I kept waiting for one of the Dragon Den members to ask why they were to each put in $37,500 and he had only put in $10,000 to be under him? I would have loved to have heard him try to answer that question.

I bet his shirt was dripping wet when he took his jacket off. But the deer in the headlights look was priceless when he realized they weren't buying his sales pitch and thought he was dumb for investing $10K, or for that matter any amount of money in Lyoness. You could tell he was dumbfounded how he got the concept but they didn't and weren't immediately started writing him checks.

I will give him credit for at least trying, but good grief at least know how to BS and sound convincing while doing it.

I see all Lyonessers saying it was staged, the guy was picked to misrepresent the opportunity, he did not describe it right, etc..

I wish there was a follow up, maybe Dragons should do entire episode of the best Lyonessers pimping their scam :)

Of course that is what the people in Lyoness are going to say. Every member of a Ponzi say the same things when their Ponzi de Jour is exposed, or they get bad press.

I want someone from Lyoness to explain why each of the Dragon Den members were being asked to invest $37,500 to be placed under him, or anyone else who had invested the same amount of money in Lyoness.

I totally agree his presentation sucked, BUT this is how good they really are at presenting to potential members. If he had been presenting to a group of potential members, he would have gotten people to join; and that's what is scary. I doubt if anyone can do a polished presentation to people of the caliber of the Dragon Den members, and not receive the same fate. There is no way the founders of Lyoness would go in front of the Dragon Den members and make their presentation. It would destroy Lyoness in one minute.

Since this was on TV, I just felt he was being nice/polite to him. I loved when the lady started demonstrating with her hands the format and then said, "what did I just form?" Then he tried to say it was not a pyramid. Priceless.

I just wish he had a white board and he had started diagraming the program. It would have taken less than a minute to show the pyramid nature of the program when explaining how you get paid.

We can tear his performance down all we want, but the bottom line is it works for the consumer when they are in a private meeting and all the buzz is in the room. Common sense goes out the window.

Only when he is getting truck drivers from Canada to take a second on their house and pony up for one of his **** deals. I think Salty Droid said it best in his general disgust of man worth billions preying on folks like the man that made this video. All to make a few million more.

I have watched Shark Tank a few times(guess similar to DD), it is pretty good show. Gives a good perspective of what successful business people think when making a decision. Rather refreshing as well to hear from folks who have done well in business about pyramids. Sort of puts the kibosh on the ubiquitous broke haters that MLMers always claim are killing their deals.
