Praise the Lord, oh my soul - What a magnificent day! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your prayer support today!
With the help of my Sunday School class, I distributed about 5000 of the Christmas Tool at the Transformed event at my church today -- Whoo hoo! (The conference was superb and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get fired up for sharing the Gospel.)
We stood at the doors and handed them out as people were entering / exiting the conference and just said "Merry Christmas" as we handed them out. (I honestly think I've said "Merry Christmas" more in the last two days than I have in the last 7 years combined - and it's only the 2nd day of December!) We handed them out to everyone - kids and adults alike - because if a kid takes it to school, they could use it to witness to their classmates & teachers. I had several people come up and ask if they could have extra ones to hand out to people - to which I responded "You bet!" By the end of the conference I was hoarse again -- the devil is still attacking my vocal chords, but He that is within me is greater than he that is in the world, so I am determined to press on!
Now, I must confess 2 things to y'all ...
First of all, I stepped out on blind faith that there would be no problem with me distributing these this weekend. I did not seek permission to distribute these prior to these events. Quite honestly there wasn't time to do so and based on the fact that this was created under the anointing of the Holy Spirit as a means to inspire people to keep Christ in Christmas (and thus be a witness for Jesus!), I didn't feel obligated to seek anyone's approval to distribute them in my church home. Now, I will tell you that for a short time I wrestled with whether or not I should put "a gift from ... www.faithfulincome.com" at the bottom of it. After praying about it, I was touched with perfect peace about leaving it on there. By doing so I was giving every person who sees it the opportunity to double their blessing -- through a relationship with Jesus & an association with AC. I know the power of our product and the rock on which our business stands, so I would in essence be hiding my light under a bushel if I failed to mention AC. As I walked into the church with my box, I asked the Lord for wisdom and direction while distributing them. Later on, one of the church security guys came up to ask me what I was distributing and find out if I had clearance to do so ... Without thinking - literally - I handed him a copy of it, looked him square in the eyes and told him I was a member of the church & the Martin Sunday School class. He looked at me and the paper and said "oh, okay then - Merry Christmas!" and walked away. Now the old me - before AC - would have quickly apologized, packed up and left the scene. The new me - by the power of Jesus and the teaching provided by AC - stood my ground, faced the giant before me and pressed on. And you know what happened? I realized just how much AC has touched my life and how being part of AC has deepened my walk & trust in Jesus.
Secondly, you should know that I am so far out of my comfort zone that I've completely lost sight of it! God willing, I hope I never find it again because walking in holy boldness is a lot more thrilling! (And much more productive!)
The evening plans were changed up a bit, so I improvised by going to a local coffee shop to hang out until my kids were due home from spending the day with Nana & Papaw. As I entered, a couple got up to leave and they left behind the newspaper they'd been reading. This was a blessing from God because it afforded me the opportunity to see what events were going on around town and make a holiday plan of action to be out where the people are during the Christmas season. I left a gift behind when I left - a $1 Million dollar bill (with the Good News on back of it) for someone special to find. :o)
What will tomorrow bring? While at the coffee shop, thumbing through the events calendar in the paper, I had a nifty idea hit me that I will begin implementing tomorrow (or shall I say later today?) ... I plan to pay for 2 extra cups of coffee (while I get my morning fix before church) and have the cashier tell the next 2 people who buy a cup of coffee that it was "paid in full by a good Samaritan" and then hand them an envelope. Inside the envelope will be a handwritten note that says "Have a cup of cheer on me ... Merry Christmas! from Elizabeth Mashburn". Also included in the envelopes will be 4 tickets to our church's Christmas Festival and a copy of the Christmas Tool. After church, I'll spend the afternoon playing with my kids before heading back to church for a "Home for Christmas" NewSong concert wherein I expect to distribute another 5000 of the Christmas Tool as people are exiting the concert, with the assistance of my Sunday School class.
If you want to know how I enlisted the help of my Sunday School class, you'll just have to stay tuned for tomorrow's report. Till then, take care and God bless you mightily today!
Serving the Savior with Joy & Passion,
Elizabeth

This wonderful lady realized it was a scam and left in 2007 with droves of reps who had learned of the BBB suit loss and who were talking and realizing alomst everyone had lost money, many out thousands and thousands. I was told she expressed her concerns to other reps and had tried to help poor Josh Peak see the light. Sadly, he is still tangled up with those clowns.
