If you were cheated by a lawyer or solicitor CALL THE POLICE and don't waste your time with the Law Society - a corrupt bunch of old buddies who cover for each other. Why the hell do you think a lawyer pays $10,000 a year to belong to the old boys club? They do not protect the public from crooked lawyers they protect the lawyers from the angry public, news media, and prosecutors! Look at this outrageous complaint (borrowed from a legal forum). The only two crimes this lawyer did not commit was murder and rape and yet the law society dismisses it without saying why, and without even contacting a single one of nineteen witnesses provided by the victim! http://bruceslawsocietycomplaint.wordpress.com (be sure to review the exhibits) The William Gilmour case is typical of the 1,000+ complaints that get filed every year in Ontario, yet how many do you hear about? Less tham 2% of lawyers are punished - SECRETLY and the public never get to see the complaints or read about crimes of these lawyers like this here Bruce And The Courts (http://ohiocourtroomcorruption.blogspot.com)
This lawyer is clearly a criminal who belongs behind bars. He commits extortion, perjury, grand theft, etc and walks away from all of it with a grin on his face. I am just one of thousands who expect the Law Society to be truthful and publicly warn us about problem attorneys. Seriously the executive director of the law society is by legal definition an "accomplice" when they hide instead of reporting lawyers like Gilmour to the police. Read these articles and see if you don't agree?
