It seems like in this "industry" common sense is not all that common!

PTP7 minutes ago Whoever cashed the checks or accepted the wire transfers for these monies needs to be prosecuted and jailed! There has to be a name on the "Earthquest Adventures" paperwork that can be put on a warrant!
The comments are pouring in on the Channel 2 site!

Congratulations to both you and your son, laidback, I'm quite sure your VERY proud of him!!! I highly doubt it, but maybe, just maybe, Holbrooks son can eventually top this one. If he does, he'll more than likely have to leave to freindly confines of private school and butt-wiping (on taxpayer dollars) by mommy and daddy to do so. My oldest spent 4 yrs in the AFJROTC, eventually becoming commander of his unit. Upon graduating, he turned down an offer to the Academy, turned down a scholorship to LSU, and decided to serve his country as a Combat Medic in Afghanistan. I seriously doubt he'll serve anyone other than himself, after all, we're a product of our environment, are we not? I pray he doesn't end up looking like dad, cause judging by his looks, he not only has served himself repeatedly at the taxpayers trough, but at the new Ceasars Palace all-you-can-eat buffet as well.

A heartfelt thank you, SBM, I'm quite sure you're just as much of an amazing mom with equally amazing children. What's even MORE amazing is how gASSbag's PALTRY $50.00 donation to the re-election campaign of the old-guard EMCID was returned ten-fold. Too bad he was gunning for a thousand-fold!!! A prime example of how biting the hands that feed you (actually, slapping the faces of those that over-feed you) will come back and bite you in that mushy blob of lard you call your ass.

Now that the dust has settled on the most recent presidential election it is time to get on with our lives. This country as many of you are beginning to realize is in a very delicate period of our Republic’s history. Truly the debt of $117T of unpaid IOU’s for our future entitlements, and the annual shortfall of nearly $3T now is beyond most of our comprehension. I know that for us to get our financial affairs in order we have to adjust our expectations as a nation. First, our politicians have to be addressed. They need to be on term limits of no more than 3 terms in House and 2 terms in the Senate. They also need to have their retirement system abolished and be forced to use a 401K just like the rest of us. Their healthcare needs to be the same as the rest of us as well. They pay into the system for group health and have to purchase their own upon retirement from politics or are voted out or use COBRA… same as what we all have to use. They need to have tighter controls on their perks and special interest junkets. Then we need to cap campaign contributions and limit them to ordinary citizens not corporate or PAC monies. Then true political reform can begin.

Next, with regard to taxation… you simply cannot tax the rich to get out of this situation. You could take all the profits of all the companies, all the income of those that make more than $250,000 per household and it would not pay our annual budget. That means that the entire population has to pay their percentage fair share and it needs to come in as we spend our monies. Simply put the progressive tax is punitive to building and creating jobs and investments. Everyone has to be a national income tax and it should be as painless as possible therefore it should be a national sales tax with no income tax other than a flat 16% on all wages for retirement, disability, healthcare and unemployment. That should be privatized and controlled by us just like our 401k accounts with major restrictions on borrowing from it or putting too much into any one category.

You see, we all are entitled to have the right to advance our education, earning power and have equal access to opportunities to do so, but we are not entitled to pay equalization or subsidized living by those that worked harder, smarter or longer than others of us. This is the true division in our nation now. Those folks that create jobs are those that did just that and they do not feel they owe those that have done less or are not willing to take those same risks or effort a subsidized financial future.

This election showed me just how close we are to a class war on where I nation will end up. The subsidized route is moving us into a socialism model there can be no doubt about that. I want capitalism to maintain the original premise of our nation, that is that all are equal and have the right and should be provided with the tools to explore and develop their own best outcomes.

Now let’s get behind the President (like him or Not) and let’s continue to keep pressure on our elected officials to begin to make these reforms so that our nation will continue to build a healthy and sustainable future out of this dark economic hole that we have all created by our past actions and reduced involvement in holding our politicians accountable.

    God Bless America!

What a bunch of horse dodo coming out of Sir Gasbag 3X large. I can not wait till they give him free room and board. A pin stripe suit with a nice long number on it.

Don Allen Holbrook is an idiot. Certainly, simplifying the tax code would be advantageous, but a national sales tax would be extremely hard on the working poor as would the flat tax. Holbrook is running at the mouth and has no clue how to help the U.S. economy. All he knows how to do is help himself to a heaping helping of tax dollars by fast talking hillbillies like Frank McCrady. This complete clown really needs to stick a sock in it!!!

re: Don Allen Holbrook IEDC Rogue Former Member / Jeff Finkle Orchestrates Cover-up

    WednesdayNov 2012

I spend a good bit of my time dealing with clients, friends and speaking to audiences about life choices. I thought I would take some time to share some of my thoughts along these lines.

In discussions I generally tend to congregate information and knowledge of our own feelings of where we feel we are in life along the following characterization of our own perceptions. Most of us fail to take full accountability of our actions. In other words we feel someone else is to blame for where we ended up in life. We shift the blame or our failed realization of attaining our own goals to some third party. It is easier to do that for most of us… after all who really wants to admit that our own choices put us where we are or the series of choices we made. Most of us talk a good story of positive thinking but few or us live by our own words. We act like we are positive and put on a charade but inside we are curmudgeons. Someone who looks at life from a slightly negative view all the time. Truly life’s first lesson is attitude adjustment. The glass for us all is half full. A curmudgeon if I gave he/she a bag of gold would tell me how heavy it is to carry and ask me to take it to the bank for them. In order to move to our best performance and happiest level of living we have to adjust our attitudes to one of gratitude and gratefulness. We have to see the opportunity in everything, even those times that seem the darkest have pearls of opportunities for us to learn from and possibly improve our own outcomes if we act upon those situations from a platform of positiveness.

Another misnomer is that success and happiness is linked to income. Absolutely not! I know miserable billionaires and unhappy millionaires. Success is simply defined in my opinion as the following; Successful people simply make better choices than less successful people. Successful people tend to get all the information on the table and make an informed choice. They understand the power of saying “Yes” versus a quick “No.” You see if you say “Yes” then the other party has to pay out their plans and their requirements of you and put all the proverbial cards on the table. By doing so you can get all the information clearly and quickly and you still have the right to say “No” at anytime even after you have said yes. Even if you sign a contract you have in most cases the right to recision for some limited period of time. This tenet of binding agreement is an important piece of information to fully understand. Being informed puts us in control and makes us powerful decision makers and gives us the upper hand in all negotiations from the start. You see the other side will want to maintain the agreement so they will give far more from their side of the equation to do so as we begin to show any hesitation or demonstrate our ability to withdraw from the original “Yes.”

Now the other factor I hear a good bit especially with relationships is the blame game of how both partner feel unappreciated, unloved or misunderstood and/or not heard. Relationships shift from the giddy and high of the courtship too much to the routine of just getting through life. We forget to work on the “Scorecard of Life.” So, what is the Scorecard of Life? Well it is mainly focused on the following four tenets; 1.) Family time, which is our commitment to spend quality time with our family and friends to have a deep and meaningful relationship and share our joy and involvement with them in our mutual pursuit of activities, rest, relaxation and other purposeful events. 2.) Romance and love, the need for romance and the demonstration of love through caring and affection and yes romantic intimacy is huge for both sexes. After we get coupled or married we forget many times to keep up the courtship. One of my friends told me that the trick is simply to schedule a date night each week with your partner. If you were single you would do something similar, so don’t stop when you are in a deep and committed relationship. Remember romance is what brings most of us together in the first place… unless it was an arranged marriage… LOL. I even believe just taking 10 minutes per day to tell the other person how much you appreciate them, give them a compliment in the morning and listen to their day each day earnestly and don’t be judgmental. I recommend that you spend at least 5 or 10 minutes everyday being affectionate… it does not have to be sexual but that is another great option. It could be to hold their hand, stroke their hair or brush their face and kiss them good night and good morning each day. Tell them you love them, don’t make them guess about such matters. 3.) Adventure and fun, plan activities that you both can do together and those you can do with the whole family weekly. Make sure you make some big plans to in order to have things to look forward to. We have lost our focus on this aspect and far too many of us never go on great vacations to build our memories and fun and adventure experiences. As much as 80% of us never go on their dream vacations and live a life of routine and boredom. This is normally due to our lack of prioritization, focus and goal setting and budgeting all hard work and committed effort. We simply use excuses such as time and money as our reasoning or excuse for failing to go on our dream vacations and/or achieve our bucket list. Now we budget for some really boring and bad things monthly such as car insurance, home insurance, maybe healthcare, disability insurance, retirement and sometimes even the ultimate party perk, life insurance. All of these are not exciting fun things but we do it because it is our responsibility to do so… right? Naw, we do it out of love. We love our spouse and/or significant other and our family so we budget for these events. Our soldiers face the ultimate sacrifice, they put their life on the line for what many refer to as their patriotic duty. Not so, they do this out of love. They love their country, their family, their way of life and their fellow soldiers so they face the ultimate test of love, the sacrifice potentially of their own lives for this love. Yet, we do not budget or account for vehicles to provide us with happiness and health and better relationships with our spouses, family and friends.

You see we have the time to do all this. The average American gets 10-14 days of vacation, 2 days off per week and 8-10 federal holidays. That equates to 130 days or so per year. Now that is 1/3 of a year for all these three important areas of our life. You see we work a 1/3 of a year if we are healthy and we sleep about a third of a year. So we simply don’t make our family, spouse or Lover and friends a big enough priority… it is just that straight forward.

Now you all know by now that our nation is a workaholic nation. We relate to our very beings by our occupations. If you ask a European what they do they will likely tell you all their activities such as travel, hobbies and leisure pursuits. If you ask and American what they do, they will quickly explain their occupation to you. We have totally lost focus of our own beings and have shifted it to our occupations. That is why we are in the cellar on quality of life amongst the other most industrialized nations. Our divorce rate is above 63% for first marriages and 74% for second marriages. This is twice the rate of any other nation in the world and three times more than most of our European counter parts. They score in the top 10% of quality of life and happiness factors in the world while we are at the bottom in the proverbial cellar. Now just 50 years ago we led the world economically (and we still do lead in this category with over 39% of the world GDP) but we also led the world in quality of life. We have simply lost focus on these values and placed money as our center of our universe. Our families, relationships, quality of life and happiness have suffered due to this maligned view, one which has been perpetuated by the media.

You see, if we don’t spend time in the categories of the Wheelhouse of Life, those areas we have the choice and therefore the power to create for ourselves such as family time, romance, adventure and fun, we become stressed out. Europeans call vacationing and taking time for themselves Holidays. They are mandatory in all European nations. Our media has made this greatly misconceived by us. It is not that this is the socialistic way of life and that they are lazy. Rather it is that they understand that by doing so it makes them healthier (they live 3-4 years on average longer than we do) and it makes them happier and improves their quality of life. It also saves those countries money. Now that is very capitalistic concept. They have half our healthcare costs and everyone over there is fully insured. You see, you can’t reduce your stress with a pill or a bottle for very long and remain healthy. You have to decouple from stress. This is an important issue and it is highly misunderstood by most folks.

My mother always told me to speak at the 8th grade level so most folks would understand my intent and comments. So here is my 8th grade definition of stress… “It makes everything bad in your life worse. If you are having a hard time with your relationship with your spouse or significant other or lover, it makes it worse. If you are having a hard time going to work and dealing with your occupation and financial issues it makes it worse. If you are having a hard time simply facing life and getting through the routine, it makes it worse.” But most important to understand is what the American Medical Association says about stress, they said, “Stress is the catalyst to all diseases and illnesses.” In other words, stress makes all diseases and illnesses whether physical or mental worse thus it can kill you. If you don’t take time to reduce your stress in healthy ways you simply will not live your full life. If you were given the choice upon knowledge of your expected death everyone would pay whatever it cost within their means to extend their life. But we fail to budget and allocate time and money to do this on a voluntary basis.

Budgeting for your pursuit of your dream vacations and time to have fun, adventure and romance is not only exciting and good for your relationships it can extend your life and create a much happier disposition and outlook on life, but most of all it can extend your time here on earth. Thus far I have not received any calls from the other side that have told me, hey it OK our friends are over here and we are having a great time. So there is no promise or proof of the NEXT for us. Many of us have faith and hope for a NEXT but that is based on our beliefs and our own inner faith. You see Life is about the journey not the destination. We all have the same final destination. It’s either looking at dirt or being a pile of ashes. The beauty of life is the journey and the experiences and memories we make along the way.

I often speak about AHA moments. Now you probably understand what AHA moments are but let me give you my own description of AHA moments. An AHA moment is when a light bulb goes off and you realize what you are doing is not working for you the way you want it to. So you make a change in your behavior to adjust to this desire and act in your own best interests. I think successful people have lots of AHA moments because they are constantly recalibrating their lives to adjust and make their dreams and expectations come true. They take ownership in their actions and focus on what it takes to fly the mission and achieve their ever expanding expectations and that is very healthy. You all know this to be true. If you break up with someone you love not on your own will, you reflect back on what you could have and should have done differently. That is an AHA moment too late many times. Most relationships break up because we fail steer our ship in a course of mutual shared values (remember we are the captain of our ship and steer it in our own wheelhouse by our choices). If you are fortunate enough in your last days to reflect on your life and have that final AHA moment, we never wish we would have worked more do we? No of course not. We reflect on how we should have lived our life more fully along the areas of the Scorecard of Life. We many times have an AHA moment of regrets of a life lived unfulfilling our dreams and desires.

What I ask of folks is to take ownership of their Scorecard of Life. Be accountable for actions Today… not someday for achieving what we all truly want more of, Romance, Love, Intimacy, Fun, Adventure,Health and Family time. If you look on your cell phone’s calendar there is no someday is there? No of course not. Life is about acting today and being responsible for setting and achieving our goals to become and remain happy and fulfilled in our lives.

So find a game plan that will help you achieve this. Invest in your happiness and improve your quality of life and your relationships and never settle for mediocrity. Most American’s achieve their economic goals whatever those may be, but we fail and fall short on our quality of life goals. This just takes focus and yes, budgeting. One of the ways I discuss in my speaking is the use of what I refer to in economics as unconscious spending, what I also refer to as an economist as the “Invisible Threat.” What I mean by this is simply this. Unconscious spending is money we all spend monthly unknowingly that we could have saved money on such purchases. Sometimes usually 50% or more in many cases. An example is my son, might want to go to Starbucks and buy he and his girlfriend (who will remain anonymous) coffees… so as he leaves my wife says, no… take this 2 for 1 coupon and thus he saves 50% or $4.00 to $5.00 on his purchase that he would have spent anyways. That is unconscious spending. How much do you think the average America family spends monthly unconsciously… not aware of what they could have saved on purchases they would have made anyways? Well, it is on average $800-$1,000 per month… things like, groceries, eating out, fast food, haircuts, gasoline, movies, shows, concerts, bowling, oil changes, etc. One of the tools I use to pay for my vacationing is coupons that are driven by my zip code through my employers “Everyday Savings Travelers Plus Benefits” at Blue Green Resorts. You see most of us use money as our excuse for not doing those fun things in life and going on those dream vacations and trips with our family, significant other or friends… but life goes by in a flash and it just keeps flowing like a river and before you know it we feel past by.

Taking responsibility for our choices and making good ones takes time, patience, persistence, focus and yes budgeting cash and being a great steward of what we have and how we best use it. But the outcome is well worth the time and money spent on this pursuit of life and the enjoyment of the fabric of life following our passions with our loved ones.

I lost too much time and loved ones not attaining the best memories so now is the time to get my own wheelhouse aimed at the course to achieve my own expectations and dreams. Locking in our vacationing expenses using flexible vacation ownership is the best method I know to make this work. It would be like locking in the cost of vacationing at today’s costs and being able to pay for the use of my allocated commitment of such pursuits in todays dollars and use them into perpetuity. I would look pretty smart if I had done this with gasoline back in 1972 when I was purchasing my gas for $.25 cents per gallon forever, right? I would be looked at as being pretty astute today. It’s the same on vacationing. You preserve the cost of vacationing in term and costs that you have and can afford today versus the cost of inflation of 8% per year… that means every 9 years the cost of vacationing will double. That’s why Motel 6 and Super 8 are not Motel 99 and Super 89 today. In our lifetime those places were $6 and $8 per night, but not anymore. Now as I told you vacationing is not the only thing you need to do in order to improve your scorecard of life, but it is a healthy and good first step towards realizing your needs, pursuing your dreams and bucket list and setting time aside for your loved ones and family each year, which will almost automatically improve your quality of life in almost all cases.

Reaching our goals and living a life that is not full of regret is important to avoiding becoming the two most dreaded statistics while you are alive. The first is divorce and/or the ruination of your relationship with your significant other/spouse and your family. The second is the lack of 80% of folks reaching their goal of where they dream of going in their lifetime.

Now the biggest excuses I hear about vacation ownership failure to launch are the following. I already own my own vacation house and/or I own a traditional time share unit. OK, let’s look at these two options closely.

Owning a vacation home is very expensive and most of the time you have limited use. In fact the average household that owns a vacation home outright uses it less than 2% of their year, but they have all the expenses for owning it year round such as maintenance, taxes, insurance, cleaning, utilities, etc. But that is 98% downtime… not a very efficient use of their money. Finally, you can’t trade that and go to other more exotic places.

When you own traditional time share you have to to the same unit every year at the same time of the year and it comes in one size. If you want to go somewhere else you have to find an exchange with the system where someone else wants your unit and that doesn’t always happen and/or maybe not in your timeline. So it lacks flexibility and the ability to allow you to actually travel abroad easily. That is the number one reason most folks hate traditional time shares.

When you own flexible vacation ownership you use your points to go anywhere you want, anytime you want and in any size unit with no restrictions and it is totally flexible and easy to use. Plus you only purchase the amount of time each year you really are going to commit to using so it is 100% efficient and cost-effective.

Now, on a final note I have to tell you that focusing on such pursuits I believe is one of the best investments you can make in your lifetime. There are many great reasons. It makes you feel much culturally broader and more alive and in connection with the planet, people and other cultures.

I know for me as a Father and Husband what these kind of choices have meant to me are priceless. Do you maybe remember when we were kids and we got that special SEARS Christmas catalog in the mail? How we loved to look through it and dream about all the toys that maybe Santa Claus might bring us. Right? I know as kids we remember every trip we went on with our parents right, but today we don’t remember those toys we got very much. My kids can’t tell you what they got for last Christmas, but they remember every trip I’ve taken them on. I know I went with my parents in 1972 to Disney World when it opened and that was my fondest memory of our travels and time together. We never forget those memories. So as a Dad and Husband I know these times are precious, so every year we get our DREAM Book in the mail telling us about all the 4300 hundred plus resorts and places we can possibly go in the world. It is the same feeling as when we got that old SEARS Wish book Christmas catalog as kids. Our family has started our own traditions around this travel dream book. Each year each of my boys picks out a place they want to go in the world. Then my wife and I pick out one or two places where we want to go as a couple and reconnect and remember the romance that brought us together in the first place. Then each year our family votes on one locale we want to go to as a family. But the magic of these special moments is as a Dad and Husband, I actually make those dreams come true each year. My Facebook friends often ask me how do you and Laurie do all this stuff? I tell them it is simple, I make the scorecard of life a priority and I use my vacations as a way to keep my family dreaming and achieving their possibilities. More important I am building a fundamental tradition with my boys that I hope will become so instilled in them that they pass this down and pay it forward in their own future adult lives with their family’s, my grandchildren and great grandchildren. You see making these type of choices is powerful and it is the type of legacy I want my life to be remembered for and the traditions I want to instill and pay forward in my own kids and their future. It is work, but it is worth every ounce of time and money spent on this passion and pursuit of dreams.

I hope God Blesses all of you with such memories and the commencement of your own traditions.

    Happy Holidays

Who writes this trash for this guy. Maybe he should read this trash and do what he is talking about in life. This guy is a nut bag. He must be having a nervous breakdown. Maybe his money train is drying up and has to come to his senses about life. If this guy did a honest days work, he might realize that life can be as happy as you want it to be.

It's terrible to think someones children might be faced with the possibility of their fondest memories being weekend visitation with their favorite inmate.

I think our rotund one is having a psychotic breakdown. What is with this rambling diatribe? May he choke on his turkey after carting off the EMCID vault and filing that frivolous suit against those that dared to speak out about the expenditure of tax dollars in which he was hopelessly tangled!

I'm going to try and take a stab at decyphering this rambling diatribe. If GasBag recently turned 50 and was purchasing gas in 1972 for 25 cents a gallon, it's obvious he was huffing gas at the tender age of 10. This would explain the whack dribblings eminating forth from his keyboard 40 yrs. later. If that's the case, I'm sure his Reverend father would be quite shocked to find out where that 25 cent weekly allowance was going. I can envision Donnyboy now, stealing that first-graders lunch, choking on that healthy tuna-on-wheat, throwing away the apple meant for the teacher, and depositing 2 cents worth of 93 octane leaded in that empty sandwich baggy for dessert. Huffhuffhuffhuff, "You know what? f this school crap, I want to be the world's foremost thought strategist in economic development when I grow up!"

Don Holbrook is melting down on Amazon:

    Don Allen Holbrook says:
To all my fans please disregard this nut case fruit job... she in my opinion is mentally ill. I apologize that we have to tolerate her cyber stalking and her malicious and obsessive focus on me. She only reports media sensationalized articles by back water media outlets not true investigative journalism... these news stories are tabloid yellow journalism created to sell newspapers and draw eyeballs to their sites. My cyberstalker is a person that has no job, has no life, and has no future except to torment folks she conjures up conspiracy theories about concocted in her own fantasy mind and world. This person obviously needs attention and gets such from this sick form of pestering normal people......

    Don Allen Holbrook says:

What this person fails to tell you is that these fees were contractually obligated and agreed to prior to any work being done and so they were earned honestly, even if she dislikes the project, that is not a valid reason to discredit my work and my fees that were paid over a 7 year period of work by the clients at their own free will and through their own request for my services.
Of course, Holbrook claimed 100s of successful projects worth billions of dollars that generated 50,000 jobs. Numerous journalists have researched this and it is obviously a gross exaggeration at best and Holbrook has flat out refused to substantiate his claims. So, what he said to get those various people and entities to pay him the exorbitant amounts and sign those contracts is an issue that should be explored much further. The Ohio court case will be fascinating to watch even with all the bloggers, journalists and newspapers out.

I guess Holbrook should be careful who he sues. Now, he has the attention of numerous bloggers, journalists and first class publications. I don't appreciate having to fight harassment suits, so I will be sure to keep this clown Holbrook on my radar. It will be a blast to watch him substantiate the wild accusations he has made against all the papers that have covered his shenanigans!

No doubt the folks at Mannheim Solutions, Holbrook's newest gig, will be thrilled with the publicity Holbrook creates.

Uhhh, that would have to be the latter, littleroundman, seeing as though I failed Advanced Gibberish at LaSalle, along with everyone else but one. Unfortunately, I was assigned a seat directly behind that student. Besides the fact I was unable to see the professor the entire time due to this student being overly obese, no one could get one word in, let alone think.

Heather you are one sick psycho go get a life you waste of flesh and keep your pie hole closed about others. You invent crap and it will bite you someday and you will pay for tormenting all the folks you do. You see what goes around comes around.
Holbrook chose to threaten and then sue numerous good, honest people in order to scare them into silence. Boy is that backfiring for the big goon!

Might be a good time for Donny boy to find any false statement of fact made by anyone and quote and refute it. These lovely meltdowns are most amusing! No doubt they are also great for business.

re: Don Allen Holbrook IEDC Rogue Former Member / Jeff Finkle Orchestrates Cover-up

Don Allen Holbrook (the mastermind behind much of this Earthquest debacle) was a Vice President in a company devoted to fundraising:

    Don Holbrook

    Alias or nickname
Executive Vice President, Stellar Fund Raising Executive

    Jacksonville Bch, FL

    General Info

Add Industry— eg, Real Estate, Finance...

    Add Tags— eg, Finance, Business2Business...

    Don A. Holbrook
    Executive Vice President, Strategic Partner
Don Holbrook is a published author through the various professional journals such as the Council for Urban Economic Development Commentary, IEDC Economic Development Journal. He also wrote a monthly feature column for nationally distributed Business Facilities Magazine, has written several economic development pieces in local and regional newspapers and previously hosted a monthly public television show on development issues. He has been
featured on numerous radio talk shows related to his field of expertise. He has been interviewed by the USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Canadian Business Magazine, New York Times, Washington Post, Site Selection Magazine, Inside Economic Development and Plant Sites & Parks magazine.
Holbrook abandoned that deal and a handful of employees that left under questionable circumstances (the owner was hospitalized) formed Sage fundraising. Sage did the fundraising for Earthquest for quite some time. We all know how that went as the taxpayers put the majority of the funds into the defunct Earthquest Institute headed up by none other than Don Holbrook. The taxpayers kept paying Holbroook for that months after it had ceased operations.

Holbrook has also claimed to Pahrump:
    www.realscam.com/attachments/f11/1379d1337653154-don-allen-holbrook-iedc-international-economic-development-council-rogue-member-pahrump-town-board-meeting-may-24-2011.pdf

dr. Waters asked how many of the hundreds of projects mr. Holbrook had been involved in
    had been successful.

Mr. Holbrook replied one hundred percent (100%) of the projects had been successful therefore he had never had a failed project. He said he had walked away from three (3) to four (4) times as many proposed projects as he had worked on.
he added that he would not be in pahrump if he thought the project could fail. He said he believed in the project and it was his professional as well as personal opinion that this was the perfect time to get the
process started before another surrounding area chose to do so....

    Tbm 052411 page 3

mr. Holbrook told the town board this was an investment and that the due diligence package
required the private sector to buy that investment from the town one hundred percent
(100%) as a first step in confirming investment. He said the price may be high but the
comprised team involved would most certainly be world class with proven success in multiple situations. He added that they had nine to ten (9-10) investment followers who were actively looking for investment opportunities from the company.
    he said they were very
confident the investment community would start asking questions about the project and have
interest in pahrump as they are knowledgeable enough to know the company would not be
putting the energy into a project which would not result in a world class facility.
Holbrook claimed he had no failed projects out of the hundreds (yet unsubstantiated by Holbrook, which may be the crux of the case in Ohio where misrepresentation is one element of the city's case against him). Holbrook knew then in May 2011 that the Earthquest developer was bust. Don Lessem told me in April of 2011 the nut on the note was not being paid.

If Holbrook has all these investors chasing him around, then why did Earthquest never get a dime? Even more glaringly obvious is his failure on a personal project he couldn't even begin to raise a fraction of the funds for:

Holbrook is all hot to do a book, Hollywood movie and Holy Land dig centered around his fantasies of being a Knight in shining armour. If he can only rake in 1% of $60,000.00, how much of $600,000.00 or much more do folks think he and / or Chris Brown will be able to scrounge up???

Don Allen Holbrook is learning the hard way why one shouldn't file frivolous lawsuits or declare bankruptcy. We do know pretty much everything about him and his business such as it is but his underwear size. Read for yourselves ladies and gentlemen. We still don't see where the payments to the private school are coming from. What account is paying that $35,000.00 a year? How much is he in the hole to his attack dog lawyer that sued half of the planet???

Hilariously, Holbrook is now pushing timeshares. Notice Blue Green resorts is paying that creep according to his bankruptcy monthly report. Isn't that just one step above selling used Pintos???

Phil Nicholsa day ago Some of the taxpayer monies were probably funneled back to the politicians who were involved in this project, in the form of campaign donations. Why aren't the people behind this being held criminally liable?
The taxpayers are up in arms! There were grand jury subpoenas sent out and I hope indictments for these clown will follow! The taxpayers deserve real answers about where those millions of dollars spent on the Earthquest fantasy project really went!

Figured that one out after fjjm303's posting of gASSbag's ramblings earlier this week. What I find hilarious is the fact I predicted this career move way back in, I believe it was April, when that Jackass started commiting business suicide by threatning those that dared speak out about how tax money was being wasted. Actually, I predicted a choice of two career moves, the first being a 4X larger version of Danny Devito in the movie Matilda as the used car salesman that used super super-glue to glue bumpers back on cars and who crawled under cars with a drill set in reverse on the odometer cable to reverse the mileage in them. Seeing as though this career move would have required the use of major muscle groups other than those connecting a gold-plated jawbone to a cranial cavity containing a mushy blob of gray-matter that's been short-circuited by Soapboxmom, that, coupled with the fact there's not a jack that would lift a vehicle high enough to allow the Lord and Master of the Internet to get under it, obviously has caused Mr. Holbrook to choose the least strenuous of the two to pay his bills.

Heather Dobrott • Don Holbrook's latest bankruptcy shows that he is working for an outfit that hawks timeshares. What pray tell happened to the hundreds of successful projects worth billions of dollars that created 50,000 jobs? What happened to his career as an economic development consultant extraordinaire??? Hawking timeshares is one step above working as a used car salesman selling Pintos! Judging from his behavior online, perhaps they hired him to publicly shower the disgruntled clients with legal threats and insults. He has the charm of a bull in a china closet to be sure!!!

Don Holbrook • Heather, I work and make a living at a very reputable publicly traded company as their speaker. You on the other hand do not work, do nothing reputable and are a sarcastic sicko who seems self-absorbed with me. Why don't you get off your FAT ASS and go do something that actually helps people. GET A REAL JOB in the REAL WORLD and do something constructive for a huge change and leave me, my family any my livelihood alone. You are one dark and disgruntled individual. Everyone sees you for what you are... a malicious cyber stalker with too much time on her hands. GET A LIFE! REALLY find a way to do something useful on this planet beside waste oxygen each day on your pitiful lack of a real life.
You chose to start this fight. You are getting exactly what you wanted, right? Did you really think your legal threats, vicious personal attacks and laughable suit would silence the bloggers and mainstream media reporting on various matters? Let the sparring continue I say!

You had the opportunity to quote and refute any false statements of fact made by any party and apparently were unable to do so. All you were able to do was have a huge meltdown all over the internet and with the advice of a quite foolish attorney file a frivolous, harassment case against half of the planet. Enjoy the fruits of your labor!!!
