It looks to me like this scam is operated by Sherm Mason, a perpetual loser and failure even in MLM circles. He "positive thought" himself into bankruptcy proceedings a few years back, if I recall correctly. My first brush with him that I remember was in the "Operation 20k" cash gifting scheme, a pseudo-military operation that boosted of being supported by President Bush.

You missed what the defining quality of a Ponzi scheme is. They do pay, at least initially. That does not change the fact that they are fraudulent and illegal. Therefore, I'm going to give you some misery in return.
