New Administrator: What to Expect

Hello to all,

There has been quite an uproar lately over my having been made an Administrator of Scam.com. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to those who are not familiar with me and my work, and alleviate (or perhaps confirm) any fears by those who are.
I am proud to say I was the second one in a line of 4 that banned his sorry worthless can! Bye-bye little Lenny. At least you can honestly say your mission to destroy Scam and get the MLM threads off of the first page of Google was successful. George's usual indifference has cost him and the site dearly!

Now those poor folks are left with the testy and not very forthcoming LM. I wish them lots of luck!!

With a porn purveyor owning the site and in addition someone who seems more worried about being sued by scammers than scams, I cant see scam.com ever regaining much credibility. The problems started long before Len C became an Admin. I believe the ASD thread disappeared after a threat by an attorney friend of a felon. Anyone who owns or runs an anti scam site knows this will happen and has to be prepared. As I've already said, he should have sold it while he had the chance.

Fortunately we have alternatives

George undeniably and indisputably did the right thing, Mr. Doyle's lament aside. But what he does from here is every bit as important. You can't stick a knife six inches into someone's back, then pull it three inches out and call that progress. If George disappears again and keeps hiding behind his usual stack of lies and hope to convince people things are getting better, he's still lying to himself and to his members. Time will tell but Len was only a symptom, not the main problem. So kudos to George for undoing something he never should have done, now go on to fix the real issues.

That's the spirit Fasty. The best thing about the passing of MWave is we can focus more attention on what this place is here for in the first place, fighting scams. We all have a shared past and it's natural to comment on it, but instead of complaining about how they did things, let's show them how we do it. It will take a while to climb high enough on the SERP rankings to attract the general public so we have time to build content and develop our style. And adding content along with the SEO optimizations RS is making here are exactly what we need to climb higher on the SERP. It's a chicken or the egg type problem, we need to be both, at least at first.

This is always the problem with websites.. You got to have the content to create the traffic.. And to create the traffic you must have the content.. Or the money to advertise.. (I would guess that would be out of the question) Or is it?

Great ideas FM! I was just posting in the moderators only area that we need to create a thread in one of our categories for members that wanted to commit post on the thread to become founding members and fulfilling a team effort to do just that. I will make sure this gets done by the end of the day and I look forward to welcoming the first founding members.

He seemed like a nice guy on the phone, he did alot of work. I didn't realize the drama he carried with him. I personally have nothing against him. At the time we were getting THOUSANDS of auto spam bots posting each day and I was close to shutting down the site from all the porn and pill links. He stepped up and helped out alot. I didn't closely monitor his actions. I will take the blame for that. Soapboxmom just got a little too ambitious with her sig file.....which I would not have minded if she stopped bringing up false misinformation about me and the site.

I wrote that liar LM and "Zachary" / George numerous times linkng her fabrications and most importantly quoting all the times Lenny called the site a "cesspool" full of "troll dung" and garbage and filth. Zachary and her ladyship were repeatedly warned before that numbskull made him an admin. He always blew off Stephanie and the rest of us. I have all the PMs and e-mails saved.

NO honorable person would ever post on that cesspool again. It is a den of a porn mogul and his Queen who can never be trusted or respected. I tried everything to get him the information he needed to make an informed decision concerning Lenny and we can all see the result.

Let's get busy showing them how a well run site looks. I have lots more MLMs to post about and I am thrilled to be able to really scambust! Onward!

The edit button should be in the box beneath your post. If I recall correctly you should be able to edit without leaving an edit stamp for 2 or 3 minutes and be able to edit with a stamp for 10 or 15. If it's not working like that folks should tell me and I'll fix it.

When the Lenny fiasco started I contacted George on his Facebook page and one of those disgusting porn sites (goharddotcom in fact) and GeorgeatGeurilla traffic as usual blew me and Staph and everyone off. He had very honest, hardworking Mods and he ignored us preferring to hop into bed with Lenny instead. When will he finally admit Stephanie is a dishones,t manipulative woman and he is a total do nothing who threw Scam right down the toilet despite numerous caring people beggin for some measure of help? Pathetic.

Some of us don't care that George is involved in porn. I certainly don't. To be entirely honest, I make a few bucks a week from promoting porn sites. I guess you can hang me too.

George has his faults as a forum owner. I think he claims to be more busy than he actually is, I also think it takes almost the entire board throwing up their hands in disgust in order to get him to pay attention. Otherwise, he'll just generally dismiss your complaints. There are other things about George that may not be that great, but I'm not perfect either so it's a pot meet kettle situation to me.

As for Stephanie, I wasn't involved with the problems that a lot of you guys had with her and I really don't feel like I should to take sides. Do I think you're justified in your anger? Yes, I do. However this wasn't a problem concerning me. The biggest reason I opposed Len was my fear that his massive ego would eventually reach the political forum. I did NOT want to draw his attention to that forum because it's primarily run away posts, personal insults, and off topic threads. And I like it that way. lol I think calling scam.com a cesspool, however, is kind of lowering yourself to Len's standards. Whenever Len had a problem with a website it automatically became a "cesspool" and he endlessly insulted the site. Scam.com isn't perfect, but I'm not going to stop posting there. I like their political section (yes it's a nuthouse but I like it that way) and I've actually learned a LOT from the science section as well (thanks to kazza... even though sometimes he makes my head hurt lol). This doesn't have to be a "one or the other". People can post both here and there and that shouldn't be a problem. Both of the sites have their benefits, and both sites do or will have their flaws. Nothing is perfect.
