Once again I find myself returning to this forum but for different reasons. In the past I found this site to be a very much needed force to fight evil, yes evil on the Internet. It amazes me that people have trouble forming that word with their lips and keys on a key pad! EVIL! I guess they haven't figured out a politically correct word yet to cover EVIL.

Any way I am rambling, to the point, I need help. I have a loved one that is currently scouring the Internet in the hopes of finding a telemarketing job on line that can be done in the home. I found Convergys listed on Clark Howard's website as a recommendation.

Is this a legitimate work at home business? Is there such a thing as a legitimate call center job where you work at home with your own computer, your own headset, etc............?

Thank you for your hard work in the research you provide to fight against yes there it is that word again that people have a hard time saying, EVIL?:pulling_hair_out:

Generally I like Clark Howard as a consumer advocate.

Here is his work from home link. Work From Home guide | www.clarkhoward.com (http://www.clarkhoward.com/news/clark-howard/employment-military/work-home-guide/nFZH/)

That said here are some comments on Convergys. I don't have any opinions on the company, my phone rings and I always think "time to disconnect the damn thing", so I probably would not be a suitable employee.

Convergys Reviews | Glassdoor (http://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Convergys-Reviews-E8348.htm)

Convergys Employee Reviews | Indeed.com (http://www.indeed.com/cmp/Convergys/reviews)

I have seen Clark Howard's links provided about work at home opportunities. I just don't know anyone that it has worked for. The link you suggested of employee reviews is through Glassdoor or Indeed is of employees that don't work at home, they still do the conventional traffic commute to a building every day or evening. I am specifically asking about those who found a way to do this at home and what their experiences are.
I personally think it is a died and gone to hell type of job, (personal experience speaking when I commuted to a building to do this) but I am looking for someone that is out of work and really discouraged about providing for their family. I do appreciate your time to talk to me via internet. If there is someone that has more knowledge about these work at home using your own phone and computer it would be appreciated.
