Bill Marler is another of your basic run of the mill pyramid "gurus". But his methodology is a bit different. Bill really doesn't have a huge amount of "pull" on his own, i.e. he doesn't have that huge following of thousands like a Mack Mills or others. But Bill does have a pretty effective technique. He tries to just recruit a small number of "leaders" into a program, then he basically lets them do all the recruiting. Bill is content to make most of his dough from the residuals flowing up from the downlines of the big recruiters underneath him. Actually it's sorta smart (if you consider being involved in any of his programs smart that is).

Currently he's in the myEcon recruiting scheme with several other bigger names. Learn more here: myEcon Review: Third-party products and services & recruitment (http://behindmlm.com/mlm-reviews/myecon-review-third-party-products-and-services-recruitment/)

Oh, one other thing. Bill is also a FINANCIAL ADVISOR, at least according to his Facebook posts. I believe I've seen in the past where he's talked about having an office and advising clients. Not sure if he's still doing that, or if he's an actual licensed advisor. But if he is, hopefully he at least has the decency to not recommend any of his internet shenanigans to them. Even so, it doesn't look good for a supposed "professional" to be involved with such things. Last I heard Bill was living in Toms River, New Jersey.

There's quite a bit about Mr. Marler on Realscam, if someone wishes to do a search.

Funny how back in 2011 Bill Marler's message to you sounds so contrite and that if you'll delete the info about him he'll "try to learn from this." I guess he didn't. Surprise surprise.

This adviser is not currently registered, but I wonder based on the NJ nod if it could be him?

There are two others one in CA and one in AZ that are currently registered.

I'd wager is only clients are people on Facebook and Youtube or he wouldn't be bothering. No matter people can check him out for themselves and see if he holds himself to a fiduciary standard.

Financial advisors are currently regulated under two different standards of conduct.

Investment advisors registered with the SEC or a state securities regulator are fiduciaries, subject to the duty of loyalty and due care with their clients. They are typically compensated by asset management fees and are expected to act in the best interests of their clients. If they don't, they can be sued in a court of law.

Stockbrokers, broker-dealer representatives, insurance agents and others who provide investment advice, on the other hand, are regulated by the private-sector organization Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) or by state insurance regulators and are subject to a "suitability" standard of conduct.

Their investment recommendations must be suitable for investors based on their financial profiles, but those advisors are not required by law to act in their clients' best interest.

Bill's up to his usual tricks. He's unable to sign many people up directly, so he goes after big recruiters to do the heavy lifting for him. And now he's apparently GUARANTEEING MILLION DOLLAR RESULTS for people. Would LOVE to see Bill be forced to follow through on that promise when all of his signups fail. But Bill will be off peddling another shiny object soon and all his followers will be out of luck.

Anyone who believes that B/S is way beyond any help we can deliver.

Desperadoes only, I'm afraid.

What a swell guy, to be so concerned about the "little" people.
