I just discovered this site while I was doing research on Thomas C. O'Dell of Carlton Energy Group, and ran into the 'shitstorm' in the Charles Gregoire de Rothschild thread.

In any case, I've read that Thomas C. O'Dell was Corporate Vice President at Conoco Inc., President of Conoco Overseas Oil Company and Chairman of Du Pont Services, B.V.

That is quite the resume, but I haven't been able to substantiate any of it.

The reason I'm interested is, his website claims that he is a oil trader, and is involved in exploration and production of crude, NGL's domestically and abroad.

Well, I don't know how much any of you here know about the oil and gas industry, but it takes some serious coin to be all that he is claiming to be.

Then, according to PressRelease.com, he formed a JV with the inimitable Charles Gregoire de Rothschild.

In any case, if this guy is indeed an oil trader, I have some good opportunities to bring to his co., but the oil trading world has an underbelly, and it is LITTERED with guys that tell better fables than Aesop. Some of these guys are incredibly skilled at portraying themselves as legitimate businesspersons. His background lends him some credibility, if it is indeed real - but it is not unheard of for someone with legitimate business dealings at one point to go rogue.

It is concerning that I can't find anything on this guy of significance, and wanted to know if you all could help.

I think you have your answer right here: "Then, according to PressRelease.com, he formed a JV with the inimitable Charles Gregoire de Rothschild." don't you?

In your search for Thomas C. O'Dell, list all the sites you have utilized trying to confirm his resume. Have you checked the annual reports for the companies he claimed he was an executive?

Just want to make sure we aren't duplicating efforts. Look forward to your reply.

Why would you not just bring the opportunities to someone you already have an established relationship with? Or if you're in the industry ask around about the guy.

What I'm seeing here seems pretty easy to bullet proof using some type of an escrow account. He doesn't get paid until the product is delivered.

Hiya, EnquiringMind and welcome to REALSCAM.com (http://www.realscam.com)

Two questions arose for me when I read your post:

If Mr O'Dell DID, in fact, enter into a joint venture with Charles Gregoire de Rothschild,

1) Is he party to de Rothschilds' fraudulent activities ???

2) Are his due diligence skills so lacking he entered into an agreement with a known conman unwittingly ?
