A few weeks back I was flipping through an "opportunity magazine", and guess who had a full page ad for something called Get Mega Rich?

I got curious and signed in to see what it is all about. Since I have gotten about 70 spam emails from Simon Stepsys, no stranger to these pages. Here is the deal for those that are curious, his "business" if you can call it that is to get people to sign up for opportunities. In other words he will make a commission getting you to sign up for the opportunity Du jour. Companies promoting what can generously be described as very questionable deals will use him to promote to others. He will flash big checks and purport to be a "top earner". As soon as he has recruited all he can, he will move on. He is NOT working these businesses, he collecting commissions from sign up fees.

While there may be some "free" options, the only way you will be paid is if you get others to sign up. There is no earning a living clicking 5 ads per day, these ventures are not so cleverly disguised Ponzi/Pyramid Schemes where there is little or no retail. Not only illegal, all but a very few at the top will LOSE their money. This is a mathematical certainty, not an opinion.

Foolishly I made a rash decision and went “ALL IN” thinking that with the help of the self proclaimed ‘Internet Guru’ I would make my money back in no time.

Once I had paid for and been through the various packages and listened to some of Simon’s Saturday morning webinars I tried contacting him through Julie Davies (who I later discovered was actually his girlfriend), I didn’t receive replies to my emails. After a few attempts and a few weeks passed, I tried to contact Simon directly by email, phone, Skype, SMS. I got a reply to an email telling me to buy tickets for Chicago which I wasn’t prepared to do baring in mind I had just spend about $5k and had little to show for it, he also told me to call him. I tried to call but could not get a reply.

I emailed again asking how to claim my incentives for going all in and eventually 3 months after signing up I got to speak to Simon. The coaching call had very little substance, just telling me to try promoting on Facebook and telling me how well people were doing with Empower. I put things into action and got about 40 people signed up to my list, none of which have converted to sales.

I have never received the $35k worth of products, leads or anything else and now realise that it was just a ploy to get me to buy all of the products as nearly all of the commission would go to Simon. I know I am not the only one that has fallen for this, I have since been in contact with at least another 6 people that signed up as I did and did not get what they were promised.

I really cannot justify continuing with my monthly fees as I have no return, looking into this further there are only a very small amount of people that actually make any money with Empower. 97% of affiliates earn less than $100 per month (source: Empower Network income disclaimer).

Simon is still sending out these emails containing empty promises just to get money out of you. If you do sign up under him be prepared to be disappointed, you will not get what you have been offered.

Poor Simon, he is having a hard time finding the next golden goose that was MAP. His string of failures has damaged his claim of him being this great Internet Marketer and knows how to make money on the Internet. It is showing in his marketing his new can't miss programs. They don't have the vibe and impact of when he was pimping MAP. He is truly confused and shocked at the turn of events and people aren't believing him anymore. We know with CWE this can't be the case or all trades would be closed. In the first pack of lies Stepsys has 77 open trades, hence not arbitrage.

There are any number of woo peddlers that tout option selling systems that show 90% winners. The problem lies with the 10% trades that lose money. Eat like a bird **** like an elephant and picking up nickels in front of a steamroller are phrases often heard about these can't miss strategies. The 10% loses will come and wipe out all profits plus some, the market ensures this is how risk is priced. No free lunch is another phrase c:RpS_wink:ined by some hater stealing dreams.

WINNING RATE over 99%!

Foolishness aside, a $2,000 software license is not going to win 99% percent of the time.

Recently I put on a trade for $18,000, 75% chance (keeping it simple) I will lose $18,000. 25% chance max profit on the trade is $82,000. Made a similar trade two years running and lost, it's a once a year thing. Two more years of losses and I will still show a small profit based on the math, that's how people that actually trade analyze risk/reward IMO. Winning percentages are meaningless unless you factor in the costs of the losers. Even more meaningless when people make **** up.

Insider trading charges aside Steve Cohen is a trading god, and I can damn sure be certain he has no F^ing idea who Stepsys is.

Last week, Simon Stepsys posted yet again on his timeline imploring his legions of Ponzi fans to get out and buy his latest book "The 90 Day Challenge" (https://www.amazon.com/90-Day-Challenge-Simon-Stepsys-ebook/dp/B07K7TYN5B/). He mentioned "Let's get 50 reviews" in something like "the next week".

So I got curious. I clicked on the Amazon link and once there asked myself: "Hmm ... no reviews yet; I wonder how many reviews Simon got for his other two books?" ("The MAP Addiction" and "The The Bitcoin Formula: How To Make Your First Million With Bitcoin").

I clicked on the author link (Simon Stepsys) and got the Amazon page that showed all three books.

"The MAP Addiction" (2016) had three Amazon reviews.

"The The Bitcoin Formula: How To Make Your First Million With Bitcoin" (14 Nov 2018) had zero reviews.

Somewhat curiously, as I go back and check the same thing today, the ability to use the Amazon search engine to search author name "Simon Stepsys" has been disabled.

"The 90 Day Challenge"? No reviews yet.

Oh well, there is still many a Rolls-Royce rental payment to be made promoting Ponzi schemes.
