I couldn't just let this one lie.

2010 Blessings has quite deservedly disappeared into the muck - like they all do, sooner of later. The large majority of its nonsense is therefore no longer available. Some of it is, however. This page, for example, is still around. Here's how it describes 2010 Blessings:
Level 1)-You give a gift of $25.You receive 8 gifts of $25 which is a total of $200.Beginning from here on, the gifts you give will come from the gifts you receive. Example: You receive $200-$50=$150 which is yours to keep-then...

Level 2)-You give a gift of $50.You receive 8 gifts of $50 which is a total of $400. (Receive $400; save $100 for the next level and you keep $300).

Level 3)-You give a gift of $100. You receive 8 gifts of $100 which is a total of $800. (Receive $800; save $250 for the next level and you keep $550).

Level 4)-You give a gift of $250. You receive 8 gifts of $250 for a total of $2000; save $500 for the next level and you keep $1,500).

Level 5)-You give a gift of $500. You receive 8 gifts of $500. You receive 8 gifts of $500 which is a total of $4000. (Receive $4000; save $1000 for the next level and you keeep $3000).

Level 6)-You give a gift of $1000. You receive 8 gifts of $1000 which is a total of $8,000. (Receive $8000; save $2000 for the next level and you keep $6000).

Level 7)-You give a gift of $2000. You receive 8 gifts of $2000 which is a total of $16,000. (Receive $16,000; save $5,000 for the next level and keep $11,000).

Level 8)-You give a gift of $5000. You receive 8 gifts of $5000 which is a total of $40,000. (Receive $40,000; save $25 to start over and keep $39,975).

At the end, you will have received $71,400 and gifted $8,925 from the money you have already received from your gifts. Now that’s not bad for giving a one time out of pocket gift of $25!
Now, back when you "got scammed", where did you think that $71,400 was going to come from? Did you think that the 2010 Blessings scammers had their kids go into the money fields and pick it from the trees there? Did you think they were counterfeiting? Or did you think they had a money-making engine the type of which Warren Buffett couldn't even dream? There is, of course, only one place it could come from - later marks. And that's the definition of a ponzi scheme.

And why did you quit? Well, here's your own explanation: "I quit trying this after a month when I didn't receive anything". In other words, had you been able to scam others out of their money the way you were scammed out of yours, you'd still be there. Not exactly a principled stand. Sort of like the pickpocket who insisted he didn't do anything wrong because, when he stuck his hand into the mark's pocket, it turned out to be empty.
