The Savings Seekers appear to be horrifically failing reps. Of the total 24,277 Business Opportunity Leaders, only 361 are making $25,000.00+ before expenses. That is 1.5%. Just imagine the real bloodbath when including forced purchases and other expenses.

Nerium claims 70% pf the purchase do go to preferred and retail customers. So, that would mean there are 108,000 customers. That means each rep on average has a laughable 1.43 customers plus themselves making forced purchases of this overpriced, overhyped and potentially unsafe product. With an average of only one and a half customers per rep this is a sure money loser for the vast majority. Real retail businesses have exponentially more customers than sales people. The fatal flaw!

To promote a skin product that purports to be an extract of a potentially lethal substance without safety data while advertising that it is somehow safe because it was used by “herbal practitioners” and dismissing a wealth of data on poisonings as “negative stories” is so ludicrous it’s beyond belief.

That article is a great read with lots more info!

Oleander Leaf (http://www.cancer.org/treatment/treatmentsandsideeffects/complementaryandalternativemedicine/herbsvitaminsandminerals/oleander-leaf)

One should ba afraid to slather this snakeoil on their skin. Skin is our largest organ and absorbs whatever one puts on it. Yikes!

That will sure make one feel safe having that product in their home. What if a child should ingest that snakeoil?

Oleander? It was one of the leading causes of death among Boy Scouts if I recall some years back.

After reviewing Nerium, it is my opinion that the focus of the business opportunity is the endless recruitment of Brand Partners. There is a very small percentage of people that are able to make over $10,000 per year. It has all the signs of a product-based pyramid scheme.

Nerium lawsuit: Block FTC from 'rewriting' law to shut down legal companies as 'pyramid schemes' | Cook County Record (https://cookcountyrecord.com/stories/517932567-nerium-lawsuit-block-ftc-from-rewriting-law-to-shut-down-legal-companies-as-pyramid-schemes)

...On Nov. 1, Neora LLC, formerly known as Nerium, and its founder, Jeffrey Olson, filed suit in Chicago federal court, asking the judge to declare their business is not a “pyramid scheme” and bar the FTC from pursuing a “civil administrative enforcement proceeding” against companies like Neora/Nerium that it says are considered legal under state laws.

“MLMs are legal in the United States,” Neora/Nerium wrote in its complaint (https://jnswire.s3.amazonaws.com/jns-media/c4/6d/6476477/Nerium_v_FTC.pdf). “Literally millions of Americans are participants in MLMs. Hundreds of thousands are or have been participants in Nerium selling over a billion dollars of desired products.

“Yet, the FTC’s newly announced standards that it seeks to apply to Nerium and Mr. Olson would put virtually all MLMs out of business…”
In recent years, the FTC has stepped up oversight of so-called MLMs, with the agency taking actions against some it has defined as illegal pyramid schemes.....

The FTC is such a big bully!!! :RpS_tongue::RpS_w00t:

FTC Sues Multi-Level Marketer Neora, 'Nerium', Alleging it Operates as an Illegal Pyramid Scheme | (https://spacecoastdaily.com/2019/11/ftc-sues-multi-level-marketer-nerium-international-alleges-it-operates-as-illegal-pyramid-scheme/)

The Federal Trade Commission sued the multi-level marketer Neora, LLC, formerly known as Nerium International, LLC, and its Chief Executive Officer, Jeffrey Olson, alleging that the company operates as an illegal pyramid scheme and falsely promises recruits they will achieve financial independence if they join the scheme.
The lawsuit also alleges that defendants deceptively promote “EHT” supplements as an antidote to concussions and chronic traumatic encephalopathy caused by repetitive brain trauma, as well as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. The FTC is seeking to permanently stop the defendants’ deceptive practices and return money to consumers.

Sleazy snake-oil salesman. Time to make MLM illegal period!
