I would sooner get my health advice from this fella than Al Sills.

If you don't want to go to far, watch the video and compare it to the company disclaimer. Thinking about peddling this potion, take a hard look at the distributor agreement. If 10-20 years from now people start dropping like flies, will the company stand behind you? I can only concur that MLM'ers that make oodles more than medical professionals consider the risk equation. Maybe Al can sell you a Nevada Corporation, they are da bomb in the huckster community. Kardashians Are Slammed with $5 Million QuickTrim Diet Pill Lawsuit - Business Insider

What I see, overall is longer term studies are needed. But, none of that is as important as building healthy downline.

Re: Alan Sills, Alansills.com. Knowlegeable business builder, or dangerous to your wallet?
A big happy new year to Alan's wallet from your bank account. I was so hoping Alan had taken stock of all the things he has been wrong about, turned over a new leaf, and found himself an honest job. He does fess up to having a job, sort of odd for someone who ridicules "JOBS". Oh well.
To recap the video. Arginine Alan is still is a big believer but he appears to be moving to a new company to peddle it. He has given up the ghost on Rippln http://www.realscam.com/f9/rippln-py...u-decide-2241/, as he claims "I have always had some concerns with the CEO" WTF?????????????????
So let's get this straight, Alan.Sills is someone who has no issue recruiting people into a scheme where he has problems with the CEO? Of course elsewhere he praises Chris Smith the CEO of Banners Broker, a man who has owed affiliates money for over a year. Leaving out the vendor switch for Arginine completely, WHAT THE HELL IS ALAN SILLS CRITERIA for asking people to invest money in one of the numerous ventures he is peddling?
Final take away is his opportunity in gold and silver. I have not dug into this, but the way he references this he has links where he can make a buck on your purchases.

They all have jobs. And they need others with jobs so they can steal their money. The whole scammer schpeel is hypocritical if you really analyze it. Perfect example is that letter LRM posted about WCM777. There's so much hypocrisy in that it will make your head spin.

Yeppers, Alan's only discernable business or skill so far as I can see involves making a JOB out of signing people up for **** who in turn get a JOB signing yet more people up. He may as well be dressed as the Statue Of Liberty or a Chicken waving people into strip malls from the the side of the road.
Reminds me of this as well.
A (MLM) Skeptic: Why Is Robert Kiyosaki Trying to Shoehorn MLM onto his Cashflow Quadrant in the WRONG Quadrant?
The MLMers will say that it's in "B" quadrant. In fact, even Kiyosaki claimed that "network marketing is what I recommend for people who want to move to the B quadrant".
WRONG!
Let's consider the facts: what exactly do you own when it comes to network marketing?
You own your customer list, and you own your "genealogy" (i.e. your downlines), nothing more. In fact, in some cases, you own even less than that, esp. if it's written into your affiliate agreement that you don't own ANY OF WHAT.
You do NOT own a system. You paid to use a marketing system. You are just a salesperson. So that makes you neither B nor I. At best, you're E or S.
Ah, but you say, but I own a sales team! That's something, right?
No, as I said. You don't own that, esp. when most MLMs will SUE YOU if you try to poach your downline and move them to some other MLM you are joining.
What does that leave you?
NOTHING other than some "business skills"... But that just moves you from E to S, not to B.

Re: Alan Sills, Alansills.com. Knowlegeable business builder, or dangerous to your wallet?
Just when I thought Alan Sills was coming around and letting people get the full story behind his slopportunities. He seems to be back deleting dissenting views. I love the part where he says he has a "head for business", yet he keeps getting involved in scams. Which in and of itself is not so bad, but all the scams he gets in require recruiting.
Other than his prissy attitude and the ole business has risk, what really bothers me is this clown does not have a "head for business". He has no earthly idea how to tell a scam from a real business.

Oh, he does. He knows enough that it requires real money, work, and knowledge. That's why all these assclown think it's easier to grift not realizing they are working harder at not working.

I often wonder about that, not just with Pyramid/Ponzi stuff, but with MLM. The people who "seem" to be making a solid income are recruiting hundreds if not thousands into their downlies. Then they have to keep hunting when scams blow up, or people drop out. That hardly seems passive, and most of these "experts" appear to be living hand to mouth.
The "location neutral lifestyle" that Alan is always yammering about leaves me a bit hollow.

I don't believe for a second he has more than one mailbox. I doubt he can afford gas to move his domicile much less more than one box rent.

Re: Alan Sills, Alansills.com. Knowlegeable business builder, or dangerous to your wallet?
Well the missus just got home, so playtime is over. :crying_2: But not before me explain to my bestie Al about the dangers of Arginine.
Arginine use was associated with death in some people with heart conditions. Caution is also needed when using arginine to treat pre-eclampsia (high blood pressure in pregnancy).
Arginine hydrochloride has been used to treat metabolic alkalosis. This use should be under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
Arginine Background - Drugs and Supplements - Mayo Clinic
(!)Let's face it, screw the Mayo clinic if you want sound medical advice go to U-Tube. MLM companies have a terrific track record of putting the bestest ingredients in a bottle and not telling lies about their benefits. End of day, people's health is never as important as building your downLIE.(!)

The warnings about death from Arginine have been deleted from Al's channel. Can't say as I am surprised, Alan is a shithead (one of many) who seem to care more about money in their pockets than giving a full picture of the "opportunities" they present. In my opinion of course, maybe I have it all wrong.
=================================================
There is a serious financial (never mind moral) risk to peddling supplements if things go wrong, highlighted most notably in the case below. As an IBO of any of these MLM WONDER POTIONS the distributor is very likely 100% personally liable if sued. Each person has to decide what is the right level of risk/reward for them when they consider entering a business.
The family of a fashion designer who suffered a fatal stroke while working out with a personal trainer claimed in a lawsuit filed yesterday that the woman's death was caused by the nutritional supplements her trainer instructed her to take.
Health Club and Trainer Are Sued in a Death - NYTimes.com
You—as a personal trainer—can be sued if you recommend dietary supplements to your clients. This is a fact most people never consider when they decide to become involved with supplements. This can happen whether you are a trainer working at a gym or if you are a self employed personal trainer.
There is no liability waiver and no personal trainer liability insurance that will protect you if you are sued because of supplements you recommend. In fact, personal trainer liability insurance policies sometimes even say up front that if you are sued because of dietary supplement recommendations, they will not help you.

Re: Alan Sills, Alansills.com. Knowlegeable business builder, or dangerous to your wallet?
Alan.Sills has a new video instructing people on how to ID "legitimate" work from home opportunities, a bit like Justin Bieber shooting manners short. Considering how colossal some of the scams Sills has promoted let's review the following from the video:
1. "Trading Hours for Dollars" if you hear any version of this in a presentation at best you are being pitched MLM, at worst a Ponzi/Pyramid Scam. While there is always a one off, find the most successful person(s) you know and they work, chances are a lot. To say otherwise files in the face of reality. (If a product based pitch and less than 50% is being sold to people not in the business it very likely is an illegal pyramid as highlighted here. The telltale signs of a pyramid scheme | Consumer Information)
2. "Residual Income" This is another buzzword that is thrown around Rich Dad/Liar Dad Robert Kiyosaki Land, many times with some variation of 1. Want residual income, make up a rich dad and stories about him. Or sell other crap to people who desperately want a residual income, works like a charm. But you must consider is the person tossing these words around really able to provide you residual income, or do they just want to sell you a dream? For instance, Kiyosaki never made it in MLM, so who would know better than he?
3. "Leverage, Team, Overrides" Problem is everyone in the team is being sold the same lie about residual income while they sleep. Hence the 99% failure rate and almost certain losses in MLM. Which is why Al et. al. have to continually shoot videos to find fresh money, if they had 1,2 & 3 their "team" would be making the videos and they would be "mentoring".
4. "Mentor" There have been people in my life who have helped me personally and professionally so I take no issue with a mentor per se. The question becomes is the mentor trying to sell you something? Would a true mentor not be willing to have you work for them, pay you a reasonable wage, and let you learn the ropes? Al mentions both the insurance agent and the real estate broker in his video. Last I looked, most agency owners worked in the industry for a period of time and then struck out on their own.

================================================== ==
If you are looking at "work at home" there is some good reading out there.
Two final thoughts:
1. It is almost impossible to make more money at home than someone would already pay for your skill set. If you are making $10 per hour and someone is offering you $50 an hour antenna need to go up.
2. If you are asked for cash up front, it is almost certainly a scam. If you are asked to send part of a check, and/or goods ditto. Even if not illegal, do you want a garage full of protein shakes or makeup? If people could sell the stuff, they would not be advertising and unloading it on you.

You are correct, 2:40 https://twitter.com/alan_sills not a fan of trading hours for dollars.
