after a few days I received proposals, conduct an interview, and finally I found the right person. My project is only a small scale about €200, then I make a deposit as much as €100 on demand freelancer (My Sellers), The deposit automatically placed in escrow. Long story short, a few days later he sent most of his work and asked me to release the escrow on PeoplePerHour. of course without being asked I will be happy to release the money, but of course I had to check out their work first. so I told him to wait at least one day.

well after that I think he is done pretty good job, so I went to the PeoplePerHour to pay him, but guess what, I can not even login to the site, the page is still kept telling me that the email or password is incorrect, I am sure that I never change anything including the email or password, I tried to reset my password, but still it was not going well, the page still gives information about the same even though I have reset my password, then I decided to wait one day, maybe the site is experiencing problems.

on the second day I still can not get into the site, and of course I got dozens of messages from a freelancer he kept asking payment, I'm confused, I tried to contact the support of peopleperhour, I kept looking but I did not find any menus to contact support, which I find just the feedback button at the right bottom of the site. I've given up with this site and then I returned to the freelancer and offer direct payments to him. he refused loudly and cursing me, and kept accusing me of a scammer and of course he did not continue his job.

two days later, I received an email from peopleperhour. saying that "Unfortunately we have been unable to verify your account electronically" and they ask millions of documents like Passport, Driving Licence, National Identification Card (photographic), Citizenship Certificate, Tax Bill, Copy of Bank Statement, Credit or Debit Card Bank Statement. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS??, if they ask for it should be done at the beginning of the deposit process, instead of waiting nearly a week and received verbal abuse from freelancers. I certainly think twice to submit these documents, it is very dangerous if you do so nowdays,. and of course I discussed it with some friends, and I was surprised, among them are those who experience the same thing, he followed the request of Peopleperhour to send that documents. and guess what, a month later she was called by local police over her alleged crimes are referred to the documents that she had been sent, so the conclusion of these documents was leaked.

There is no other way after this I will be forced to consult with the bank.

Thank you for reading and be careful

I have experienced the similar issues with PPH. They deducted some fees from my PPH accound for "not being active " within a sertain amount of time and when I asked to withdraw the rest of the money they requested the bank statement ( please note - in the PPH term &conditions is clearly said that its possible to withdraw money via PayPal). I sent them a shorten version of my bank statement, but they rejected pushing to provide a real one. Dont know what to do, because I do not understant why they requested it
