I've been hit up by storesonline.com twice now, both times with the promise of a free lunch and an iPod. It seems as if you pay them between $200 for their cheapest product of the "chance" at a website, it can exceed $6,000 to get it rolling.

Upon checking with the BBB, here is the report: Storesonline | Better Business Bureau Review | Orem, UT (http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/training-program-companies/storesonline-in-orem-ut-2000585)

This takes me back to the 1970's when I was taken in by a company called Golden Chemical Products who had a similar type of sales pitch, at the time I was financially embarrased so could only afford the starter package. The main ploy was for you to invite your workmates or relations to join so you made more commission when selling your products, but I began to have my doubts as to the ethics and sales techniques of the company and I didn't want to recruit. So I left, but other people bought into it and ended up with their garages full of the stuff as they couldn't sell it on.

Years later someone introduced me to Amway but I didn't join as my experience with direct sales in the 1970's had put me right off this type of multi level marking, now abbreviated to MLM. I think the people who are taken in by this type of scam are just like most of us who would like to be financially secure and enjoy the lifestyle of the rich, so my heart goes out to them.
