Wow, the Advancing Income Kit scam is still going strong. This is another work at home scam that I thought would have changed its name by now. My guess is that after the holidays the people behind it will change it's name.

If you think the program is legit after reading through that warning, I may have a bridge you might want to buy. You may have run across a few different sites with AdvancingIncome in the name. Here's the bottom line about what each of them are:

AdvancingIncome.com - the main site for the dubious Advancing Income kit.
AdvancingIncome.net - appears to be an affiliate promoting the Advancing Income work from home program
AdvancingIncome.org - again, appears to be an affiliate promoting the Melissa Johnson program

The system is being promoted by the notorious fake news site Career Journal Online (found at CareerJournalOnline.com and CareerJournalOnline.org). I have that fake news site on my list of sites to avoid in 2014.

It's also worth noting that the main page of the sales page on Advancing Income.com has testimonials that mention specific incomes. Why is that worth noting? Because according to the FTC final guidelines governing endorsements and testimonials:

" In contrast to the 1980 version of the Guides – which allowed advertisers to describe unusual results in a testimonial as long as they included a disclaimer such as “results not typical” – the revised Guides no longer contain this safe harbor."
