"The authorities said they had conducted tests on top-selling store brands of herbal supplements at four national retailers — GNC, Target, Walgreens and Walmart — and found that four out of five of the products did not contain any of the herbs on their labels. The tests showed that pills labeled medicinal herbs often contained little more than cheap fillers like powdered rice, asparagus and houseplants, and in some cases substances that could be dangerous to those with allergies."

Wonder how we could go about getting them to test stuff sold and marketed by MLM companies?

In the case of TREVO, they claim there are 174 nutraceutical ingredients in the bottle.

Really?

Would be interesting to see how close they come to that number if they checked.

People don't stop to think, but if there really was 174 nutraceutical ingredients in the bottle, and if you took a one ounce swig of the juice, you be getting 1/174 of an ounce of each ingredient.

Hardly enough, in my opinion, to make the blind see and the lame walk, as the TREVO testimonials claim.

I don't know, but I'm really craving asparagus right now for some reason.

I've got a hankering for some ashwagandha.

Ashwagandha is used to restore male libido, cure impotence and increase male fertility. It is widely used in southern Asia as a male sexuality tonic.
