A recurring theme in Ponzi/Pyramid schemes is you have your own business.

Facebook groups are for endless recruiting gambits, little more. If Lanky Lawson had his own business he wouldn't be asking randoms when he's going to be paid. Skinny Steve could have said something like "I mined block 419 of PonziCoin worth $5 and the Prince hasn't been returning my calls" the way a businessperson that doesn't continually get wrapped up in schemes would. Sdly.

I couldn't find Steve's rantings but at Dunamis Worldwide Public Group | Facebook it's still a lot of great things are coming and people's questions going unanswered. Still able to take checks as far as I can tell.

This quote is a little troubling if if means what I take it to mean. This punter is getting paid without a customer number which to me would indicate payments aren't tied in an accounting sense to a miner but from a pool of funds. At a very minimum poor internal controls need be considered which leave any organization ripe for fraud and/or the claims of fraud.

This post has died on the vine. From my perspective this again is a red flag. If these people had mining computers they should be able to trace their coins back to the block chain and know what their rewards were and when they should be paid. Instead they're on Facebook playing telephone.

One other poster indicates they were told they would have to join Slush pool and presumably pay the associated mining fees. This question again has gone unanswered but kills the narrative of owing ones own mining rig and reaping 100% of the profits.

Considering Dunamis doesn't generate enough traffic to register on either Alexa or SimilarWeb, an the last post on its' Facebook page was on June 25, it appears Stupid Steve Lawson and J Ryan CONley are the only two with even the slightest interest in Dunamis

They're still doing exciting updates at Dunamis in their super secret groups. Charles Rudibagh chats about the amazing "back office" updates, bonuses, commissions, credit card payments for hosting only (4% surcharge), bla bla. All exciting stuff eh.

    Deja vu !

How many times is this scammin returd Lawson going to get burned on obvious money games before he gets it?

A clown of his caliber is never going to be an insider or have enough of a following to get a special deal & the inside word when the scam is played out.

Dunamis - their endless bullshit would be much more believable had they not located in basically the worst spot to keep the machines cool to mine bitcoin..the desert. Its just hard science.
Even a rube like Lawson should know it.

My thought is they wanted to be as close to the Mexican border as possible for the inevitable runner.

A business promoted via endless recruiting stands less chance of survival than a taco on Steve's plate, tic toc suckers.

Everyone has their own agenda in this industry and I’ve come to the conclusion that virtually all business comes with its own set of risks.

My position is changing when it comes to choosing an online business. If you see something you like then just go for it and try to make some money.

Do your own thing and stop worrying about the future.

Just do your best to tell people about the potential risks and tell them not to put more money into something that they can’t afford to lose.

    Good luck everyone !

Recently I spoke with a friend whose brother in law invested in a few Texas oil wells. It was an opportunity offered in compliance with the law https://www.sec.gov/investor/alerts/ia_oilgas.pdf. Anyone venture a guess how it panned out? Suppose chances of success are better if an investment isn't registered with the SEC?

Dunamis Global Tech with Steve Lawson.JPG

Spindly Steve finished his last post with an admission virtually everything he touted turned dollars to dust. From his timeline he claims to live rather well, one must infer those that followed his advice didn't fare as great. What method is Steve now using to evaluate risk with Dunamis? Can't be pulling red flags from oil drilling investments and applying them to crypto mining.

    Common red flags:

Sales pitches referring to recent news events like high oil or gas prices. “Can’t miss” wells and “guaranteed” returns, including claims that major oil and gas companies are drilling nearby.

    Abnormally high rates of return.

Sales tactics that pressure you to decide, like “limited” or “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity.

Sales pitches touting new technology, especially if it relates to getting higher production out of low-producing wells (sometimes called “stripper” wells).

Salesperson claims to be an investor.

Being asked to sign documents acknowledging that the securities laws do not apply to the investment

Re: Steve Lawson.....Bombards his potential victims with emails....

Someone asked Scraggly Steve if Dunamis was SEC registered, still waiting on his reply. While that's a better question than "is this thing paying" nothing beats knowing how to do it your-own-self. Not that he would, but what if Steve lied and said yes? Not that he is, but what if Steve's an idiot that doesn't the know law?

I think they are still paying in 1000s increments? Eg you get paid when you reach $1000....see the update video?

I haven't heard about this 100 USD thing. I have an FPGA miner and I was paid every weekend until now but I haven't received a payout last week.
People saying this can't be a Ponzi because you own the machine and Dunamis is simply hosting. Maybe, maybe don't, but one thing for Shirly 7of7 warning signs are present.

Many Ponzi schemes share common characteristics. Look for these warning signs:

High investment returns with little or no risk.
Every investment carries some degree of risk, and investments yielding higher returns typically involve more risk. Be highly suspicious of any "guaranteed" investment opportunity.
    Overly consistent returns.
Investment values tend to go up and down over time, especially those offering potentially high returns. Be suspect of an investment that continues to generate regular, positive returns regardless of overall market conditions.
    Unregistered investments.
Ponzi schemes typically involve investments that have not been registered with the SEC or with state regulators. Registration is important because it provides investors with access to key information about the company's management, products, services, and finances.
    Unlicensed sellers.
Federal and state securities laws require investment professionals and their firms to be licensed or registered. Most Ponzi schemes involve unlicensed individuals or unregistered firms.
    Secretive and/or complex strategies.
Avoiding investments you do not understand, or for which you cannot get complete information, is a good rule of thumb.
    Issues with paperwork.
Do not accept excuses regarding why you cannot review information about an investment in writing. Also, account statement errors and inconsistencies may be signs that funds are not being invested as promised.
    Difficulty receiving payments.
Be suspicious if you do not receive a payment or have difficulty cashing out your investment. Keep in mind that Ponzi scheme promoters routinely encourage participants to "roll over" investments and sometimes promise returns offering even higher returns on the amount rolled over.

Maybe if you've invested in something let's call Duhcoin and they can't pay your investment back because of insert story here_____________, don't send more money?

While Steve's huffing and puffing is magical, I see no proof he invested and lost money. He says he did, but that's not really proof. Logically, Steve can't continue to lose right alongside his "team" and live the lifestyle he claims unless he is only putting a token amount in, or the bulk of his professed lifestyle is coming from referral commissions/ a GF with a J.O.B.. This foot stomping probably for the benefit of Steve's recruits until the next sure to lose opportunity will be promoted as can't miss.

    What lifestyle?
A $50 a night place in Spain for a few weeks and a picture of a $10 steak & fries once in awhile?
A crone of a girlfriend? Would it surprise anyone if he was on the dole?

Re: Steve Lawson.....Bombards his potential victims with emails....

SPOILER ALERT: this would have to be one of the most pathetic, moronic videos I have ever had the displeasure to view.

Stupid Steve Lawson has been around long enough to know EXACTLY what has happened.

!) Dascoin (round 1) failed, as all ponzis do

    2) It's value was only on its' own internal exchange. Of course its' value was 50c. Dascoins' value was artificially set by Dascoin itself.

    3) As soon as it was listed on (pissant) public exchanges, the value dropped dramatically

    4) It was relaunched as Green power (round 2)

    4) The value has subsequently dropped to its' current 1c

    5) The "CEO" has said publicly not to expect any positive results for TWO YEARS

For Chrissakes, Stupid Steve, IT'S A BLOODY PONZI

It has collapsed. Stop being so bloody stupid

    It's dead, finished, kaput, gone

    Along with your money.
