Pope Leo XIII used to carry one bottle with him all the time.
He awarded Angelo Mariani (the producer) with a Vatican gold medal.

you would be surprised at the percentage of the current western population regularly using addictive analgesia such as codiene,oxycodiene, oxycontin etc there has been some interesting studies done on it. check your countries stats or let me know which country and I will post it.
On another tack and using stats from USA/AUST/CAN/UK/DEN/FRA/GER/SPAIN and compliing them (I did a research paper on it a couple of years ago)...Today over 60% of aged persons in care facilities are on antidepressants of some kind..However only 5 percent and 8% of these (5%=men/8%=women) are actually clinically diagnosed with depression or anxiety. We regularly/ twice a day chemically sedate these oldies to stop them complaining about their conditions of living....Benzo's anyone?
It get worse as the clients get older.
Moral: dont have an opinion if you are in a home and never ever complain!
