There are many interesting discussions across the net. It is said that an insurance agent that can con a charity or church into this scheme could retire on the commissions. Interesting that it is impossible to contact Dennis Tubbergen. Every webpage I found had an e-mail that was no longer working. Rumor is swirling about the Michigan Attorney General's Office investigating this deal.

Wow, this is an interesting thread. I read all this, and then I contacted some of you who posted, and then I contacted Charitable Concepts. I'd heard very positive feedback from both agents and charities, so was curious. I found Charitable Concepts answered their phones, and their emails, and all my questions. There doesn't seem to be a scam going on. What's all the fuss about anyway?

Just checking back in -- Immediate Legacy is NOT a scam. Check this out: I inquired about the patent, and received a letter from the Law Offices and attorney representing Charitable Concepts -- they confirm that they filed the patent, and that Immediate Legacy is currently in Stage Three, progressing in the patent process. A patent is indeed pending. I also learned that it is the system and process that is being patented (in accordance with Legal stuff above), as it consists of a unique combination of insurance, entities, personal pension plans, and other instruments, each structured to meet the unique needs of a Charity, and of the donor. It's a tool that fulfills a real need among Charities -- one tool among others to be sure -- but, at least in my opinion, a tool worth evaluating.

Boneheaded shill, who admits he is pushing this garbage on the thread linked above, posted the preceeding on my Scam.com thread. He said he "contacted some of you who posted." Well, I am the only one who posted and you sure as hell didn't contact me. Now, let's have a scanned in copy of that "letter from the Law Offices and attorney representing Charitable Concepts." I will be happy to follow up with that law office and confirm such. I am sure this is another insurance debacle of the magnitude of the stranger owned life insurance messes in the news lately.

What exactly is the 'patent pending' for? Anything written (like another scam plan) can only be copyright protected, I believe, which would appear to be the case here.
If there is indeed a patent pending, there should be a number assign to it making it very easy to look up.

I'm sure their angle will be the 'process' of compensation.

One can rest assured this deal is sleazy. Tim Darnell tried pushing it. The problem he had was no legitimate attorney who could set up a trust would touch him with a ten foot pole after I forwarded them a few court documents. These deals can net huge commissions for insurance agents and investment professionals, but also require investors with impressive amounts of money. Tim could only find one "thousandaire" and the attorney that was wroking with him sent him and his way underqualified client packing for good.
