Virtual Horse Races? A commissionable product? I don't think even Gerry Nehra would give this his stamp of approval (at least until the check cleared). Let's leave the fact that people are expected to "bet" on a race who's outcome is determined entirely by the people running the software there is no way this could be construed as a "game of skill" so in the US it's illegal online gambling. But if TGIGO were worried about legality well that horse left the barn with the 2x15 pyramid scheme.

OneX, QLXChange? Well it isn't these people's first ride on the ponzi pony (or horse as it may be), we've spoken about them before (http://www.realscam.com/f9/qlxchange-onex-936/). And our pal SecondsOld over at MonkeyMakerGroup when asked if there was any background on the owners and if this was legal said (http://www.moneymakergroup.com/Thegrassisgreeneronline-t441722.html&view=findpost&p=7617352#entry7617352):

Yes, I know the owners and everything has been run past attorneys and government agencies and given the green light.

:RpS_blink:

I'm sure the lawyers looked this over closely, I love the copy/paste errors in the affiliate agreement (http://site.thegrassisgreeneronline.com/affiliate_agreement.html):

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the United States, without reference to rules governing choice of laws. Any action relating to this Agreement must be brought in the United Kingdom and you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

When crawling the website there are many indications of less than professional web design, I'm not a hacker but a script kiddy could knock that place offline. And I keep finding links to and pitches from a bunch of less than successful marketing, lead generation and clunky product deals going back years. Like Cut My Dependancy LLC (http://www.talkgold.com/forum/showthread.php?t=170176) from 2007, Master Sales Pages and The Profit Portfolio dot coms. Why are all these old crappy fly by night deals included on pages for a new crappy fly by night program? I'm not really sure. But I suspect that before the year is out if you do a site search on the new next magic money program from these people, you'll find the remnants of thegrassisgreeneronline dot com on their website.

Considering what a POS this seems to be, perhaps they should have stolen Irma Bombeck's line, :The grass is always greener over the septic tank"!

Just a little bit more on Rick Hare, the guy who the site is registered to and who is listed as president of the now defunct Tams LLC also mentioned in the registration info. Well in 2010 the scam he was running was OpportunityZoom (which also left fragments of it's self on the grass is greener over the septic tank site). Once again MMG played the role of an archive here (http://www.moneymakergroup.com/Opportunityzoom-Oppor-t324923.html&view=findpost&p=6052081#entry6052081):

Hey David. :::SIGH::: I couldn't agree with you more. I know we both felt we'd really found something spectacular... instead, it turned out to be craptacular!

Honestly, Jeff was a breath of fresh air. And when he left? He was still a breath of fresh air. He REFUSED to toe the company line and go along with the BS that typically surrounds this stuff... you know, go down with the ship and take everyone aboard with you? Nope. That wasn't Jeff. As soon as he had the full picture, he very quickly extricated himself - and then they went to bashing him trying to make him look inept, saying his marketing plan was 'illegal' and then, ultimately, trying to make it seem like he was trying to steal their database. Typical throw up crap and and attempt to deflect attention away from the company's failure to perform.

Everyone in corporate, Rick Hare (who has had two prior companies before this one... The Gamma Project and The Profit Platform/Digital View Tube -- all of which bit the dust and left investors high and dry), Rex Lusk (who doesn't want anyone to refer to him as Rex Lusk but wants to be called 'Gouch Banks'... I wonder why THAT is??), Angie Yutzler who has been Rick's partner according to SunBiz.org records for at least 5 years and who handles the cash-flow... or lack thereof, Jim Spellacy who accepted the responsibility of being put out in front of this mess and was announced by Rick Hare that he is now running the company - but really isn't... is just the fall guy for when this whole house of cards comes tumbling down -- compliments of Rick Hare... each of these people have utterly failed to come forward and let the field know what is REALLY going on.

At any rate... it is what it is at this point and there is nothing that can be done about it... except to warn others. Out of all the people in corporate, I blame Rick Hare who is the CEO and mastermind behind all of this. With his prior failed attempts at this and trail of investors to whom he owes money... this isn't another 'mistake' or case of bad luck. It is a lifestyle for him, apparently. And the ONLY reason that you, David, and others to include myself, even got involved with this? Is because there is NOTHING out there on Rick Hare. Nothing on his first two businesses. No warnings of 'investors be wary'. NOW there is. No one should do business with someone who habitually fails to keep their word, fails to tell the truth, and consistently takes money from others without returning it. Simply bad business.

And from later in the same thread at MMG that was linked above:

I lead a pretty busy life now and don't have a lot of time for the "Opportunity Zoom" type businesses of the world... but just a post - as a WARNING. DO NOT join Opportunity Zoom. Rick Hare, Jim Spellacy, Angie Yutzler, Rex Lusk, Al Lawson and Rayda Roundy are all involved in the shady business that is Opportunity Zoom. Make sure you take any claims they're making and anything they tell you with -- not just a grain of salt - but the whole darn shaker.

LOL, I like it but my favorite is" the grass is always greener because these scams are fertilized with BullSh**."

Gotta love the reasoning posted by SecondsOld: "The owners liked his domain name, so they are in the process of purchasing the domain from Rick which led to the domain being hosted on his server."

Are you f*cking kidding me. "They" (the owners...cough cough) just happen to like this name and couldn't come up with their own, they need to acquire it from a known scammer, Rick Hare. That is one of the most far-fetched BS stories I have ever read!

Yea, but thegrassisgreeneronline just trips off the tongue so easily that it's hard to blame them.

Of course that wouldn't explain why they would leave the domain and the website in the control of someone they purchased it from (and presumably want nothing to do with) for the entire prelaunch development period and on into launch. After all, dear SecondsOld already made his first "I got paid" post.

OK, this is getting a little interesting, not sure what it means yet but it deserves to be noted. In various places on the thegrassisgreener website it refers to a BitCoinPros LLC. We have a business listing for it (http://www.bizapedia.com/fl/BITCOINPROS-LLC.html) which includes the following:

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, PRESIDENT

Burrell, Jr. Bill (http://www.bizapedia.com/people/BILL-BURRELL.html)

And (yet another) "can't miss business opportunity" being pitched by SecondsOld on MMG is something called "RipTunes." (http://www.donotlink.com/vL)* It's like Itunes only it pays you. There doesn't seem to be a website yet just an IndieGoGo donation page (http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/riptunes-crowdshare-music-distribution?c=home), and at the bottom of that page we find:

OK, so Bill, Richard and Cornell from BitCoinPros are also in Riptunes. I'm not sure who "Tom Starr" is (Ringo's nephew?) but Mark Evans is the soon to be former SVP at Global One who's "Ultimate Power Profits" program launched last summer and seems to be turning tighter and tighter circles while getting flushed down the toilet. And Brian Spatola is of course SecondsOld himself.

For as dubious as their entrepreneurial efforts may be, at least give them credit them for multitasking.

*- Let me know if anyone has trouble with that link, sorta testing something.

well, it's difficult erasing .com and inserting .net
