Hello, my name is Higgs Boson and I've been lurking this site for a while now. It's quickly becoming my no.1 resource to find out if programs on the internet are legitimate or not. That said I have a question.

Is there some kind of "Wall of fame" or something to that effect where programs etc. "pass the test" so to speak? I've seen discussions on several scams, one where the program creator even had a chance to sound off in defense of his money making scheme. But is there anything out there that's found to actually work?

Welcome Higgs. I would point you to a couple of very good sources for information, if you have been reading here a while you may have already checked out a few.

These two are directly related to Work at Home. The first from "Just Too Much Time" who posts here, the second from Clark Howard a consumer advocate.

- Truth About Home Business (http://www.workathometruth.com/)

Work From Home guide | www.clarkhoward.com (http://www.clarkhoward.com/news/clark-howard/employment-military/work-home-guide/nFZH/)

This is a link from "Eagle" who posts here, there is some good stuff on his site and about half way down a link to work at home.

https://www.eagleresearchassociates.org/additional-resources/

An this is a link to Kschang's blog, which is not exclusively work at home, but has a lot off good articles.

A MLM Skeptic: Resources (http://amlmskeptic.blogspot.com/p/resources.html)

No blog from me I am afraid, but always happy to spout off about this or that, so if you find a deal, put it up in a thread.

Welcome Higgs to RS. If there are any ones that 'pass the test', I have not seen them.

Welcome Higgs,

If you have an offline network, you can educate people on how to use the Internet to increase their customer base and use The Internet to get more sales. The first lesson is teaching them how to avoid scams and you have certainly come to the right place here.

Welcome Higgs...

For the record.....
Every program creator(scammer) has the chance to come here and make a fool of them self in a lame attempt to justify their scam....
In fact I make a point to welcome them here....

As for a "wall of fame"....I'm sure admin here will build you one if you can find a program that deserves to be there...
After 8 years I'm yet to see an online investment program that deserves "hall of fame" status....
Seen plenty that put member in the "Hall of (financial) pain"....
