full review here:

Investigating HiDefNation, is it a real income opportunity, or a suspicious scheme? Does it even provide health care? (http://kschang.hubpages.com/hub/Investigating-HiDefNation-is-it-a-real-income-opportunity-or-a-suspicious-scheme-Does-it-even-provide-health-care)

HighDef Nation already collapsed? Announcement on their website claims AWIS has terminated any relations with them. No further info forthcoming until Monday.

What is awis?

Highdef Nation purported to be a reseller of “health and dental plans”, provided by The American Workers Insurance Services

It appears AWIS might have just somehow found out it's name was being used in vain.

AWIS sells "health discount plans", not insurance.

There's a person reposting "news" from High Def that they switched to "Health Insurance Innovations" out of Tampa, FL, who's a real agent for real insurance, but the short-term kind (12 months or less) at hiiquote.com but there is no independent confirmation of this.

HII doesn't have the best reputation on BBB, and their own disclaimer has a LONG list of exclusions, but otherwise, looks like real insurance (but there's a discount club and discount card program in there as well, plus a "plus care package" of some sort at extra cost)

Yeah. still no clue who they are. lol.

Which is the whole point.

Some shady pseudo-MLM with a recruiting based compensation plan is asking you send them money in order for them to act as a third party agent for some "Insurance Service" you've never heard of.

Not exactly confidence inspiring.

High Def Nation pulled the plug. Domain is now "parked".

Wrong kschang...HighDefNation domain site is NOT PARKED!! There is a statement that you guys wanted to read:

"Highdef Nation has just been made aware of the message on our corporate page. We have not been contacted by AWIS so we suspect that our system has been compromised. The IT department and AWIS corp is now closed but we are currently working to resolve this very serious matter! We will keep you updated. We will still have the HDN nightly call as scheduled. Thank you."

Do I detect sabotage here? :watching_you:

Now readers know exactly why it is some REALSCAM.com (www.realscam.com) threads are so graphic heavy.

YOU decide

Did the notice appear on the HighDefNation website ???

Was the HighDefNation domain "parked" on the day kschang said it was ???

Is GeminiDoggs' implication that someone hacked and defaced the HighDefNation site valid ??

YOU decide

Oh, it definitely was parked... THEN came back to life.

Now it's a completely BLACK THEME with a mere count-down timer with ZERO info.

EDIT: There was no hack. The company had to pivot and redesign its entire business model, and it decided not to say anything until November 1st.

However, they are still doing DAILY "leadership calls" and such, all announced on Facebook.

Whoever made up that story about "compromised" is bullsh**ing.

Here's a few bits of proof: the website got a makeover the day after I said it was parked (October 23rd)

Members are claiming that AWIS did cut them off... but members now has a tale about how AWIS is poaching HDN members.

How can it be poaching, when HDN is the recruiting org for AWIS?

This constantly changing story is also very reminiscent of Zeek scam.

There was no relaunch yet, despite the fact that it's now 03-NOV-2012 when the relaunch should have happened back on 01-NOV-2012.

Instead, there is a new policites and procedure

http://highdefnation.com/Policies_Procedures/HDN_PP.pdf

(Someone archive this, quick!) Except it refers to yet ANOTHER UPS Store as their corporate address, and refers to "governing laws of Nevada" when they are NOT registered in Nevada!

Seems they may have plagiarized another company's P&P (probably a nutritional supplement company as it refers to not make any bogus nutritional / theraputic claims) and did a mass search and replace... very badly.

They threw a new "theme" on the website, but it still has NO useful content, as in "what exactly are you selling?"

Their support FAQ consists of one question

Q: Are we in prelaunch?
A: Yes we are.

No, I'm not making this up.
