If scam.com never comes back up and even if it does, with all the deleted threads, there was a lot of great info there..

I wish I could go back and copy and paste some of the stuff I put up...

Who else feels this way?

I don't know about anything I personally wrote that would have been worth saving, but ther was some amazing and entertaining stuff there for sure. I know some things were saved, but not by me. Hard to say if they'll ever see the light of a screen again though. I'd hope so.

If and when it does come back up, a PM campaign should be started on there, going out to the better posters and giving them the link to this site, asap.

That will be one of the first things I do if and when the board comes back up!

I think most of the stuff is still there if you Google what you're looking for and click on Cache.

I found that old post last night about Lenny being in arrears with the Nevada SoS.

Took a while to load, but it still came up.

I sure had a few gems in almost 6000 posts, but alas all that hard work is in internet heaven. I am reduced to getting out my calculator and digging up all my goodies again. Many things are in exceedingly long threads and are not recoverable in the Google cache. <sigh>

Fortunately I saved my last two threads from Scum.com,in anticipation of more thread deletions,so these will be handy reference material.
Im sure it wont take long before the serious posters find this new forum. One of the good things re Scum.com was that new threads rapidly found their way onto early page search engine rankings.I never figured out wether that was clever marketing or just the engine crawlers doing this?.However if this forum can do the same then the news of Realscam.com will soon get around.

It will take time for this site to match the power of scum, I mean scam.com, on the search engines.

However, if you search for Yoli scam you will notice something curious. This Yoli thread is ranked number 2. Has anyone else here tried Yoli?

However, nothing happens when you try to get to that thread. Something's screwed up over at SCAM.com.

Nice work Lenny.

Now that scam dot com is back up, I have popped over there and copied some of my postings. While there I looked around, it seems that most of the posts recently there are in the MLM/Pyramid Scams and Political Chat sections and are by long time posters on already established threads.

It doesn't seem that new people are finding that site to ask questions about possible scams.

I just used BoardReader (http://boardreader.com/fp/scams_free_message_board_10809/MLM_Pyramid_Scams_564705.html) to pull up the stats for scam.com last week.

Seems Chrispy was the #1 poster with an astounding 127 posts!

(when does this guy find time to sell cookies anyhow?)

Not surprisingly, O'Heiney was in 2nd spot with 63 posts.

Owninator rounded out the top three with 62 posts.
