Pensioner spends over seven years doing 5,000 piece jigsaw puzzle... then finds ONE bit is missing

It had cluttered up Jack Harris's dining table for almost eight years.

Nevertheless, the 86-year-old was determined to finish his five-foot long, 5,000-piece jigsaw.

And when he thought the painstaking process was complete, he stood back to admire his work - only to find a dog may have eaten the final piece.

Why is it anyhow that it always seems it's the last piece that's missing? :RpS_cursing:

Damn that had to be frustrating. At least this was not followed by a news story that went like this........

86 year old man kills dog for eating a piece of his jigsaw puzzle.

Ah, but maybe it 24 the last piece that was missing.

Maybe it was the FIRST piece that was missing, only Mr Harris didn't know it.
