Smart aleck scammers should beware. I have done some fascinating research into homeowner's liability insurance coverage and the exclusions of such. Homeowner's coverage has expanded over recent years to include various forms of liability. That can include libel, slander and defamation. Of course, there is a catch.

The exclusions include:

Personal Injury:
Arising out of oral or written publication of material, if done by or at the direction of the insured with knowledge of its falsity;

Arising out of a criminal act comitted by or at the direction of one or more insured....

Fraud
We do not provide coverage for any insured who has made fraudulent statements or engaged in fraudulent conduct in connection with any occurrence for which coverage is sought under this policy.

Ouch! Folks authoring sights like www.heatherdobrott.com (http://www.heatherdobrott.com) well...

Don't forget about the possibility a site like that could be a felony (http://www.realscam.com/f16/online-harassment-law-texas-271/).
