Snest is Shelli Nestle. She had the same cheery post and more barbs on my Facebook fan page for Earthquest. She and Don Holbrook graduated from Butler High together in 1979. Still carrying a torch, perhaps???

She obviously has no common sense. Don Holbrook is getting negative publicity for his role in the Earthquest debacle and his meltdowns and her baseless attacks are just fueling the fire and further damaging his reputation. If one cannot enumerate their claims of false statements and effectively refute them, then one might want to consider keeping one's trap shut!

I don't need her to refute anything because the page is filled with links to news articles, shared photos of Don Holbrook's Earthquest album and folks expressing their opinions. Without a false statement of fact that she and Holbrook can prove is false there is nothing defamatory. She certainly made a complete fool of herself in public. I hope Holbrook is worth it.

You have been banned from the Facebook page. Folks go there for quick updates on the project and intelligent discussions. If you want to bicker with me and make all sorts of wild accusations about slander (which is spoken -- look it up) you may do so here.

You seem so interested in the facts though apparently you are in possession of none yourself. Perhaps, you would be kind enough to ask Holbrook why he is refusing to release the charity, Institute Earthquest, papers. Some of those documents are required to be publicly available by law. He should be explaining where all the money went as he was the president and CEO of that disaster and there is absolutely nothing to show for it.

Then ask him how the hundreds of thousands in meals, travel and hotel expenses were in any way truly necessary for an experienced designer like Contour and all the consultants and board members. All that was for naught. Holbrook was paid the big bucks to raise the funding for Earthquest and nothing ever went forward. The land should have been purchased years ago.

Lots of questions and Holbrook has no answers! Let's have those answers. Let's have those hundreds of projects worth billions of dollars that created 50,000 jobs that he brags of. Let's have those false statements of fact.

Don's Delusional Dummies might recall that Tim Darnell sued the BBB and me and lost both in Summary Judgment. I sued him personally for the slam site www.heatherdobrott.com. Poof that site and all his lie-filled attacks calling me a deranged stalker vanished. But, I digress. As part of that suit I contacted the hosting service for Scam.com in New Jersey. The owner is a great guy. I would highly recommend that company. I had Letters Rogatory all written. Those would allow me as an out of state litigant to serve a subpoena on the hosting company to get all the records about the threads in question. If this nonsense continues we can begin horrendously costly litigation and smoke out the folks that insist on going online and making false criminal allegations. That is absolutely actionable.

And, the FBI is quite familiar with me as well. Tell them Mom says howdy!

I finally pinpointed one gentleman that I think is currently the economic development person for Las Vegas. I asked him what projects do you know he has completed and he could not answer that. He had no clue as to what he has completed, but yet he’s known the gentleman for 20 years,” he said. During several town board meetings where the issue was discussed, Darby said he also questioned Holbrook about past projects, but could not get a definitive response. “He talked around it without ever answering the question. I noticed in the Pahrump Valley Times that he kind of skirts around answering it by saying to look at his book reviews. I believe writing a book is not building a theme park. Personally, I think it was a huge mistake. I think that they sprinkled stardust into Harley’s eyes and got him to see wonderland and it changed his attitude and the way he originally looked at things. When he first got on there, he was all fired up and wanted to do things this way and that way. All of a sudden this trip to Los Angeles happened and it’s like he’s another person,” he said.

These projects have created over 50,000 living wage jobs for hard working Americans and won Holbrook the Fellow Member award by his peers, the highest honor in his industry for lifetime achievements. On top of all this he wrote 3 books telling others how to accomplish similar results and encouraging his peers to strive to make a difference. This has made him the #1 author in his industry and Amazon ranked him as the #1 author in his genre in 2011. Perhaps Holbrook should be running for elected office, he actually gets things done that help average people have a better opportunity to succeed in the world.........[snip mindless continued ranting]

Holbrook sounds like that buffoon McCrady. He bragged at one of the EMCID meetings that he brought in SuperWalmart and CVS. That would have happened without him as well. How silly!

Holbrook talking about himself in the third person is kind of creepy. His colleagues have been royally snowed. Holbrook writes self-published books and talks a good game. He has made a fortune with his silver tongue. Then when the pooh hits the fan he rambles on about his books and refuses to answer legitimate questions and turn over documents required to be public by law. Pahrump had its Al Bolloqui singing Don's praises in the following e-mails. He was an honored guest at the dancing on the table drunk birthday bash for Holbrook. I still contend it is highly unlikely that the people dancing on the table were sober. And, no, Holbrook was not photographed dancing on the table. We can all imagine the consequences to the table had he done so. So, Al Bolloqui is not unbiased and at an arm's length. Please go to 4:33 in the video. Bolloqui and Holbrook talk. Holbrook says Earthquest is one of the largest theme parks in the world and the largest green one. Really? It is a bunch of drawings and not one word about any financing in place.

One thing Don Holbrook does have in development which he claims will be out the end of this year or early next year is his fiction book The Ninth Templar. Fiction does seem to be right up his alley!

Ms. Dobrott, YOU are the one who is clueless and I sincerely believe that you will be made to pay for your mistakes, before all is said and done. You are making UNPROVABLE claims against people all the while HOPING that full disclosure of documents (that likely don't or never existed) will clear things up to your satisfaction. Not smart. If no documents exist that PROVE that Holbrook or anyone from the EMCID did anything illegal in a court of law - YOU will have to answer for spreading libelous remarks on so many internet forums -especially if anyone can prove that you have effected their ability to make a living. At this point no legal action or investigation has even been initiated against anyone involved with the EarthQuest project.
You are setting yourself up for an epic downfall. At some point you must ask yourself "is it worth it?" Using words like "buffoon" only make you look unprofessional as a consumer advocate and someone who is just desperate for attention. Your tactics don't seem unlike the people who were recently successfully sued in the article mentioned above. By the time anyone convinces you of this, it will be too late if it isn't already. In order to prove that Holbrook did anything illegal, you will need a lot of documents that IF exist, will be almost impossible to attain. But if anyone wanted to prove that you have made hundreds of defamatory remarks on a variety of web forums, all they will have to do is a simple google search by typing the name soapboxmom or Heather Dawne Clarke Dobrott. You have made it too easy for them. I bet you are not the best chess player in this match. Check.

First my little muffin, where did I accuse Holbrook of illegal activity? I think the wild spending sprees on the world wide tours are in essence absolutely criminal (i.e. totally irresponsible) in the sense they were extremely extravagant trips that accomplished nothing in my opinion. It is definitely a case where I think the poor taxpayers have been robbed. Why on earth should the taxpayers have to spend hundreds of thousands on meals, travel, hotels and more? I don't think those expenses could possibly be justified when this group apparently came in without the funding already well on the way to being secured.

Holbrook and company came in with nothing more than pipe dreams. Holbrook and company made out like bandits getting all sorts of money upfront when there may well have been little hope of getting funds for the project from the get go. The unsuspecting taxpayers are the ones that are going to get burned and have to pay off the 21 some odd million in bonds. Everyone has bailed as the money is gone and Contour is not updating as they obviously can't even raise the money to buy the land. They already got paid plenty for the designs. Those pretty drawings are about all we have to show for 6 years of trips to fantasy land and crazy talk about groundbreaking with many dates that have come and gone. Earthquest: Sinkhole for residents

Defamatory remarks will in essence boil down to false statements of fact. Where are they? Demanding documents due by law, requesting Holbrook to back up his lofty claims with documentation, sharing public photos from Facebook and cracking jokes is not going to cut it. I don't have to look professional. I am not a paid forensic examiner. I can have fun posting and employ hyperbole whenever it blows my dress up. If anything goes to court, Holbrook will have to turn over tax returns, financial records and pretty much everything but his used toilet paper. Discovery will certainly answer a lot of questions. Your identity, King, would also be revealed.
