It appears that the head of Global Fuel Aviation Systems, previously subject to a court order regarding securities fraud in Arizona, is back and scamming again with an interstate sports gambling ring in violation of a rather famous Federal wire act in 1961.

Some of his confirmed contact info includes:
702-505-2012
702-759-3758
ideas991@gmail.com
ideas991@yahoo.com
ideas991@post.com (possibly dead now, but it appeared in older ads)
gafsusa@gmail.com
337 east eldorado lane, Las Vegas, Nevada 89123

He calls his scheme "money trees," and utilizes at least two different gambling operations in Costa Rica,
plus he appears to be using Western Union and Moneygram for movement of funds to and from
his members to hide his tracks.

I am so embarrassed that I let someone scam me out of close to $300..I should of been shot...this is recent, and I tried to change the password on that sports betting site he had me go to. Sad to say, the sports site is all in on the scam too! I tried to close my account, and they said I couldnt cause I still had money in it! What kind of world are we living in? I believe s-i-c-k. I perform due dilligence on everything else I do, but did not do on this...And people want to know why i am untrusting. Really????

I wouldn't get too down on yourself if I were you, Amanda.

Some of these guys are expert at what they do, it's how they get to survive for so long.

Everyone can have 20/20 hindsight after the event, the important thing is, you caught on quickly and won't repeat the mistake again, unlike many victims who stay get caught time after time.

Believe it or not, there's a lot of science involved in successfully running one of these things.

When you get a combination of someone experienced AND proven techniques, even the most vigilant among us can get caught up.

BTW, welcome to the forum.

I would recommend filing with your local law enforcement over the matter, as Bob is breaking a number of laws that exceed the $300 damages you sustained from his fraud, Amanda.

Here is How "Vegas Bob" has treated us...theUSCguys...

We are 6 guys who became friends many years ago while attending USC. Today, 3 of us live
in Las Vegas and 3 live in southern california. We share many interests including sports and
sportswagering in las Vegas...somehow we find a way to make a few bucks although we are
too busy to learn more about sportswagering, and there is much to learn.

Last August 3rd we started a Money Tree with "Vegas Bob", we opened our account at Sam's
Town Sportsbook in Las Vegas. We each threw in $1000 so our tree began with $6000. Since
we control all monies, we felt comfortable with $6000. He charged us $150 to get started and
said no more fees until our Money Tree "doubles" to $12,000 or 30 days of service whichever
takes longer. He said it takes about 60 days to "double" most trees so we expected our tree
to grow to $12,000 by early October. He sent us the daily wagers by email and also told us how
much to wager. One of our group living in Las Vegas made the wagers for us at Sam's Town usually by
phone or computer. Unfortunately, our tree quickly sank to $4200! The problem was our guy was
not following instructions, not making all the wagers and even adding his own wagers which usually
lost. To fix this, "Vegas Bob" started inputing all wagers for us. Then our tree started to grow and "doubled"
on September 14th, ahead of schedule. So we paid him $150 in the beginning and he generated a
$6000 profit for us in 42 days. We then cashed in the tree for $12,000 and started over with 6
individual trees, I started mine with $5000 which has since grown to $14,000. We are all happy
with our trees. We have not done any progressions yet but "Vegas Bob" plays small 4-play
progressions for us in our money trees and they have greatly contributed to the fast growth of
our trees. His fees continue now at about 5% of profit so for every $100 of profit, he gets $5 and
we get $95. My understanding is his fees never exceed 10% of monthly profit and if no profit, there
are no fees. He has suggested that I, for example, now withdraw my original $5000 investment. I
will after the new year.

Last Sunday all 6 of us were together in Las Vegas. On Sunday, rather than haggle for an hour
among ourselves over what to wager, we contacted "Vegas Bob" and he sold us 3 plays for Sunday
for $30 per player or $180 total for 6 guys. He gave us a morning , afternoon and evening play so we could roll
each one over for more profit, which I decided to do. We usually do 2 plays and very seldom go 2-0.
He told us to do 3 plays and his plays went 3-0. I started by wagering $1100 on Cincy Bengals
game total over 41, won the wager and rolled the entire $2100 on the Chicago Bears in the afternoon which also
won so now I have $4100. I then wagered $2200 on Marquette -6 in the early evening which also won.
I ended the day making $5100 on my original $1000 morning wager. So I made $5100 and Vegas Bob
got $30 from me and we offered to write a testamonial for him.

Sportswagering is very profitable if you associate with folks like "Vegas Bob" who are knowledgeable and
will reduce your risk and the huge amount of time you need to study and analyze. What is impressive about
"Vegas Bob" is that he has already made over 400 wagers for us while growing our money trees. It takes
time and effort and competency to win making that many wagers. So theUSCguys are very pleased with
the sevices of "Vegas Bob" and we will get together in Las Vegas again in early December to do this again.

The problem isn't that he's doing sports wagers, theUSCguys. It's that he's doing it in a fashion which itself illegal, over email, phone, and Internet. And having viewed his ads, he is soliciting additional clientele via the Internet, which violates the same law.

His email ads also violate FTC guidelines on financial claims and personal testimonials, if you look up the changes that went into affect in 2009.

Lastly, he has a prior securities fraud matter on his court record. What do they teach out there at USC about legal matters?

Higgins....please cease with your bs....you are not being truthful. Two of our guys are attorneys and how we are conducting our sports wagering in Las Vegas is completely legal and our government is enjoying a few extra tax dollars. Get your butt to Las Vegas and check out sports wagering here and how it is changing with technology. All the stuff you are complaining about has been in use for a few years here and approved by the Nevada Gaming Commission and all 200+ licensed sportsbooks.

We looked into the Arizona Securities Fraud. What a joke! Arizona actually scammed Global

We looked into the so-called Arizona Securities Fraud conviction. What a joke! It's backwards...the State of Arizona actually scammed Global Aviation and Vegas Bob!!

Almost all states allow folks with new investment ideas to "test the water" and advertise new investment ideas before they are registered. A violation occurs if monies are accepted before securities are registered. With that in mind, a few years ago Global Aviation advertised their investment opportunity in Craigslist in several states to determine if anyone was interested. The information they provided was very detailed and many potential investors were identified and sent information. However no money was ever received by Global Aviation. Once they discovered the interest level was high they researched the time, fees and paperwork involved to register in each state. They determined that the fees were too high and the paperwork too much so they stopped advertising. In the meantime many states contacted them and explained their process for registering securities and policy about "testing the water". Only Arizona was a jerk and insisted upon a $2500 fine because you can not "test the water" in Arizona.

This is an easy $2500 for Arizona so instead of helping the advertisers, they insist upon the fine which is a scam and it continues today. Instead of helping small business in Arizona, it is policies and scams like this that drive companies like Global Aviation out of Arizona. Today, about the only thing Arizona has left to sell is "sunshine." Good luck! Global Aviation found other sources of funds and never expanded into Arizona as planned. The new jobs created went to Georgia. Global is a very highly regulated repair shop for fuel pumps for commercial jets. They are regulated by the FAA which originally approved the Craigslist adverting campaign. Global is staffed with over 20 highly trained and educated mechanics and engineers and they are not scamming anybody!

theUSCguys will continue our successful sportswagering with Vegas Bob. Yesterday morning we legally made $1000+ on the Packers and we gave the money to our local Salvation Army in the afternoon so more folks could enjoy Thanksgiving.

You could have discovered this same info about Global Aviation in an hour or two. You would have served your audience better than by assumming the State of Arizona was the good guy and Global Aviation was nothing but a securities fraud scammer. This time the State of Arizona was the scammer and they are still scamming Craiglist advertisers today

Do they recognize what FTC Publishes Final Guides Governing Endorsements, Testimonials (http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2009/10/endortest.shtm) was talking about?

Hmm. Could "Vegas Bob" be structuring one or more bank accounts to avoid reports from his bank to the government as required by law?

Something strange showed up in his latest report to his members, titled "<<."Black Friday" was Good for Money Trees! Another $80 to $4100 for Your Family. We Want to Pay Your Holiday Bills!"

This, right after telling people how he and some friends donated $9,000 to charity:

Bad Bad Bad News! You are not withdrawing enough money from your trees. I asked you to withdraw 10% monthly from every tree over $5000 and 20% monthly from every tree over $20,000. You need to do this...call me if you need another explanation.

And then this, later in the email,

Please..Please....Keep Withdrawing funds from your Money Trees...they are growing too fast.

Why...Because Football, Basketball and Hockey seasons are now underway and we are winning and making "Big Bucks"!

11-30-2011, 02:19 PM
Higgins you are a weird thinker...

My money tree funds are sitting in an account at Sam's Town in Las Vegas. It was suggested to me that I "withdraw" my original startup money ($5000) over a 60 day period to avoid high withdrawal fees. My Tree will then grow without any risk on my part...all house money. We were told to do this many times and I will do so after January 1. Sam;s Town will prepare a 1099 for me for gambling winnings in 2011. It has nothing to do with his bank acccount at all. Never has never will. Please stop your "wacko" criticism and pontificating....you do not know what you are talking about and continue to make yourself look very foolish.

ProfHenryHiggins
11-30-2011, 03:29 PM
Now why on Earth would there be higher withdrawal fees for taking out a large lump sum than for making several smaller transactions in the month, pray tell?
Common sense would seem to argue that the single transaction would lose less to the fee.

Or I could just invite a representative of Sam's Town over to realscam to discuss their company policies on racketeering and what they do to people trying to pull that kind of thing through their service. We are just one group among hundreds of thousands of folks who have accounts in Las Vegas with sportsbooks like Sam's Town and wager a few billion dollars every year. You will go broke trying to prove Sam's Town is doing anything improper. Sportswagering is growing worldwide with technology and everybody will be happy very soon.....when the government finally gets the taxes they yearn for. You fail reading comprehension or something? I never said that Sam's Town was doing anything wrong. They are licensed and overseen by the Nevada government.
However, as I pointed out before, what Robert is doing advertising and soliciting into other states via the Internet IS wrong. And the law in question has been on the books since the 1960s, has been enforced many times, and its' applicability to the Internet environment has been upheld in court.

This isn't just a tax issue. Get that through your tiny ear and into your brain.

Sportsbettors like us have been playing "progressions" like he promotes for years in Las Vegas. But we did not have anybody to help us until he came along. We play them at least once a week, our favorite is to play for 3to4to5 "winners which pay 8 to 1.16 to1 and 32 to 1. Obviously. a player does not have to win very often to make money. He has several stategies which he will teach you if you are interested. And he has a "free" progression play for you almost every day and 3 or 4 every saturday and sunday. Yesterday, Dec. 18th, we won a 3 play progression for a $1600 profit in just 8 hours. He gave us KC Chiefs +15 in the morning, NE Patriots -7 in the afternoon and Baltimore-SD game total over 41 in the evening. And he did not charge any fees for the progression. Everybody who loves sportsbetting, money and "a little fun" should play their progressions. They provide excellent ideas and excellent service, theUSCguys wholeheartedly endorse all their services.

Tonite we have the Steelers-49er's under 41 points as we begin a new progression.

By the way, that is an accurate ad and a very good ad. I am sure they are glad you posted it. We encourage folks to play progressions under their program and guidance. We are having fun and making money with all their programs.

Everybody who loves sportsbetting, money and "a little fun" knows full well that the ONLY system that works is picking winners....
This guy sells you nothing that you can't do for free yourself without a little time and effort....

"Progressions" or "All up" betting as we call it here in Aus are exotic bets what should be add on bets and not your main bets if you wish to profit from sports betting....

You say, " Obviously. a player does not have to win very often to make money."....This is true but that's only cos they so hard to get right.....
Based on the odds they pay out Vegas bob could give you a progression every day but only needs to get one of them progressions right in a week for you to make some cash and then claim that he walks on water....

Only newbies and suckers pay for picks....Smart punters do their own homework and pick their own....

Smart punters laugh at people like Vegas Bob.....It's easy to be smart when you not betting with your own cash....
And he only charges you a fee when you win??....LOL....Does he pay you a fee when you lose?????.....
Bob can pick you ANY rubbish and he wins every time....You win, you pay him....You lose you don't pay him....He risks nothing and has nothing to lose....So Bob wins every time.....

As for all the legal discussion here about Bob and what he does....I don't know and I don't care.....
But I am a keen sports punter and I make good money from it.....And I would never pay anyone for picks....Only suckers do that....

There are 4 rules for success in sports betting.....Follow them and you can't go wrong....
1)Only bet on a "2 horse race"....In other words only bet on team A to beat team B....Avoid sports like soccer which are a 3 horse race cos a draw at 90 mins and you lose...
2)Avoid exotic bets....Stuff like first team or player to score are sucker bets there to make money for the house....
3)Always bet with your head...Never with your heart....You'd be amazed how much you can profit from betting against your own team if you follow this rule....
4)Never bet above your means....set a limit and stick to it.....Never chase your money.....You will only lose doing this....Betting on the night game to get back what you lost during the day is a fools bet....

Boy there is an old wives tale for you....just do it yourself....it just takes a little time and effort. Oh do the sportsbooks like to hear this, just more pigs will go slaughter and go broke.
The average player needs plenty of help, they will never have enough time to keep up with all there is to learn, never in a hundred years. The issue is being able to or lucky to find people who can help us win.

You do not need guys like Vegas Bob, you know what you are doing. But we would go broke following your 4 rules. But we need Vegas Bob, he makes us money and his fees are incredibly low....the lowest we have ever seen. We will be sticking with him for a long time.

We use Vegas Bob and two other sports services because they do help us with everything including saving us time, money management and making us money....more money than we have ever made before. But it took us a few years to find these folks.

Please, do not tell us that we are not being helped when in fact we are being helped. Please do not tell us we are being taken advantage of when we are very happy with the services. We have no complaints....none....not one.

Considering that he also advertised that same ad in Atlanta, Georgia, the fraud I waned you about before has continued, theUSCGuys.
Namely, the law against sports wagering across state lines.

And considering the consistency of his "wins" I'm starting to suspect that he's running a Ponzi here, paying investors off with money from other investors. That's just a hunch, mind you, without definite evidence like I have of his violations of the Wire Act.

You know... I may just drop all this in the hands of the IRS via Form 3949-A, and let the tax men make sure that all of Bob's clients are paying what they owe on what they earn from him. The numbers he's claiming are high enough that the proper tax forms ought to be being filed for each winner. Why don't I do that and make sure that they are?

theUSCguys

This sportswagering business that you so dislike has been around for about a 100 years and is now booming all over the world. Recent growth has come from "Fantasy Sports" and future growth will be fueled by technology. It is impossible to halt the growth, it is easier to tax it.

Vegas Bob, Don Best, Jim Fiest, Covers and EOG and 50,000 other guys have sportsbetting websites but none have investors or any type of Ponzi schemes because none of them ever get the investment money, that money goes to the sportsbooks all over the world, 200 of these are in Las Vegas.

We pay Vegas Bob a few bucks per month to teach us the sportswagering business, to help us stratigize and for his advice, consulting and suggestions for daily wagers to keep our Money Trees, Progression Plays and over-the counter wagers winning rather than losing. Tonite I paid Vegas Bob $10, he told me to wager on Indiana in college basketball. I am at Ceasar's Palace so I wagered $1100 to win $1000. I expect to win. The result will be...Vegas Bob gets $10, I win a $1000 and Caeser's Palace loses $1000. That's how it goes everyday and that is not a Ponzi scheme. You either win or lose, my pocket has cash or is empty. We use guys like Vegas Bob and Sportsinvestors to keep us winning. Fortunetly for Caesar's Palace Sportsbook, most people lose lose lose which makes Caesar's management very happy.

Sportsbooks do provide us with all necessary tax documents which we file with our returns.

Since you are so concerned about a Ponzi Scheme, why don't you fix the one which is hurting all of us everyday.....our screwed up Social Security System.

If you are looking for schemes and scams just start with Taxation Policy at the White House and State Houses. You will find hundreds of taxes that are just scams to generate revenue. They are destroying our country..

Well, well, well,

now we KNOW, with absolute certainty there's something illegal going on WRT Robert Neklewicz a.k.a. "Vegas Bob.

When people start with the tired old "Social Security is a ponzi" argument to justify their behaviour, there's no need to look any further for evidence of wrongdoing.

Mr "USC student" is conveniently forgetting to point out that Prof Higgins has repeatedly explained he is talking about Robert Neklewicz a.k.a. "Vegas Bob ACCEPTING SPORTS BETS ACROSS STATE LINES IN THE UNITED STATES.

ProfHenryHiggins
Re: Robert Neklewicz a.k.a. "Vegas Bob"

What do they teach out there at USC about legal matters?

http://www.realscam.com/f8/robert-neklewicz-k-vegas-bob-927/#post12817

Now, if "the USC guys" want to argue the law is wrong, unjust or silly, that's a completely different matter for a completely different time and completely different forum.

However, as things stand it IS the law and Robert Neklewicz a.k.a. "Vegas Bob is breaking it.

Take it easy on the poor child, Mom.

It appears he has a vision impairment and can't see what he's typed unless it's bold.

I can't imagine a "law student" would think using a large, bolded and/or coloured font would enhance his argument, so a vision impairment seems the most likely reason for its' continued usage, in which case he deserves our pity and not our criticism.

As for the "social security is a ponzi" argument, talk about stretched logic.

We don't even have to get into an discussion as to whether Social Security IS a "ponzi"

Capital punishment is legal in Texas, I believe.

Does that make it OK for Texas citizens to murder people ??

Does the US Constitution have a "tit for tat" clause ??

i.e. "The government does something with which I don't agree, therefore I can break the law too"

Who knows, maybe they teach "Nonsense 101" in law schools now.

Very funny.

Now if Vegas Bob isn't accepting money, why is he advertising and soliciting for people to come wager with him?
Why do his emails to those who respond to his ads include statements about unnamed individuals making X dollars from Y investment amount that they sent him?

As far as these others you name, well, I could contact them and point out how this thread is dragging their names through someone elses' mud. Or I could investigate them and report irregularities.

Jim Feist apparently has a bad rep even in Vegas itself:

Nice history of fraud and bad business practices there.

Now, either play nice and honor Soapboxmom's reasonable request as the site moderator here, or I may have to say something blunt and to the point.
One might also do well to remember that governments often write loopholes in laws, allowing them to do things not otherwise permitted to
their citizens, or granting specific exemptions to a business they support. Case in point: Monopolies are illegal in the United States of America, with
one notable exception. Major League Baseball was granted immunity from the anti-trust act.
In a similar vein, Social Security, being a government-run program, is exempt from laws against schemes of the kind that Charles Ponzi made famous.
That doesn't assure anyone that it is well-run, however. Recall the time when the US government tried to run a whorehouse in Nevada.

The simple answer is that he offers for the punters to give him access to their money(via the money tree method) and he will place the bets for them.....This is for the lazy punters....
Of course one can just pay the $150 per month and then place the bets themself after getting the email with the picks....

With those who pay the $150 knowing the bets b4 they are made I would doubt that he is running a ponzi scheme....

Of course I know what I'm doing...That's why I make profit from it....
You too can learn....I'll teach you....And I'll do it for free....

A couple more simple rules to help you win....
Never bet in the first 3 weeks of the season.....You got no form to go by....You throwing darts at the board....

From the half way mark of the season onwards if you bet only on favorits you'll win 75-80% of the time....That's better then Bob's 60% target....

How hard is it to look up a teams previous performance at the venue they playing at this week??....All teams go on the road so look up this info and you halfway there to picking the winner....

It's not rocket science...Just use your brain....

okosh

We use Vegas Bob and two other sports services

This is where your argument falls flat on it's face....

If Bob is so wonderful and he makes you all this money then why the need for 2 others just like him??????????.....

Here is another FREE lesson for you....
Limit how many games you bet on per week.....If you bet on every game you are bound to lose....
In Aussie football there are 8 games per week....I bet on no more then 3 of them....

And never chase big odds....You'll lose more times then you win....
Football is a 2 horse race....If the sportsbook got one of the teams at $3 or more for a dollar then they done this for good reason....Sportsbooks are not stupid....They know what they doing...
Be happy with $1000 on a team paying $1.20 for a dollar which gives you 20% or $200 profit....Not bad return in 2 hours!!!
If team A is at $1.20 then team B will be over $3 and you'll be lucky if the team at $3 wins 1 in 10 times....

And don't stick to the one sportsbook....You can often improve your return by 5% or more if you shop around....

One wonders why the (presumably) high priced lawyers for Bernie Madoff didn't try the "Social Security is a ponzi" defense during such a high profile trial.

Perhaps they didn't/don't have the benefit of a USC Lawschool education.

I must admit, though, I find it slightly disappointing that such self proclaimed well educated defenders of illegal activities stooped to the level of the lowest newbie HYIP ponzi stooge with the Social Security/taxation red herring argument and oversized, coloured and bolded fonts.

Vegas Bob is more than wonderful but "Come-on Man" you know why we need others. One, we wager in soccer and Vegas Bob does not offer service in soccer. Also, sometimes we need a selection and we can not make contact with one service so you need to call others. Last night we called SportsInvestors about the Laker-Clipper game, they had no opinion so we called Vegas Bob and he said do a parlay for $500....Steelers 2nd half under 17.5 and LA Clippers. I did, but for $1000 and won $2400!

I am sure your rules work for you, they are good rules but we need much more help than your rules.. There are 7 guys in our group now, we have a huge bankroll and wager thousands of dollars per day.

Vegas Bob should increase his fees, they are way too low. He charges a onetime $150 fee for the first month. Then 2 to 5% of our monthly profit and if no profit, then no fee. Currently if I make $20,000 for the month, he gets $400, I get $19,600, seems fair to me considering SportsInvestors cost us $1495 per month just for soccer! Then I put extra cash in the bank and my banker insults me by paying 1% annual. So Vegas Bob helps me on the frontend and my banker screws me on the backend. There is another scam for you guys...our banking system!

Sadly, the stockmarket and real estate markets now have become become "gambles". This is what we call "coin flip" betting....You betting on 50/50 chances....Two even teams with a 50/50 chance of winning....
No wonder bob says he looks for a 60% strike rate of winners.....
A bloody chimpanzee could pick for you on the same games and get it right 60% of the time!!!!!

I have been sportswagering for 25 years made over 50,000 wagers and I have a huge bankroll.

Which you keep topping up from your pocket each time you have a bad run at then coin flips Bob gives you....
There is no way on earth you can win consistantly playing 5-6 coin flips per day like you claim....(5-6 being 50,000 bets divided by 9125 days or 25 years)....
Even 2 coin flips per day you'll end up a loser over time....

I am at the point where I consider my activity sports investing, not gambling. Table games and slot machines are gambling activities to be avoided.

Now that's the smartest thing you've said so far.....Table games and slots are there for fun only.....Sportsbetting if done right can return a great income....

BTW...For fun I play roulette....On the $2.50 table I cover 50% of the field and gamble about $180 per spin with a $1000 bank roll....In the past year I've won more times then I've lost with average win being about 2K....

50,000 is about right because when I first started I was making mostly $5 wagers. Today, I am sure I average 25 per week. Technology and instant info has changed everything in Las Vegas. Now the sportsbooks will even allow laptops and cellphones in the betting area and wagering by computer to avoid standing in line. This has led to much more wagering on halftimes and quarters by points, moneylines and totals. And now we can even wager on games as they are being played, called "live in-game" wagering.

I bet on the College of Charleston against Louisvile last night while one of the other USCguys made the same wager in McGaw, China. The whole world wagers on american sports everyday.

Do not worry about my Bankroll. In the late 1980's I was working in the computer industry and bought a lot of Microsoft stock which did very well and gave me a bankroll for life.

I hope you make big bucks with your sportswagering.. However, we play a different way with great success. There are many ways to sportswager just develop one that works ....like you have and we have.

We expect to do well again tonite especially since we are taking Vegas Bob to dinner at Wynn's Steakhouse and we always expect a winner during dinner!
