirts that we owe money."
St. Pete little league waits to get $40,000 paid by parents

The team also uses registration money to pay property taxes and maintenance at their field on 45th Avenue North. Beginning in July, parents were told to pay their registration fees through an online service called Jevin, which the team has used since 2012.

Each time a parent registers, the company is supposed to transfer the money into the league account.

FOX 13 contacted Jevin and learned several parents, both locally and across the country, were charged twice during online registration.

After many of those parents contacted their banks about the charge, Jevin officials said it triggered a fraud investigation with Merchant Bank, who handles Jevin's money.

Jevin officials claim until the investigation ends, they cannot turn over funds.

"It's hard to explain to a 13-year-old who's told to do the right thing, always tell the truth,
and yet, I have to tell him that his little league was just robbed, basically," said parent Kelly Ewert.

Jevin officials could not give a time frame for when the money will be turned over to the teams. The Little League contacted St. Petersburg police, who have talked to Jevin officials. At this time, no crime has been committed, so no charges have been filed.

Jevin is also facing scrutiny from a youth football league in Utah, where about $45,000 in registration fees have also been withheld due to the banking issue, according to local affiliate FOX 13 Now.

Northeast Little League officials are concerned the money they have available will only support the team through Thanksgiving. They have launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to help keep the season going.

"All the uniforms have been distributed. We're playing baseball as if we have money, and we will continue to provide a season for the kids and the community," said Vann.

The chargebacks across the country are the issue. But Jevin double charging yet again after it happened in Garland in 2014 is beyond ridiculous!!!

Jevin traffic continues to plummet. Accounts being frozen, presumably due to tens of thousands of chargebacks, will most likely keep this scam shut down for good.

David Arciniega lying to the Garland Police in order to stop them from investigating in 2013 has hurt at least 15 other charities. The late and missing payments total $350,000.00. David Arciniega must be removed from all soccer activities immediately as he has a long history of putting money and kids in grave danger.

St. Petersburg Little League missing $35,000 in dues, blames company that collected them

    • By LaVendrick Smith, Times Staff Writer

    Monday, October 3, 2016 12:23pm

ST. PETERSBURG — For years, a youth baseball league has relied on a third-party company to help collect the fees families pay when registering their kids.

But board members from Northeast Little League noticed last week that the nearly $35,000 they say was paid never showed up in its account. They claim the vendor is improperly withholding the money and asked St. Petersburg police to investigate.
The Texas company that collected those fees is facing similar accusations from two other youth football leagues in Utah, according to a police report from a city there.
Now, two weeks into its fall season, the Northeast Little League is dipping into reserves and raising money to replace the dues paid, which pays for everything from uniforms and equipment to renting ballfields.

"The fact that we've received no money, that is a problem for us," said David Vann*, president of the Northeast league.

The league has used Jevin, a sports management software company, since 2012. Jevin says it helps youth and adult sports leagues manage aspects of their operations, from setting rosters and schedules, to collecting and dispersing registration fees.

Dan Ptak, president of the company, said this week that the issues in Utah and St. Petersburg are related. He said parents of children in a youth football league in northern Utah made similar claims recently and began seeking refunds of their registration fees through their credit card companies.

While he said he couldn't discuss details of the dispute, Ptak said the bank his company uses to handle the transactions put a hold on Jevin's account activity. And that has frozen disbursements to the Northeast Little League.

"Basically people submitted to their credit card company that they didn't get the goods or services that they paid for," Ptak said. "And (the bank) is still holding funds."
Through Jevin, Northeast parents register their kids for baseball, and the company takes 8 percent of the registration fee after it is processed before sending the remaining money back to the league. Vann said the Northeast league's agreement is that Jevin place registration fees into the league's account within 48 hours after a child registers.
"It's supposed to come to us frequently," he said.

Yet after the registration period ended a few weeks ago, the league noticed it hadn't received any of the $34,810.14 it said it was owed.

Registration fees account for 60 percent of the league's funding, Vann said, and without them, he fears the league will use up its reserves within a few months.
"The money has been basically taken from these parents," Vann said.

The league contacted the St. Petersburg Police Department and notified parents last week of the incident. Vann said the league has been told by St. Petersburg police that no crime happened in its jurisdiction, and because Jevin is based in Allen, Texas, it's up to the police department there to decide if there has been any wrongdoing.
St. Petersburg police spokeswoman Yolanda Fernandez confirmed that her agency received the complaint and referred the league to authorities in Texas.
A spokeswoman for the Allen Police Department in Texas, when asked Friday if her agency was investigating the Northeast league's complaints, said she couldn't find information on the issue.

The hold on the Jevin's account occurred when parents of players of the Sky View Youth Football League in Utah tried to recover registration payments this summer.
Brianne Young, Sky View's director, said Jevin didn't give her league its $45,000 in registration fees until two weeks after her league contacted law enforcement in late June, and after parents went to their banks and credit card companies to get the fees back.

Ptak was adamant that his company distributed Sky View's money on time and said it has blown the situation out of proportion.

Young said Ptak initially wired fees intended for Sky View into the account of another football league in Ogden, Utah. She said she learned that the Ogden league also was waiting for registration fees from Jevin. Before parents started filing refund requests to their credit card companies, Ptak gave excuses for not providing the money, such as having to deal with a family emergency or traveling out of town, Young told police.
"Whoever else has been given this runaround needs to stand up against him, so he can't keep doing it to other people," Young said. "These are kids. This is their money. I have kids who play football who earned their (money) to register. He is, in essence, misusing that."

The Smithfield Police Department in northern Utah investigated Sky View's complaint about Jevin and Ptak. In a report obtained by the Tampa Bay Times, the investigating officer said Ptak offered similar excuses that league officials said he had given them.
In the report, the Smithfield officer said Ptak wanted assurance that the money he mistakenly gave to the other league in Utah was accounted for before distributing Sky View's fees. The investigating officer ultimately concluded that the dispute was civil in nature.

Young and Northeast league officials said they fear that Jevin is improperly distributing to one league the money collected from families in other leagues. Ptak denied that. Ptak said he's not sure when his company's account will be unlocked and when the fees will be given to the Northeast Little League. He vowed Jevin is doing its best to resolve the situation.

"We're kind of caught in the middle of the issue with Northeast Little League," Ptak said. "Funds are being held by the merchant bank. If they don't give them to us, then we can't forward those on."

Brian McClintock, a spokesperson for Little League International, said cases like the Northeast league's don't come up often. The organization tries to caution local leagues to work with transparent companies. There isn't much the organization can do, however, when financial issues such as this arise.

"We do provide a lot of (educational) resources to them," McClintock said. "But ultimately, it is the responsibility of the local league when it comes to operations of this matter."

Meanwhile, Northeast Little League waits for its money.
On Tuesday, Vann stood in the outfield of one of the league's ballparks, coaching players on how to properly catch with their baseball mitts. He said he understands how the issue in Utah is affecting his league's wait for its money. It doesn't make the wait any less frustrating.

"That's really not a concern of ours," he said as he tossed a baseball to kids. "We paid our money, and we need our money back."

15 leagues fighting late or missing payments from Jevin in 2016 totaling $350,000.00 tells us that Jevin is in serious trouble and fear of it operating as a ponzi are not unfounded. In 2013 I was told by David Arciniega, President of Garland Soccer and buddy of Ptak, that Jevin was out $50,000.00 belonging to several charities due to Jevin's payment processor Corduro. We were told that Jevin had sued Corduro and that the North Texas State Soccer attorneys wanted it all kept hush hush. I filed a report with the Garland, TX police. David Arciniega lied to the police and claimed the missing money was just a simple "error in processing" and the police were blocked from investigating. Garland had to accept a discount from Jevin going forward to recoup our 8 grand as Dan Ptak's joke of a company couldn't get a loan for 8 grand. Arciniega swore that Jevin changing over to Chase bank would solve all the problems. Well, 350 grand in late and missing payments later, obviously that is a lie. Jevin never filed suit or a police report in 2013 or after, so we know for sure that Corduro in not responsible for the money woes, Jevin is simply sinking like the Titanic!!!

Please encourage every parent to initiate a chargeback with their credit card. They may reference a police report number. That is an almost guaranteed to get money owed and it leaves the credit card company to fight with Jevin. Dan Ptak runs Jevin out of his home in Allen, TX and as the law stands Jevin is likely uncollectable. The chargebacks are probably the reason that Dan Ptak is admitting to reporters that all of Jevin's accounts are frozen. Hopefully, more chargebacks will put an end to the Jevin scam for good.

St. Pete little league scrambling to raise $35,000 to pay for fall baseball season

Company claims fees owed league are "frozen"

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Northeast Little League in St. Petersburg uses Jevin Inc. to process their registration dues to streamline their fees and make it easier on parents. But, the latest registration fees paid by parents in July and processed by the company are holding $35,000 worth of fees hostage.

League President David Vann said they are supposed to get the funds in 3 days…So far, it has been more than 2 months.

“We'll be out of money in November,” Vann said. “There is no season in December and January so we will be upside down at that point.”
Vann said they have used Jevin since 2012.

“Until now, they were really good. We pay him for a service to use his software he runs the registration fee and sends us the money. Maybe he is giving our money to other people, we don't know. We've gotten none not a single dollar of the $35,000 that came from the fall registration fees.”

The league filed a report with the St. Petersburg Police Department. The department investigated but could not determine if a crime was committed. So at this point, the case is inactive.

The owner of Jevin, Daniel Ptak, told ABC Action News reporter Michael Paluska that his software management company were victims of a fraud after Ptak claimed someone tried to steal the registration fees collected.

“The bank froze our accounts,” Ptak said.

Ptak would not comment on the group that he says tried to defraud his company. So, there was no way for ABC Action News to search for a police report verifying his story.
The league plans to hold more boosters, and try and figure out a way to save their season. Some parents have paid the registration fee again. Vann asking parents to dispute the charges on their credit cards to recoup the losses, but that is a lenghty process and some parents paid with E-Checks, making it even more difficult to fight.
Monday’s game was canceled because of rain, parent Cheryl Matala hopes that is the only reason her son won’t be taking the field.

“It's hard, he is only seven. So, for something like this they don't understand that piece of it. And, if I have to say ‘there's no more baseball’ he is going to be devastated because he is excited to come, he is excited to play,” Matala said.

The league has started a GoFundMe account to help pay for the rest of their season.
Dan Ptak has had 15 groups that have had very late or missing payments totaling $350,000.00. The Utah group initiated chargebacks and several others were planning to do so as Jevin was not paying them what was owed. The fraud story is likely a complete lie. It looks like those chargebacks will end the Jevin scam for good after years of late payments and wild stories. The chargebacks explain all the Jevin accounts being frozen.

Correction. When I was counting the number of associations that had late or missing payments, I didn't include Ogden. They were in several newspaper articles and I had not been in contact with them personally, so that puts the count of organizations with late or missing payments at 16 and the total well over $350,000.00. Some of those have chargebacks in progress and are still fighting to get their money.

With so many groups across the country doing chargebacks, I believe the Jevin is a goner!

Terminated Processing Agreement and Closed Merchant Account

    July 17, 2015/ Chargebacks / 1 Comment

Merchant Accounts Are a Line of Credit

The first thing business owners need to understand is that a merchant account isn’t a depository account like a consumer checking or savings account......

There is always risk associated with any line of credit; merchant accounts are no exception. There are several high-risk situations that could happen in the period of time between the acquirer’s deposit in the merchant account and the cardholder’s payment. All of these situations would cause significant losses for the acquirer.

    • The merchant could go out of business.
    • Chargeback costs could exceed the account balance.
    • The merchant could engage in fraud, intentionally cheating customers and the bank.

Acquirers rightfully look after their own assets. If the bank suspects elevated risk brought about by a particular merchant, the safest option is to simply terminate the processing agreement and close the merchant account.
    Why Merchant Accounts Are Closed

A canceled merchant account usually results from one of three things:

    1. Suspicious Merchant Activity: There are several ways merchants might choose to breach the terms of their merchant processing agreement. This might include depositing transactions on behalf of another merchant or maintaining multiple merchant accounts (acquirers usually require merchants to refrain from simultaneously having active accounts with other acquirers).
    2. Fraud: If a merchant is committing fraud, the acquirer will understandably terminate the account. Examples of fraud include misusing credit card information, making fraudulent transactions, overcharging customers, not delivering merchandise and using misleading advertising.
    3. Chargebacks: Chargebacks, or forced credit card refunds, are the leading cause of terminated processing agreements.....

The majority of canceled merchant accounts are caused by excessive chargeback levels. The networks usually require merchants to keep their chargeback ratio below 1-2% (be sure to check the specifics regarding MasterCard chargeback thresholds and Visa chargeback thresholds).
However, it’s probable that a merchant account will be closed long before the card networks’ thresholds have been breached.....

Acquirers rightfully look after their own assets. If the bank suspects elevated risk brought about by a particular merchant, the safest option is to simply terminate the processing agreement and close the merchant account.
      Why Merchant Accounts Are Closed

It is important to remember acquiring banks and processors are like any other business; they must carefully assess risk in relation to profitability.

Revenue Holds: The First Sign of Trouble

Merchant account reserves are common practice for high risk payment processing. Because of the increased risk level, acquirers withhold a portion of the merchant’s revenue to cover potential losses....

Usually, the acquirer will freeze the merchant’s funds for several months. If recent customers file chargebacks, the bank needs to be able to reimburse those cardholders....

The MATCH List (Member Alert to Control High-Risk Merchants) is a database with information about businesses and owners whose merchant account has been canceled. The networks require banks to report all terminated merchant accounts to the MATCH List.
    https://www.cardfellow.com/chargebacks/
    Chargeback Fees

Unsurprisingly, the process outlined above costs merchants money in the form of chargeback fees, and businesses have to pay regardless of whether or not they win the dispute.
First up is the nominal fee charged for retrieval requests. These requests are made by issuing banks when a cardholder asks about or disputes a charge. Processors vary on what they charge, but this fee tends to fall in the range of $5-15.
If the information obtained in a retrieval request does not satisfy a customer or the customer's issuing bank, the dispute moves to a chargeback and the merchant is then hit with a chargeback fee. Merchants have to pay the chargeback fee even if the cardholder's claim is rejected, and even if the chargeback is a result of fraud or identity theft. This fee can range from $15 — 40.
If a merchant takes a dispute to the arbitration stage, she risks paying in the neighborhood of $400 in various fees to the card brand.
On top of all of these fees, both Visa and MasterCard have a strict limit on the total number of transactions that can be charged back before additional fines and penalties are levied. A merchant whose chargebacks exceed 1% of its total sales volume (the dollar amount, not the number of transactions) becomes subject to a chargeback monitoring program administered by the card brand, which is accompanied by a $5,000 fine. At this point, there is a very good chance that the merchant's account will simply be terminated by its bank or credit card processor.
    MasterCard website (see table 11.3)
    04Excessive Chargebacks
With respect to a Merchant reported by a MasterCard Acquirer, the Merchant’s chargebacks in any single month exceeded 1% of its MasterCard sales Transactions in that month, and those chargebacks totaled USD 5,000 or more.
The website mentioned in the previous post found only 75 Jevin websites. I have been logging the rapidly dwindling number of sites / customers for the last several years as well. With several large groups doing chargebacks, it is no mystery how this will end. Jevin claimed changing to Chase would solve all their problems in 2013 when $50,000.00 was said to be at issue. Now, Jevin will probably not be able to get any payment processor / bank to deal with them. Did Jevin already make the MATCH List? With 16 groups reporting late or missing payments totaling over $350,000.00 for this year alone, Jevin is totally cooked!

Re: Jevin Inc. / Dan Ptak / Online Sports Organization Management Software / David Arciniega / Garland Soccer / Chargeba

It is time for another exciting and riveting episode of the scammer can't keep his stories straight.

    1. St. Pete’s Northeast Little League missing $35,000 | WFLA.com

    2. St. Pete little league scrambling to raise $35,000 to pay for fall baseball season - Story | abcactionnews.com | Tampa Bay News, Weather, Sports, Things To Do | WFTS-TV

    3. St. Petersburg Little League missing $35,000 in dues, blames company that collected them | Tampa Bay Times

    4.
St. Pete little league waits to get $40,000 paid by parents - Story | FOX 13 Tampa Bay 13 contacted Jevin and learned several parents, both locally and across the country, were charged twice during online registration.

After many of those parents contacted their banks about the charge, Jevin officials said it triggered a fraud investigation with Merchant Bank, who handles Jevin's money.
Jevin officials claim until the investigation ends, they cannot turn over funds.
5.Funds mishap has Northeast little league struggling to play ball
According to Jevin, a freeze was placed on all the accounts the company has due to a youth football league in Utah demanding refunds.

Jevin President Dan Ptak said the situation would be rectified.
"Well the money is being held by the merchant bank," Ptak said. "They have not released the funds to us, therefore we don’t have the funds to release to Northeast."
So, Dan Ptak, which is it? Is Jevin software so dang crappy that there was a slew of double charges again? Was Jevin software a victim of a fraud as someone tried to steal the registration fees collected? Or, have the leagues doing chargebacks across the country to get the money that Jevin owes them the reason the accounts are all frozen as Dan Ptak reported. These weren't refunds as he characterizes them. The parents paid money for registration that their child's league needs to run its program. When Jevin couldn't pay the leagues the money collected, the parents had to do chargebacks so that their children could play. Jevin is ripping off charities that serve children! Liars can't keep their stories straight!
