Regular REALSCAM.com (http://www.realscam.com) contributor JustTooMuchTime (http://www.realscam.com/members/justtoomuchtime/) aka Paul Schlegal has taken the time to collate a list of some of the most commonly used fake names being used to promote dubious "opportunities" and outright scams on his excellent WorkAtHomeTruth (http://www.workathometruth.com/) website

With Pauls' kind permission, we are reproducing that list here:

Fake Bizop Names A – Z

March 21, 2014 ByPaul Schlegel (Founder, WorkAtHomeTruth) (http://www.workathometruth.com/author/admin/)

It’s not surprising that many sites selling questionable business opportunities, farciful money making programs, or dubious work at home schemes use fake names in their promotional materials. What IS surprising is how many times the same fake names are used to promote numerous questionable opportunities and/or outright scams.

The names have been used to promote one or more of the following types of questionable home business or work at home schemes:

Ad posting
EMail Processing
Link posting
Rebate processing

To understand why you should avoid programs being promoted by the fake names listed on this page, read the following two articles:

Thanks, LRM. Hopefully, we can all keep adding to this.

Also, realized that Yahoo's President and CEO is Marissa Mayer - although I'm sure that's how the scammers got the idea for the fake Melissa Mayer name.

Ryan Stephens was a fake name used to promote the Online Home Careers scam. Apparently a REAL person named Ryan Stephens ended up getting lots of visitors to his site because he had that name:

I believe the name Brent Richard used at WorkAtHomeWarning .net and workingathomewarning .co.uk Work From Home Reviews.is a fake name.

Brent certainly lives in a huge number of states and countries courtesy of his GEO-IP script.
