Our site was received around 73,000,000 packets-per-second (PPS) SYN Flood and 118 Gbps UDP attack. In order to protect our site and clients in the last week we purchased the highest protection packages available from the all DDoS protection leaders that cost us more than half a million dollars. After even doing that they couldn't keep the site 100% up and protected so we had about 12 hours of unscheduled downtime last week. In order to protect our clients and get the guarantees we needed we finally choose the best option and we moved to Prolexic. PONZI - STAY AWAY

I had a quick look and it seemed to be another money making forum in the same genre as TalkGold and MMG, They have made a very feeble attempt at cataloging scams of the past. If they can't write a bit of Internet history with dates, names of administrators, major promoters, mods etc, how can they record modern history?

TG or MMG are far more valuable databases for historical ponzi researchers than that rubbish list. What on earth do these guys have to sell? Names of a few HYIPS that fizzled out. A work release kid could make a list like that from MMG or TG and nothing else.

I think we should bash their efforts. If it gets off the ground, it could be dangerous. Refugee scammers from Adlandpro are not welcome in TG or MMG so they could migrate over there. There are also plenty of scum bags from MyCashForums and T.I.M.E. looking for new homes to train their offspring.

What does that prove ??

Of course it's "paying"

It wouldn't be a very good HYIP ponzi if it just took your money and didn't "pay" you something, now would it ??

What is that payment for ??

Referral commission ??

Is that one days' worth of ROI ??

How many "payments" will you need to receive to get back your seed money, before you begin to make a profit ??

Not even close. No address, no license to peddle securities, just a bunch of empty verbiage on a website. They are claiming to be in the US with 300,000 plus members, with an impossible return. This one should be easy for the feds to shut down.

I joined their forum but did not use an alias so I will probably be banned.

I would like to point out how effective RS has been helping the authorities to get these hyip monitors shut down. Autosurf Authority and the Safelist are burned toast. MyCashForums and Adlandpro have been reduced to a joke with a few well known pimps trying to keep them going. T.I.M.E. Management Systems forced to change name to trueincomeonline (http://trueincomeonline.com/?a=home) which is at deaths door and a few others are struggling for survival.

Well, here is what QS/Amanda had to say about AVO, and I quote:

Comment:

Here is a long-term program that caught my eye. It has everything we look for plus a lot of extras. You can’t help but see all the work and money that’s been put into bringing this program online. As far as security they have gone out of the way: COMODO Hacker-Proof, McAfee Secure and GeoTrust Anti-Malware protect the most powerful dedicated servers of AVO INC.

When you look at their site you’ll find a lot to look at so make sure you have a few extra minutes to look everything over.

The easiest part is the Plan…since there is only ONE. It’s 3% DAILY PROFIT for 90 Business days (Mon-Fri) so no matter how much you invest you will receive the same 3% Daily with your principal deposit being returned to you upon completion of your plan. Let’s take a look:

We’ll use $100 as the example — When you deposit $100 in a 90 Business Day plan it will actually run for 126 Days (paying only on weekdays (Monday-Friday less the occasional Holiday). During the 126 days you will receive 90 payouts at $3.00 (3%) each for an “accumulated profit” of $270.00 (270%) PLUS the return of your original deposit of $100 giving you a grand total of $370.00 upon completion of the plan. You will have reached your Break Even Point on day 48 so the balance will be “pure profit”. A deposit made today would end of 12/13/2012.

Conclusion: With all of the short to mid term programs we have seen recently this is the first I’ve seen in a long while that I chose to review. Strangely enough you can see that they didn’t rush…the domain was actually registered in 1996: Created : 07-oct-1996, Updated : 05-aug-2012
Expires : 06-oct-2021.

Should we believe all of the hype about being around since 2003? I truly don’t know, but the information is verified — the choice is yours. When a program is introduced in HYIP I treat it as any other program.

If you like long-term, sustainable programs you might want to take the time to check this one out. It appears to have an Admin and staff that have taken their time in bringing this one online…you can see the funds needed to get to this stage. I think the only thing they will need is very strong promotion…and it appears they are on their way with this.

Enjoy reading about Avo Inc…only use funds set aside for high-risk investments…always Play Safe!

Yes, she is impressed with all the work and money they put into their website. Hmm, about 1 hour to put it together from the script they bought and spent about $50 to launch the site. Yes siree a lot of time and money spent on the site. So since QS/Amanda has given it her thumbs up, it has to be legit. :RpS_lol: :RpS_lol:

The reason that they are not advertising in other forums is that they have no money left to advertise. It should also be obvious to anybody with a grain of common sense that they are not paying their paid shills enough to get the scam launched. It is in its death throes already.

All of them are "registered companies" but, I sure as h*** won't be sending them any money in the mail as an "investment" much less some bunch of bozo electrical contractors in New York.

You, on the other hand, being a HYIP ponzi shill, might send them your life savings........or not

The website AVO INC looks very professional, its security is good, system is better, efficient customer support, site looks good, everything seems real nice.

Have you seen their blacklist? No historical data. No names, court details. No information about anything. As I said once before, a school kid could have compliled that list from sites like TG or MMG. Information about known scams and scammers was recorded far better than that by Jake Amadee and Kent Black who are reputed to have co-operated with The Fed to save their own necks.

Do you think modern historians have left out the first decda and a few more years from the Internet era. It was history in the making from the time the first few programmers got together online.

Call the place a monitor with no historical data.:computer_smash:

And still not licensed or registered with the SEC or CFTC to do FOREX trading. None of their traders are licensed or registered either. Their business license means absolutely nothing when it comes to investments. Want to try again about them being legal? :RpS_lol: :RpS_lol:

The IP address where it is hosted is owned by Prolexic, the DDOS protection company, and their blurb also claims they are under Prolexic.
The Yellow Pages link from their front page leads to: Avo Inc Brooklyn, NY, 11204 - YP.com (http://www.yellowpages.com/brooklyn-ny/mip/avo-inc-468797148?lid=468797148)
Here you find currently 7 reviews. They date from Sept 14, and each reviewer only has one review - a sure shill sign (sorry for the tongue twister)
1. koming.utama 09/14/2012 AVO INC - LEGAL INVESTMENT TERDAFTAR… (in Indonesian)
2. pengusaha… 09/23/2012 AVO INC International asset management…
3. Hantara 10/15/2012 AVO INC International asset management…
4. steve1996 10/19/2012 This is one of the best HYIP investment…
5. dixta.jaya 10/20/2012 Potensi Income AVO Inc… 3% DAILY PROFIT
6. nawibee 10/30/2012 AVO INC Daftar/Join klik : https://avo. (in Indonesian)
7. Nurwidi.selalu… 10/31/2012 AVO Inc terdaftar resmi di USA… (in Indonesian)

Points to note
- the prevalence of Indonesian language for these one-off reviews
- the repetition of the comments
- all have selected the 5-star highest rating
- no comments earlier than September 14

If you were to invest in this scheme with hopes of achieving a return of 3% per day, there is a period of 90 days before you achieve your full return (at 270%, plus your initial investment returned.)
90 days from mid September, assuming that was the start date, takes us to mid December. So over the first 3 months they will be raking in the funds, and it would be able to last until end of year before there would be any serious run on the initial investments and the 270% returns. This would give this supposedly Indonesian based scam enough time to fleece as many suckers as possible before moving on to a new scam under a different name.

A sure sign of a HYIPs scam is a site showing lots of successful trades and returns, dating back over a short time period. An example is at Hot HYIPs.com - AVO INC Details (http://www.hothyips.com/details/AVO+INC.10044.html)

There are over 60 votes and comments listed, over the past few days, all with positive reviews, coming from a veritable net of IP addresses. There is a pattern of the timestamps, often showing roughly 60 minutes between posts over long runs of time, possibly from a botnet with a captcha cracker or a patient manual captcha provider. People appear to be enthused at their payments. The comments are pretty uniform as if taken from a set of scripts with random variable amounts thrown in.

The email addresses shown are uniformly distributed over the major free email service providers - (Google, MSN, Yahoo, Sify, etc) with names redacted.

Who is the registrar for avousa.com?
Domain Name: AVOUSA.COM
Registrar: 1 API GMBH
Updated Date: 04-nov-2012

News flash: German registrar 1 API GMBH has pulled the plug on AVOUSA.COM.

Domain Name: AVOUSA.COM
Registrar: 1 API GMBH
Status: clientHold
Status: clientTransferProhibited
Updated Date: 15-nov-2012
Creation Date: 22-oct-2012
Expiration Date: 22-oct-2016

So you can see that on November 15 they revoked the domain name (Client Hold) and refused to allow the customer to transfer it to any other registrar. They took this action even though the name was paid up until October 2016. Registrars don't usually take that action unless they suspect there is unlawful use of the domain name, avousa.com in this example.

Something stinks.

This is a copy-cat.
or just call it a phising site, all it does just records userids and passwords tried to login.

It is not a HYIP, some kind of data collection on AVO users.

And if they show SberBank logo in bottom, chances are thats from Russians or Ukrainians.

No, AVO was never originated in indonesia.

It was mostly promoted there. And lately Malaysian and Indonesian investors take the major share of HYIP players.

PS: about 6 old AVO userids i found in forums and tried in "Check Account Status" always says "not found". So it is just a capturing site.

Now why they need it ? - getting passwords, perhaps there was a DB leak from old AVO of userids + emails,
or there was data collected from those "Recover HYIP losses" sites who asked userids or AVO admin sold the DataBase but passwords are encrypted in there.
Assuming that most AVO investors were not intelligent enough and using exactly the same password for their email, paypal, LR,PM - you can only imagine how many doors it opens for cashing in for scammers.

PPS: some information i received when AVO was alive indicated that admin was a Russian speaking individual.

Here is more info on old AVO if you want.
Avo.net Scam « HYIP-Pulse.com Blog (http://blog.hyip-pulse.com/avo-net-scam/)

The only piece of information there which is wrong is the name of Admin (and list of other programs)
Ali denied any connection to AVO and by knowing his openness about all programs he ran in the past i see no reason for him to lie that he was not an admin of this one.
