There was very very interesting interview on NPR's Diane Rhem Show today. Philip Houston and Michael Floyd are both retired CIA agents and they've published a book titled:
Spy the Lie: Former CIA Officers Teach You How to Detect Deception (http://www.amazon.com/Spy-Lie-Former-Officers-Deception/dp/125000585X)
The Diane Rhem interview is available on this page (http://thedianerehmshow.org/shows/2012-07-19/philip-houston-and-michael-floyd-spy-lie) and is well worth a listen. There are more than one significant insights discussed about typical patterns of deception.

They would OD if exposed to the gamut of liars on the ponzi boards...!

Actually a lot of those tips are already explained on blogs like Psychology Today and such. I think I even linked to a couple... I wrote an article on one: 10 tactics of habitual liars or something like that.

Well, both authors were Ex CIA with years of experience interrogating everyone from foreign intelligence assets to terrorists and have followed that up with private sector work ranging from common thieves to serial killers. But you are perhaps correct in pointing out that neither of them has ever dealt with Ken Russo or Faith Sloan.

Perhaps we could suggest this as a possible follow up book (If Lynn doesn't beat them to it).

Too funny but insightful as this is part of what my next book is going to cover. I may have a former Mod help and be willing to spill the beans. Been doing research and hope to start it next month and have it out by October or November, and it will be on Amazon and Kindle. Also going to be putting my current book on Kindle shortly.

I did allude to some of it in my current book, but it needs to be expanded upon in greater detail, and I have some people that are helping collaborate on it with me just like my current book.
