It is astounding how many times it has to be pointed out that HYIPs are ALL scams based on getting in soon enough to steal someone else's money!

The formal hearing was moved from Nov 27th to Jan 22 2015 09:30 (do not know the reason, maybe Steve did not show up)

The next hearing (merits hearing) is scheduled on March 3rd 09:30

On May 24 Bureau of Decisions ruled (http://citoyens.soquij.qc.ca/php/decision.php?ID=725142108252B025E7C3105A4D02C444) that
Steeve Beaudin (was present):
* Forbidden to exercise any securities transactions.
* Forbidden to act as an investment advisor.
* Must close maxhyip.com website.
* Must pay a penalty of $5000 CAD.

(judgement in french is attached)

P.S. To this day the MAXHYIP.com site is still active, which puts him in violation of this order.

But he has a disclaimer warning people they could be getting involved in illegal activities by participating in the programs he monitors. Why is Quebec so concerned with him making money off of other criminals?
