Whitestone is a 1,564 acre Master Planned Community located next to the famous Lake Houston just north of Houston, Texas. This community is ideally located off of the newly improved Highway 59 just north of Kingwood which boasts quick and easy access to frontage roads on both the east and west sides of the highway. With the communities of Kingwood to the south and the Woodlands to the west almost finished out, Whitestone is the next large developable master planned community in the northern sector of Houston. It is located 29 miles from downtown Houston, and provides a quick and convenient route to the major Houston employment centers.
Whitestone is also located just minutes from the new industrial park on 1485 and 1314 which is home to the one million square feet Wal-Mart Distribution Center. This choice land has been owned and preserved by Rice University for more than 100 years and will have over 863 acres of residential living and 205 acres of neighborhood and commercial services. The community plans for two elementary schools, one middle school and a day care center.

There is a 1043 acre property owned by Whitestone Houston Holding as this website shows. That 19 million dollar loan is due September 1, 2011. The loan showing due on June 16th shows no extension yet. That 19 million dollar loan I take to be on the residential development that has been on the Marlin Atlantis website since 2005. How long can Marlin Atlantis and its dozens of realted LLCs keep paying on these loans whne there seems to be little chance of breaking ground and getting these developments underway?
